m.What an amazing find in the most unlikely place! Visiting from Melbourne and after a google check in looking for good coffee stopped in for a flat white and a hot chocolate for my daughter.
BEST coffee so far in Wellington (better than Melbourne too!) and delicious cheese scone served by friendly welcoming staff.
N.Great local cafe. Toys and colouring for the kids, coffee for the parents! The scones are tasty as. The staff are super friendly, making us feel so welcome every time we visit.
P.I love Trade School Kitchen! My parents offered to take me out for lunch for for my 40th birthday. I could have chosen anywhere, I chose TSK. It has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, and top notch coffee. The cheese scones are so good that my 3 year old stayed seated at the table for far longer than I expected!
If you haven’t been, you should definitely check it out.

M.My wife takes me here for coffee although I much prefer the food which has been excellent in 2021.
Today, I was surprised by the poached eggs on toasted sourdough topped with fresh basil leaves and tomato relish.
My thanks to TSK for so much pleasure from a $10 dish. And thanks to the cheerful staff who make the Covid restructions seem less onerous.
C.I had lunch here and was so impressed with the service and the food. I was made to feel welcome, the coffee was excellent and the food was fresh and a good sized serving. I also tried a tea made with kawakawa which was pretty cool - I've never seen that offered before. Definitely going to head back soon, cheers TSK!
B.Updated: our second visit was better than the first, and the sandwiches are better than the scones! The coffee was again superb. As for the staff? Still sharing smiles and providing a good service to their customers. Thanks for a wholesome delicious lunch!

C.Lovely warm and welcoming vibe at Trade School Kitchen. Lured by the new menu, almost chose Esther's spicy carrot pickle and beetroot hummus bagel, the minestrone soup... but served back to beautifully fried eggs on sourdough, with TSK relish, bacon and tomatoes... savoured my tall latte...
N.Friendly place, awesome service. Menu is very basic. Simple food done well. Pity its right where the Naenae smokers hangout.

A.Beautiful! We had poached eggs on toast, a pesto and halloumi muffin, two coffees and a massive slice of carrot cake. Everything was delicious! And the staff were amazing too. We had a really great time here today. Thank you Trade School Kitchen 😊

C.Took a group of eight here for lunch during a recent workshop i was hosting in Naenae, always a bit stressful being in charge of lunch decisions for people you don’t know but Esme looked after us really well, great food, options for all the dietary preferences and allergies and fantastic value for money. Will definitely be back!

S.Modern, fresh & clean cafe offering a good variety of tasty food. The corn fritters were very tasty served with fresh herb salad. Friendly staff & very good customer service. Nice to have a trendy cafe to go to in Naenae. Well done everyone involved. I'll be back!

G.A good little cafe doing good things in and with the community. The food is good, there people friendly and the atmosphere good. It can get pretty loud when it's full. Convenient and close to a lot of other shops. A great place to visit when you're going to the Saturday market.

E.Lovely atmosphere, excellent coffee and service. Had the chilli fried eggs with bacon, which was delicious. Maybe some butter or oil drizzled on the toast would make it perfect, as the dukka makes it a bit dry.
B.Trade School Kitchen is a suburban surprise and delight! Who knew you could get such great coffee this side of the Hutt. The team use excellent Peoples Coffee and always make my piccolo to perfection. The scones are lovely and the halloumi sandwich is delicious. And to top it all off the ladies who run the joint are top-notch when it comes to hospitality; they're super friendly and remembered my name and that I had just moved into the neighbourhood. 5 stars all round. TSK is my new go-to!

D.Glad Naenae has a spot like this! Peoples coffee - although mine burnt my tongue 🙁 not ok guys - c'mon! The savoury muffin was bloody beautiful. Counter food looks really good - definitely gives anything in the city a run fornits money (with the milk a bit cooler that is...!) :-) Thanks guys!
