A mix of traditional fare such as eggs on toast etc with amazing Vietnamese food. Both parts of the menu are prepared with equal care, and equal generosity - portions are big. The Vietnamese food is as good as I've had anywhere (so are the breakfasts) and there's a wide range of cabinet food, including hot items such as macaroni cheese and pies. Something for everyone, with unfailing cheerful and polite service. It's a regular haunt for me, highly recommended.

Theeeee best Full English Breakfast I've had in Wellington so far. Will definitely be back again! The Vietnamese Coffee was A1 👌🏾 The customer service is amazing! The ambience is super chill. Would recommend to anyone.

Hestia Cafe is my wife and I's favourite place to eat. There's a huge variety of food but you are honestly missing out if you don't try their Vietnamese menu which is probably the best Vietnamese food in Wellington (especially when the usual chef is on duty). We especially recommend the Bún bò Huế!

This is one of the best cafes I came across in Petone. They serve a decent breakfast for under $20. The staff are very friendly and provide a great service. But the best part is the coffee...you have to try it to see what I mean.

This was my go-to Pie Spot in petone during my lunch breaks for the half year I worked there. I sampled pies from 6 cafes on Jackson Street, Hands down the best tucker for a quick lunch from here.

Lovely breakfast, great value for money They make a good pot of tea, hard to get these days.

Friendly service and staff. Good food selection as well as coffee. Accessible by public transport, as bus stops are nearby. If you like Vietnamese food, then they serve that too, as it's their specialty. Pies, cakes as well as sandwiches and filled rolls available too.

Have been going to hestia regularly for some time. They do a fantastic full English breakfast. The big breakfast is massive, can't go wrong.

Great place to eat breakfast. Great food. Great friendly hosts. And the best cup of hot tea around. Enjoy visiting you for breakdfast.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is delicious (a good selection of cabinet food or menu), but it is quite dim inside with the black tables, dark green walls and low lighting.

Modest decor but delicious food. Mixture of Vietnamese and Kiwi Cafe food. Highly recommend the spicy beef noodle soup. Absolutely delicious

My partner and I love to travel from the city to petone just for this cute cafe! We have always received great service and even better food. I can 100% vouch for the Eggs Benedict great portion for the price, always cooked to perfection. I just wish they had more comfortable seating. Always a great go to.

I've had twenty or thirty coffees or meals at Hestia and I've never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, the service prompt. There are many cabinet food options, and the value for money is incomparable — a 'small' portion for $6 for lunch is all you need. In Wellington you wouldn't find such value for $8 or even $10. Yesterday a friend and I had a traditional Vietnamese dish for lunch and it was authentic and superb — tasty, fresh ingredients and just the right level of spicy. I thoroughly recommend Hestia.

Their meaty, steak pies will please many Nans (this is a compliment as Nans usually make great pies)...even Harry's! Find also other Western bakery food and buffet (pasta, etc.) on offer as well as cafe fare and drinks. As for their Asian menu they offer a small list of dishes one of which is "wonton noodle soup", which was cooked and presented beautifully, and did the chef credit. Not knowing what to expect from this fusion of Vietnamese Bakery-cum-Asian Restaurant, I found my impromptu culinary visit to be a pleasant surprise! The bonus here is you can have your noodles and coffee too, conveniently all under one roof.

Is ok but they open the 2 sliding doors and everyone walking on the street basically can watch you eating, im one of the few people in the universe who doesnt need or want to sit on the footpath while eating a meal how bizzare ! They play wierd music too and to load.

Meals tasted good hash browns were perfect, coffee was good lots of variety, staff friendly and accommodating, however slow to get drinks and meals out, the chair's were uncomfortable eggs undercooked and salmon very salty also there were a lot of flies in the shop, issues easily remidied will visit again.
