D.Came in by myself, made to feel welcome., friendly and efficient staff, I asked for a regular coffee and the lady who served me had the presence of mind to ask if I wanted a double or single shot.. The breakfast was eggs bacon hash brown and a grilled tomato. AB FAB, perfect eggs !!!!! and all in less than a few minutes, will be there again, thank you.
M.I would recommend this is a great cafeteria serving snacks and all day breakfasts. What was great was serving me a coffee tight on closing time daying they were here for another 30 to 45 minutes cleaning up. It was a really pleasant and friendly environment. They provide good food with an excellent coffee and or tea. There are toilets and parking is usually not difficult as it tends not to be very congested.
Would recommend this venue as a place to go for a casual meeting. It's not too pricey and very reasonable. Easy to locate and find making it a good place to go if pushed for time.

L.Staff were all very young, but unfortunately did not seem to know much about the till, the menu ingredients, but also showed little desire to show initiative and then find the answers to questions. Actually had to ask them directly to please go and find out what was in the dish. Lots of staff behind counter. Coffee was ok but both dishes were not cheap and not great. They could not work out how to make a warm soy milk with some maple syrup and how to charge. Wanted to charge $6.50, usually only costs $2 to $3 so gave up. Doubt I will be back. Disappointing as cafe is close to friends

M.Off street car park . Quick service . My order of what turned out to be three massive , top quality, fried sausages, plus, arrived in smart time. Our party of ten enjoyed their meal, and the atmosphere . Would be one of the best places to dine , away from the city .

M.Clean café with great service, plenty of seating options (including outdoor roadside) and parking, plus child seats and lots of clean child toys. Light and airy with plenty of space. Disappointed to see lots of dishes with eggs but a disclaimer saying free range eggs only available by request and for an extra charge, meaning I just ate cage or barn eggs. Could do with comitting to greener food sources.

M.My brother and I were commuting to work between Christchurch And Rangiora and on the way stopped in at the Rivertown cafe usually for mochacino’s . Convieniently consumed just in time on the way to begin work. We also had the scrambled eggs on toast with tomato’s and bacon, it were good indeed for a late continental breakfest at Rivertown.
