Really cool place to go. One of the better burgers I have had. Selection from the cabinet looked stunning as well. Nice coffee

They serve a nice breakfast, i ordered waffle and hubby tried their salmon bagel. Good quality of food. Cafe itself has a good ambience to have a chat and catch up with friends. Also every friday they have their special doughnut that change flavour every week. Try them on! They are the bomb!!!

Clearly popular, as it's a very busy cafe. We had good service; our food came out quite quickly considering how busy they were.

I really enjoy "Industry." I think it has a lot of potential. However, it always let's me down with how loud it is. I imagine my fiancée probably said the same about me when she first met me, but overtime I grew on her. Likewise "Industry" continues to grow on me. The staff are always lovely, and the food and coffee never dissappint. However don't be fooled, this place is surprisingly loud on the inside, and sadly loses a few stars from me because of it. It's hard to go out to a nice place for a drink or meal but know that you aren't going to be able to have a very good conversation. Don't worry, I will be back! I will happily update my rating when the time comes.

Industry is amazing! Food, staff, coffee everything! I never have anything to complain about. Food really is top notch always fresh and made in house even home made hollandaise that is Devine! (you don't get much of that these days in hospitality most places use the microwave abit to much but not here at industry!) lots of gluten free options which is great for me being coeliac. Coffee is excellent and if your after a Chai latte it's the best you'll get in town! Iced drinks are so good and with fresh whipped cream on top! None of that canned whipped cream. Fresh tasty smoothies aswell. Staff are friendly and polite always helpful and if you go there alot they will know you by name 😂 If you haven't been and tried industry yet your really missing out!!!!

Update: 21/7/2020. So I visited Industry again today (first time in over 5 weeks) and confirmed why I love this café so much. They were pumping out 80's music and the vibe was epic. Rock on Industry....don't change a thing! This place has a great buzz about it and the staff and coffee are awesome. I can see why it's popular with the locals. I didn't eat here but the food in the cabinet looks delicious. You guys rock!

Delicious menu, and a wide range of variety especially for those of us with dietary needs. Very cold when the big doors open, so avoid sitting near these if you can. A popular place to dine, so book a table if you can.

What a great place for lunch or a coffee. Large, spacious and well set out cafe. Has axside meeting room at the back for meetings. The meals we had were enormous so I suggest sharing. Delicious food and nice, friendly service.

Nice place and the service and staff were impeccable. Price wise I thought it quite acceptable- not cheap but not highway robbery either. I was there for breakfast - the food was a bit unusual for my taste and liking. Personal choice and preference - but I didn’t think it fantastic. The hash browns not overly nice - over cooked to the point of being hard and they had a bizzare flavour. Just really didn’t enjoy the breakfast as much as I thought I was going to. The large cheese roll, although good in size and content was bland. Needed to have a bit more flavour to them as well. The service speed was good and the staff were great. I am not feeling overly drawn to have a return visit for breakfast at least.

Great cafe with excellent coffee and wonderful staff! The pastries and counter sweets we have tried have been delicious (shout out to the boysenberry coconut cake - also GF! - and the date and apricot scone we tried today!) The staff are absolutely fabulous, incredibly thoughtful and super nice. It has become our favourite spot to go on a weekday, and we wait all weekend so we can return on Monday and get our coffee fix!

The food was exceptional. I had the garlic aioli cheeseburger, finger licking good. And the fries that came with it were plentiful and crunchy. The staff were very friendly and and efficient.

Was rather impressed!! Not only is the cafe space itself incredibly inviting and pleasing to the eye. Our food and drinks arrived quickly even though it was quite busy and our food was super tasty!! They also had plenty of vegetarian options! Highly recommend!!

Always a pleasure to have catch ups with friends or family here. The only let down which isn't really an issue is that you can never stay long as tables are hot in demand. A very popular place. Book in advance where possible and Let the team know if you plan on a long visit otherwise only allow less than 1hr as you will be asked to move on in the politest way possible :-) Great friendly staff and amazing food!

The breakfast here puts an unexpected twist on the conventional menu items. The results are healthy and delicious. There was also an extensive selection of hand crafted sweet treats. Great industrial atmosphere that is also warm and welcoming.

I love this place. Plenty of parking space. Delicious food and excellent coffee. Really bright, airy and spacious, lots of different size tables to cater for different group sizes. Interior design reflects the name and location in a very classy way. My favourite place fir brunch when I'm in Invercargill.

The food is 5 star! The coffee however is 2 star so unfortunately we now visit the cafes with 5 star coffee and 3 star food. . If only they had great coffee 😥

Really enjoyed the food eg cheese roll and husband had a chicken wrap. Had to take the sweet pinwheel scone as too full. 5/5 for the coffee. Chai latte 3/5. The place is so clean. Seats were wiped and armrests too. Toilets spotless. Easy parking.

Anyone who doesn't contemplate Southland as a Primary Holiday destination truly depriving themselves of the BEST KEPT SECRET. The choice and food at Industry better than any Café in a long time. Tasty, healthy, beautifully presented, 1's order efficiently EXECUTED, and delivered with a sunny smile. Coffee outstanding. Proving 1 doesn't need to be in the trendiest part of "Town" to make it happen. The locals clearly onto it. A must when visiting! CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 🎉👍and THANK YOU.

Very good experience we did sit abit close to kitchen so was abit loud but service was quick 3 mins for drink very nice hot choc and got the galic cheese burger with bacon glased onions and colslaw in burger very nice and fresh and fulling and big crispy chips on the side with homemade tom sauce was eating in 12 mins 9/10 place is never empty we went 1.45pm so lunch rush was over it was friday next time gonna try spicy chicken korean soft tachos mmm

Lovely place to go to for relaxing lunch, large spacious, sunny dinning. Food in very yummy and cakes are devine. Great section of drinks. Would definitely recommend for quick or long lunch. Not open weekends yet, but staff said will be in the future.

Food is great very busy place took a while for anyone to talk to us to be seated even though they walked past us a lot. Could of made some verbal contact on arrival as if it is a first time visit unsure on what to do. I.e just find a table or wait to be seated. Lots of people milling around the entrance later noted some were just waiting for takeaways

Best coffee in the area but nothing really competes and it’s not so good I’d go back just for the coffee.. its the counter food that really stands it apart from the other cafes in town. It’s good but could be great... as my teacher once said “could do better” ;)
