R.We went there twice on Saturdays when we were visiting Lower Hutt. It was lovely modern setting. Free soda water is nice. Service is very friendly. The cooked meals are delicious. Coffee is strong but not bitter. We enjoyed smashed avocado on sourdough, beetroot pickle on sourdough, and spinach omelette. However, the portions are small compared to other cafes. For example, it comes with one piece of sourdough or one egg, unless you ask to add on more.

The staff are some of the nicest hospo people I've ever dealt with. Everyone in there is so lovely and good for a friendly chat. It's so refreshing that they're not just there to take your order and move you along, they're keen to engage.
