Food first: Good. Her entrée was met with much praise and her lamb shank main was equally pleasing. My squid rings were cut so thinly they were more squid chips, and together with the miserly amount of sauce they weren’t great. It reeked of ‘how can we maximise profit with this dish?’ The fish and chips for mains were okay – did what it said on the box and at $24.00 was reasonable for the cost, though again we’re clearly saving money on the sauces.
Service: The service staff are trying and seem enthusiastic, however they are desperately needing some formal training. This seems to be covered in previous reviews too. It took too long to have drink and food order taken. The person that took our food order was impossible to understand – between the very strong accent, muffled voice behind the mask and the noise of the café I had no idea what he was saying, though I did hear ‘coffee’. Why he said coffee I’ll never know and I wasn’t asking.
Later I asked for a fork as I had used it for my entrée, and we got a fork and three knives. For two of us. When all we needed was a fork. 30 seconds later a staffer whizzing by with a plate of food threw a paper napkin on the table.
Finesse. This place needs finesse. The food is okay, and the staff seem keen. Just needs some professionalism to bring it up to par.

Location is 5/5 and bathed in morning sunlight, perfect for a winter’s morning. Staff were friendly enough but they weren’t proactive at removing old dishes from tables, so new customers had to push them aside. Eggs came out incorrectly initially but the chef fixed them up; no salt, pepper or butter offered though. Green smoothie was not nice, hardly any greens and mostly just banana and sweetened almond milk.

Decent food let down a bit by service. We ordered two drinks when we arrived and it got forgotten. When we ordered our food we asked if the drinks were coming, and they said they had forgotten to put them through. When our food arrived we asked if the drinks were coming too and they had forgotten them again. They weren't overly busy either. Mac Daddy burger is huge and decent value for the price, though the patties didn't taste overly "home made". Nice location though with a great view and plenty of space for large or small groups.

Beautiful location, looking out to Days Bay and the wharf. I'm always at the beach swimming and jumping off the wharf and I always see how busy this place is, but never felt like i wanted to check it out!
Anywho, had lunch with my friend (our first time) and we got the seafood chowder and eggs benny. The seafood chowder ($20) was an average "ok" nothing mind blowing or amazing in taste. There was one mussel, one scallop, few pieces of fish and a few squid rings with a buttered slice of french stick. The eggs benny ($18), my friend said she's had better and it was "mehh average". Service was great, nice looking place, lots of choices and it wasn't too busy.
Well now I can say that I've been inside and had a meal!

Good place if to eat if you are in Eastbourne.
Good food good service and the drinks are quite good. I came here with my dad we ordered fish and chips and a bacon butty and they were both very good. But the silverware was hot and hard to hold and the waiter walked right past me and my dads table and forgot I silverware once other than that it's a great cafe.

It's been a while since we lasted dines here, food was great however the ambience has definatley changed. We felt over dressed for what was a five star dining experience, alas no longer. The staff were in jeans and sweatshirts relegating this establishment now to a normal (not special occasion) restaurant.

Okay service.... good food. Will go back to try other things.

We came to this restaurant for lunch on a hot, summer day with the beach across the road full of people. Parking is pretty much premium and hard to find. We were lucky enough to get a table for 3 at the restaurant. Food was great and we ordered pork belly gao buns (3pcs per order), waffle and crunchy chicken, and mushroom salad with bread and soup. Price was not even that expensive and service was fine. We will definitely come back again.

Just spent a really nice evening here having dinner with the family. Nice to be able to sit outside in the sun & listen to the sound of families having fun on the beach.
Lovely delicious food with generous portions. Planning on going back.
