First time dining in at Buzz and the customer service was okay, seeing as its Level 2 they kept to the level 2 rules which I appreciated. Now the food… my butter milk chicken burger was a bit salty but great presentation, I got the Buzz Breakfast with no bacon and it was nice very filling and great combination of all my favourite breakfast foods on 1 plate only con was the toast pieces were soggy. But other than that a great coffee and ice chocolate was AMAZING! Would definitely visit again and try more things on their menu.

First time visiting Buzz cafe today for a late breakfast/early lunch and ordered the Steak N Egg Meal. The eggs were a little overdone, and the steak a bit chewy but mostly a solid meal. The description of the meal also mentioned a mushroom sauce, but it turned out to not be a sauce and was more like sautéed mushrooms. Also had a oat milk iced mocha which was very good. The service was amazing, and the food was delivered in a timely manner.

I recently had lunch here with my sister and her daughter. Love this Cafe, Restaurant & Bar. The service was great, very friendly. The food was good. I ordered the Chunky Seafood Chowder with sweet peach tea. The chowder was piping hot, creamy, rich with a good amount of chunky seafood, however only downside, it could've done with a little bit more seasoning, the two piece of toast that came with it was great, not buttered but it would be nice if there was a little butter on the side so I have that option. The sweet tea, was amazing, fresh and not overly sweet. My niece ordered the ham and cheese toastie with chips. She ordered two. The Toasties were a little bit on the small side but overall she loved it. My sister ordered the beef nachos, it looked amazing even though she waited a for a while before it came out, we were almost done with our food when it was finally brought out. The nachos was served on a hot plate which was placed on a board. She was told to be careful as the plate was hot however when she got to eat the nachos it was lukewarm. The highlight would be the desserts. Both myself and my niece ordered the carrot cake and WOW just a delight on the pallet. The serving was very generous and loved every bite! My sister ordered the strawberry cheese cake. Her assessment, it was creamy, delightful and it just melted in your mouth with every bite! Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and food. Would recommend to anyone to go check it out.o

Lots of delicious food at an extremely reasonable price in a funky venue! What more could you want? Add excellent friendly service and staff and you get Buzz Cafe Resturant in Lower Hutt. For a main, I highly recommend the ribs, but all our meals were amazing. I also had a yummy berry smoothie and a sticky date pudding, all for $44. It also has a good looking kids menu. The venue itself is spacious, tidy and has some cool art on the walls. This was by far my best meal out in a long time and I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this excellent establishment.

We ventured upon Buzz during our meander through Lower Hutt following a movie at the pop up cinema, and the service was friendly and warm that we had carrot cake and espresso only to return back for breakfast the next morning! Buzz offers Goody card which is a bonus incentive and we ordered eggs Benedict with bacon, mushroom and avocado to go with lattes. I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch and am happy to have found a great cafe to visit next time I’m visiting my sister. Service was excellent and good was amazing! Highly recommended!

Dropped in for WOAP to try their burger "The Black Ink Paua Burger". Warmly greeted by staff as we walked in, shown to the table. Staff member was positive and good spirited. Food and drinks were delivered to table without any delays. Burger was presented and described as per flyer, actually it tasted great. Plenty of seating options, outdoors in good weather. Atmosphere is relaxed, casual a games table up front. Good selection of beer, wine, cocktails, smoothies and shakes, not to forget tea and coffee options. Wheelchair accessible, kids menu and highchairs so should cater for all and young to old. Located at start of Hutt so heaps of parking available

Had some confusion with adding chocolate chips to the kids waffles, which was more than made up for when they brought out a bowl of choc chips, sauce and ice cream to go with. Wonderful service, really top notch! Gets busy, so I advise you book ahead. There were people at the door who looked disappointed when we were leaving and all the seats were taken. Similarly, the ambient sound is high when the cafe is full and it is sometimes hard to hear each other talk. (None of which is the fault of the cafe, of course.) Very impressed.

It used to be better. I brought my husband and my brother thinking how good it used to be. I was very disappointed. We got very overcooked fried eggs. Also ordered waffles only to find they are selling reheated waffles from the supermarket with a huge markup. I hope they will improve as it used to be really nice there.

Nice staff. Just came in today with my partner. The staff were great when the kitchen lost/misplaced our order. They then got our food out to us pretty quick. Only downside is could use more syrup on the waffles but otherwise the best waffles I've ever had! They were almost caramelized 🥰 We may be back for more brunches

Pricey... We had veggie breakfast and the chicken mushroom pasta. Brekkie was okay, but the chicken mushroom pasta is definitely not recommended.. that was one weird reinterpretation of a classic recipe. Good service, friendly staff.

It was a really good place to grab a coffee. If we were not on a schedule we would of stayed and had a couple of freshly baked scones which looked quite yummy and it was a big hit with the locals.

have visited a few times. food and atmosphere is great, especially the chicken burger and desserts! however, was not super impressed with wedges when I visited a second time as they were pretty bland. coffee is decent but not the best I've tried. one lady that works there is lovely, chirpy and welcoming, but a younger girl that's served me a couple of times always comes across as very bored and uncaring. she doesn't smile, or say thanks or anything! It put my table off, as we had come in for my birthday and she seemed anything but enthusiastic. therefore, my impression of buzz is pretty mixed. I wouldn't hesitate to return for the food :)

Great place for kids! Took my daughter out for breakfast to celebrate her 7th birthday, and had such a great experience that we went back the next week for my younger daughter's 5th birthday, and then again a month later for my son's 3rd birthday! The gentleman who served us was fantastic every single time. Charisma in bucketloads- he really made my children feel special. The woman behind the counter was lovely too. The food was nice- but it was their consistently amazing service that really won me over. Beyond impressed 👌

The friendly hosts seated us with a table for our party of 6 with a minor wait. The food took some time to arrive - around 45 minutes after ordering but our expectations had been tempered by earlier reviews often warning about delays. Still a bit disappointing, since our order wasn't complicated - 2x Reubens, 2x kids chips and hot dog/nuggets and 2x cabinet slices - and there was at least one table who had arrived after us that received their meals before ours came out. Worse yet, the kids meals came out last (although they were unusually patient for their food). The most redeeming quality was that the food was pretty good and we're looking forward to trying some of the other items on the menu next time we visit.

Always great service, would recommend the pancake Sundays when they are on and are a lot of fun to do with friends. Their mega milkshakes are a blast and a challenge! Well worth the money. Remember to book ahead to make sure you get a table, say hi to Michael if you get a chance.

Was at Buzz last night and got a steak. For the first time ever since moving to Wellington I ordered a rear steak and it was perfect, delicious and melted in my mouth. So far this is the only place in Wellington I have found that is capable of cooking a steak to order and I have been here 6 years. So 100% 5/5 stars. Thanks Buzz

Have been to buzz many times and on the whole I enjoy it. I went their yesterday and was slightly disappointed that baked beans had been removed from the buzzer breakfast. I got the chicken burger and was pretty disappointed with it, it had a gross amount of raw red onion in it to the point I had to pick it out as it was all you could taste. It advised it was a buttermilk chicken burger so i didnt expect tiny peices of popcorn like chicken in it making them fall out everytime you tried to eat it. The spices in the coating were also not very pleasant. My friends eggs bene was delicious so I think they still have breakfast sorted but wouldn't ever order the chicken burger again unless some major changes were made to it.

Rushed in today for a takeaway mocha just as the daily freshly baked date scones were placed on the counter. Bought one. My god, I would run a marathon for another. By far the best date scones ever. The food they have very good burgurs and a large overall menu. The kids meal comes with the normal fish and chips hotdogs pancakes but with a kiwi twist

Used to love stopping in on them at Queensgate, kind of feel like they're going back to their roots as a restaurant, coffee is always good, food is so-so, don't think I'd personally be going back, as it was more about convenience of location previously.
