L.One of our favourites! Always such amazing food, service and coffee! We love how passionate you guys are about your coffee, beans, the process and making your own milks! Bulletproof is absolutely perfect! Breakfast, cocktails and dinner are wonderful! And the take away options are great too! Definitely a must if you head up to Mangawhai Heads 😍

T.A great spot for delicious nutritious food and drinks made from top quality ingredients with lots of vegan, gluten free and keto options. Everything I tried was really tasty so you never have to feel like you're sacrificing good taste for your diet. Lots of creative unusual options on the menu, plus old favorites that will please everyone. Service was not the best when I was there but to be fair it was Queens Birthday weekend and they were really busy. Went back for dinner a few days later and had a lovely chat with the owners before they closed. They're lovely people with a passion for quality local products. Wish there were more cafes like this one and hope to visit again soon!
D.The vibe of this place is amazing. It's very chill and there a few tables in this patio which is nice during sunny days. If you want shade they also have a few tables indoors.
You can find fresh healthy and very tasty food here as well as the more traditional cafe food. Coffee was good.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
It's a popular place so keep in mind there could be some waiting time at peak hours specially during long weekends.
L.We came here to celebrate our engagement (so imagine how excited we were) for a dinner or nibbles.
It was 5.20pm and there. You are only allowed to order appetitesers before 5.30pm, after that you can also order the Small plates (didn't get it).
I felt celebrational, so got a cocktail for $18 (Elderflower martini). My cocktail was literally half full Martini glass (photo). It is more expensive than in fancy Auckland bars. Why? The other cocktails are full size for same price. I drank mine it in two sips (hahah).
Fried chicken ($12) was good and bread as well. We didn't wait to order the actual Small plates as I was too annoyed with spending $18 for just two sips.
M.Brewed As is my absolute favourite place in Mangawhai. As someone with dietary requirements, it's great going somewhere where I know I'll have plenty of options. The coffee is delicious and the front of house staff are knowledgeable about their menu. Bulletproof coffee with cacao butter is absolutely heavenly! Great atmosphere too, I'm very content o spend a few hours eating, people watching and reading. Can't wait to come back!
T.We had lunch here. It was quite busy, the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were super. Great menu.
N.Saturday night at Brewed As. Salsa music playing , people dancing, friends and started with a delicious Bloody Mary. The food was terrific. The dancing was fun
Finished with a coconut Panna Cotta.
