M.I often stop in here after walking my dog at the beach. Fish and chips always fresh and tasty, burgers are great and if you're lucky they'll have some fried bread - it sells out quickly apparently, im not surprised.. yum!

e.Definitely recommend you won’t be disappointed me & my partners order is always a scoop of chips & two snappers & my goodness there snapper is to die for everything gets cooked perfectly it melts in your mouth. I do recommend getting a snapper for sure LOVE LOVE LOVE 💛

R.Such a nice place to stop at.Fat icey drink for the kids and really nice fish bites. The ladies on the counter are really knowledgeable about maketu and who doesn't love to sit in the courtyard and eat ice cream after a swim. Did I mention homemade fry bread my bad.

T.Delicious Chips! Never disappoint me whenever I see a Mr. Chips signboard outside a takeaway shop. The owner is generous too, offer me free bread (just made it on the day) from nearby supermarket. Will visit again and have the takeaway while enjoying sunset view at Maketu Beach
