V.Had a delicious breakfast here yesterday. The potato cakes are amazing! Hubby had the corn fritters which he really enjoyed.
They were a little short staffed, but were still pleasant & efficient.
Coffee was good, altho his large cappuccino was in a bigger cup than my large latte 🤷♀️ but still a good brew!
J.Great little cafe. I've been here a few times, and every time the food has been great, the staff always lovely, and the coffee well made. It's also got a quaint little outdoor seating area at the back, perfect for a summer breakfast (I recommend the toasted muesli). Definitely give this place a go
H.Nice wee cafe on Jackson St in Petone. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The main indoor area has a funky fig tree mural. The food is tasty and quite reasonably priced. They provide a good range of food including gluten free and vegetarian friendly options. As well as the food they have on display, they also have hot food and drinks that can be ordered off their menu. The service was good, although their were some minor communication issues. The venue was very popular, a good sign. I would go there again.

G.Went for lunch at 3pm. There was still sufficient food in the cabinet. I had the gf salmon and cream cheese rosti, which was tasty and filling. My husband had one of the pies which was full of meat and gravy. He was pleased with it. Good value for $$. Friendly professional staff. Unfortunately there were 3 tables of people who thought they were above wearing masks at Delta level 2. That was disappointing.

T.Had a good deal on coffee and a friand for $8.00, however was disappointed the sausage roll was burnt, I couldn't eat it. The music doesn't need to be so loud

N.We visited on a Sunday at 11am for brunch. Our table ordered the Vegetarian Nachos, Potato Cake and Chicken burger. I had the burger, and while the fillet was grilled, it did not taste fresh, but it was filling and sustained me till dinner. My coffee did not disappoint (had a flatwhite) and drinks order and food came out pretty quickly. Tropical smoothie was not cold and on the sweet side. Staff were very friendly however. If I could give a 3.5 star rating I would.

A.I have been there twice now and both times I was impressed. Food so yum and reasonably price. Very friendly service they greeted us with a smile from the moment we came in the door. When we came in yesterday it was a yucky windy day but the cafe was warm and cozy. The other time we came in was during summer and we sat out the back on their cute courtyard.

T.We came across this place as a result of disappointment from another cafe. As soon as you walk in it feels light and relaxed. You are acknowledged by staff even if they are busy making coffees and serving food. Once you order and find your seat your food is served within 15_20 minutes, the staff are so accommodating and helpful the food is fantastic (my husband and I both had the big brekky- not sure if that's what is called) it was perfect portions and cooked to perfection. Definetly a go to place for me!!

J.A good a la carte menu, and generally good cabinet food. The odd cake is sometimes dry, but usually pretty good. However, the coffee has somewhat gone downhill since changing to their new blend. Otherwise, a nice place to catch up for lunch or brunch.

O.Amazing food, quite affordable. Popped in for brunch a couple of weeks ago, was spoilt for choice. Came back to try other options and was pleasantly surprised. Eggs Benedict, Salmon Bagel, and Potato Feta Cakes are to die for. The baked lemon cheesecake is huge and delicious, along the with vast selection of other cakes. The Cafe is always busy, right from opening, so make sure to get in fast! It will be worth your while :) Thank you Figg!!
P.There were 4 in our group including my 3 year old granddaughter. We received stunning service from all of the staff we encountered. I had a delicious veg dish and we shared a piece of choc cake. On leaving my granddaughter accidentally spilt her drink on the floor, the young man behind the counter rushed over to help clean up and gave the 3 year old a choc fish. Would come back in a heartbeat.

G.Tough competition in petone for good cafes but cafe Figg tends to hold its own. Good coffee and friendly service. Great place to grab a newspaper and enjoy brunch in the sun. Menu is pretty much standard fare but reasonably well cooked. Bacon was a little non-crispy and too fatty for my preference. Would go back though
S.Heartwarming customer service, genuinely positive, friendly and lovely. Staff were delighted to offer gluten free, vegetarian, vegan options. Delicious eggs benedict for me and M enjoyed his vegan burger, both ample plate ups. A good selection of magazines & Phantombillstickers cafe reads is well well worth diving into. Music was refreshingly not-pop and a comfortable conversational level. They have a meal card! We’ll definitely be back.

Would prefer the back area didn't have smoking because it just can't be contained to the one area and it spoils a meal to have to breathe in 2nd hand smoke

N.Cafe Figg is an absolute must if you're on the hunt in petone for a cafe with yummy food! I've been there several times now and always enjoy the food as well as the great service. They have lots of options if you're needing to take something away as well as a brunch and lunch menu full of deliciousness!

A.There's a covered back yard with plexiglas roof, which is great on a warm but rainy day. Ok coffee. And very very nice apple strudel and baked cheesecakes - very european style, rich in flavour and not over-the-top sweet - loved it.
