L. P.Lovely stop on the intercity bus. Take scanning seriously which is good to see. Nice food and staff x
M. T.I have stayed here at least 10 times and over the last 5 times things not as good as before. No top sheet on one stay. Freezer totally frozen so can't use heater didn't work. Tonight here again and the jug does not work. Is a good motel but something is lacking.
t.Good to support our local, room had everything we needed for the price. Breakfast was very good, the way you cooked the eggs was soo yum. Thank you ladies.
A. D.German style cafe food. Very nice sausage dishes. Usual cakes sandwiches muffins also available. Soup of the day is a popular and economic option. Good quality at reasonable prices. It is a place that buses stop at so can get busy at times. Staff are good at coping though so not a huge deal.

V. K.It was very cool inside and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks they had in store. It was very big including a motel, gift shop, restaurant and cafe with a small playground at the back. I would recommend this for everyone who wouldn't mind spending a bit of money, because it really is worth it
R. K.This Cafe has been resurrected by Sandra the new owner. 7 years ago it was a rundown dump. Now I stop every time I'm traveling either north or south and I pass through Kaiwaka. Sooooo good.

A. S.Just stopped here for 15 minutes as part of a bus trip. Seems a reasonable place with reasonable food. You will find some speciality German dishes available if that's your thing.

T. C.We stopped in for a quick break whilst on the Intercity Bus trip from Whangarei to Auckland. The bus was running late, so we only had 15 minutes.
I hurried in, and ordered a soy latte, hoping I'd have it in time to wolf down before getting back on the bus.
I was pleasantly surprised by a quick delivery of my coffee, and even more suprised to find it was one of the best coffees I've had in months. I'm a self-proclaimed coffee snob from Wellington (Coffee Capital of the World), so I'm not saying this lightly.
Because of the need to rush back on the bus, I missed thanking the barista, and still regret not having the chance to compliment her.
R.We take 4 cups of coffee with milk here. They supplied 3 cups of black coffee and one small cup of cold milk and seperate sugar packtes. The coffee was so bitter test and we took extra cups of milk and sugars to mix. But the hot coffee changed as cold coffee. So we are not satisfied with coffee.
Y. B.Very roomy and had a nice comfy bed. A bit dated but clean. Had a nice meal at the restaurant and the staff were pleasant.
