Reviews of Madisons Cafe and Bar
M.A recently located café/bar in a new building in First street Masterton. Light and bright. Displaying a near all white colour scheme. A small selection of cabinet food, although a menu is available. Coffee was good and hot. Reasonable prices. Plenty of parking, and outside seating to soak up the sun.
G.Sunday lunch of pancakes for me and and breakfast for the wife. Nice food well presented and good service. Reasonable price and a great atmosphere.
R.We ordered a large flat white to share. We asked the girl if their coffee is on the strong side or not, as we cannot handle very strong coffee. She wasn't sure. But she came back with one large coffee, a small glass of hot milk, and an extra cup. How considerate! We then ordered a beef burger and Croque Monsieur. The beef patty was very yummy but the top bun quite dry. They are generous with the cheese and ham in the Croque Monsieur, and the taste was very nice. Overall, it was delightful meal and great service.
S.Had a mix of beef and vegetables nachos for lunch with an iced coffee. Both were superb. Will be back! Good, friendly service too

Good coffee. Decent selection of all beverages. Enjoyed the beef burger and it was nice and cool on a hot day.
V.Happen to eat there 2 days in row. There was 4 of us. Busier the 2nd day but we got our meals just as quick. I enjoyed both meals Vege Nachos and Croque Monster. Both quite filling. Good coffee. Very reasonably priced. Recommend

T.Very quiet. High winds and Covid must have kept other people at home. Service wasn't any faster, and staff standing around leaning on the counter doing nothing not a good look. Especially when there were leaves everywhere to be swept up. We would have had a cake if someone had come to ask.
D.On the recommendation of our Daughter & her Partner we have dined at Madison's on several occasions for both lunch & dinner. Awesome food and great service - Thanks team!
