J.Went to Red Eight for a coffee date, it was the first time I'd sat inside and had food as opposed to grabbing a takeaway hot chocolate (because they definitely have the best hot chocolate in Kaiapoi!) The staff was really nice and it was very clean, the decor was very trendy and would be a cute insta spot if you're into that kinda thing. We ordered the pancakes. They were absolutely amazing! We would highly recommend and are definitely coming back!

C.Popped in for lunch and enjoyed great coffee and delicious food. My husband thought the pizza slice was one of the best meals he's ever had. "Knocked it out of the park" He said. Lovely decor too. Big thumbs up!
I.A very nice breakfast, I had an avo on rosti, which was delicious but I wish the poached egg was with a runny yolk on top of it. Otherwise it was very nice and well presented. My husband also had an avo but on rye bread with scrambled egg, it looked and tasted very good too. Both dishes are decent size and we were super full. Coffee and hot chocolate were very good quality and fast despite a busy Tuesday morning.

J.I like a reasonably strong cup of tea and I was well pleased.
The scone (date and orange) was 100%; I shall be back for more.

If you are going, there is little on street parking, but there's a carpark behind the cafe and a rear entrance . People need to be aware that the kitchen closes at two o'clock. The staff are lovely, and try to make your visit pleasant. We enjoyed our meal. Worth a visit.

S.I regularly frequent this cafe their cabinet is excellant & their coffee awesome-however I have one criticism and that is they no longer serve their cabinet food with anything such as a garnish which is quite disappointing to say the least as it makes the food so much more inviting. I know the cafe trade is struggling due to Covid however surely a little garnish could be accommodated?

N.This is our new favourite place for brunch. Delicious coffee and amazing food. Fast service too. If you're keen to go I would recommend booking just to ensure you get a table, else it might be too busy. Have highchairs available too.

B.I have been here a few times. I find the service very average. The coffee seems to differ quite a bit depending upon who makes it. The last time I went, a lot of people who came in after me left before me. All I wanted was a coffee. I dont think I'll be going back

S.Nice place to stop, good coffees and cabinet food ...and get this ...they actually serve coffees on a 1st come 1st served basis instead of placing walkins (wanting takeaway coffees) at the front of the queue, so we got our coffees in a short time! We'll be back well done and great service.

The cappuccinos are also very good.

The employees have been friendly.

Das Ambiente ist rustikal-modern gehalten.
Es gibt ein kleines aber feines Frühstücks-Menü.
Mein Eggs Benedict mit Lachs hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Eins der besten meiner Reise durch Neuseeland.
Die Cappuccino's sind auch sehr gut gewesen.
Zudem sind diverse süße und herzhafte Speisen in der Auslage die allesamt gut aussahen.
Die Mitarbeitenden sind freundlich gewesen.
Der Eingang ist barrierefrei gestaltet (automatische Schiebetür im Innenhof).
Es sind (Behinderten-) Toiletten im Gebäude vorhanden.
