A.Service was okay. Great location and good amount of parking. There are no smoothies, milkshakes or cold juice... Only seem to serve coffee and alcohol. On a summer day, you want a cold drink rather than a hot one.
Food was average. Club sandwich sounded great but when received, it was average with little meat and poor bread.
M.Neat cafe with plenty of seating indoors as well as outdoors with a pretty garden area and a walkway towards Matakana markets. I enjoyed my stay and the kumara chips were lovely (see picture), if not a tad overpriced at $16... I couldn't see any regular potato options which is a shame. The rest of the menu and the bread looks interesting -- would come back to try more :)
D.Came here on a long weekend therefore it’s not gonna reflect their daily business. Everything was sold out but I don’t blame them. Despite long weekend, the service and food was still good. It is definitely a place for families so do expect noise and movements. But they got a big garden and would be nice on a sunny day.
J.We really enjoyed dining here. We ate in for breakfast after seeing the Matakana markets and we were very impressed! Friendly staff and delicious meals 😊 Love the addition of having pork belly with the eggs benedict and the use of local ingredients. Can't wait to try the pastries next time-they looked amazing
R.Food was nice I feel that the creamy mushrooms would have worked better with the pasta. I did not like the bread it was served with. And the coffee was burnt. Staff were lovely and location was great. Love the different cornice in each section.
T.My first visit to Matakana and I'm so glad this was my first stop. Me and my sister shared an eggs bene and regretted later why we each didn't order our own. It was beautiful. The hollandaise tasted homemade and it came on the side. The ambience is great boasting a large courtyard and peaceful atmosphere. Sadly, the bakery next door was closed but would have loved to seen what the ugh could conjure up. Already have plans to enjoy this delightful cafe on the weekend. Thank you for existing!
A.Back for a second time. Cool day, unlike the warmth inside this cafe. Eggs Benedict excellent, large flat white fresh and satisfying. Nice ambience inside and service prompt and efficient. This is a top notch cafe and a true New Zealand experience. You, like me, will be back!

It appeals to me more than the Matakana Market (sorry:-( ), so often sit here while others check out the market.

Both my parents meals came out missing bacon but when the manager was made aware he not only bought out 2 plates of bacon but also a free coffee for my mum!!! Very good service and a great morning had

V.Right from location to parking, food and coffee this cafe offers great experience. We ordered Eggs Benedict and Omelette. Both dishes were made to perfection. The Malay host( must be the manager) came twice to ask us about food and later if we needed anything. We were impressed because normally it’s not a cafe culture. Coffee was nice. There were some sourdough and French breads on shelves. Don’t forget to buy if they sell it because the bread with our eggs were really soft, chewy and full of flavour. Enjoy your time at Plume next time you are in Matakana!

A.We found Plume Café while travelling to Whangaparaora. The atmosphere here is really nice and the staff is friendly and welcoming. We had a cappuccino and a cake that was delicious. Definitely recommended for a cozy stop!

z.The crispy chicken burger was so delicious and so fresh! The Kumar chips were first class. The outside garden at the back is well designed. Lovely to have lunch in the garden. Will definitely go again when we head that way 🙂

C.Had brunch yesterday. They opened at 8.30 and was a stampede into the cafe. Alot of customers buying the bread and pastries baked on site. We also bought some to take home and they were delicious. The breakfast was yummy and I couldn't finish it as there was so much. Oddly they had chips on the dish rather than hash brown. Lots of busy and obliging staff who had a small counter to deal with meal sales as well as baking sales and takeaway coffees. They did an excellent job.

M.We wanted a change from Matakana Market Kitchen so tried them. Ordered big breakfast. Eggs were ok, horribly oily wedges and extremely salty sausages. Overall not good experience. Service was top notch and we appreciate that. Wont be going again.

I stand corrected, apparently "enough signs put up" although I never saw one.....other than because of covid19 I find it very strange...As someone that has brunch on a fairly regular basis , this is a first!

C.After feeling a little let down by the markets and with a screaming hungry tot in hand we stumbled across Plume cafe. It was Easter weekend and the cafe was extremely busy. Service was quick. Atmosphere was lovely and my French Toast was hands down the best I ever had!
M.Great space outside, sit in the sun or relax in the shade. Food A+, and the coffee (I'm told) is great. Highly recommend the walk from the back of the cafe along the rivet, under the bridge and across town (safer than crossing the road)

B.All the staff must have thought that the others had cleaned the toilet. It was quiet so got served reasonably promptly. Our visit was stop over on way to sawmill brewery. Waiting for opening... Will give another go for brunch sometime.
R.2 of our meals really nice and 2 were very average. Disappointing to sit a a dirty table and we noticed none of the others were cleaned while we were there. It wasn't a very day. Nice decor and ambiance with easy parking
l.What can I say here, hmmm absolutely delicious, had the creamy garlic mushrooms. Total delight, possibly the yummiest mushrooms I've had to date.
Beautiful atmosphere and a cafe with there own bakery .. if you are going past do not pass up the opportunity to try this place!! 10/10!!

A.Tables were in need of a wipe, were left uncleared making it a hard choice of where to sit. Food was lovely and ample serving size, staff were friendly.
N.We had an excellent breakfast today. My son in law joked that the omelette seemed to include about 10 eggs!

B.Plume Cafe is always performing. At least once a week I buy their artisan bread for my guests coming into my accommodation. They really appreciate it.
And I also have my daily coffee r the same time.

T.This cafe has really nice enviroment, lovely garden. But the food is just average. It takes about 40mins to get food. The bread in both big breakfast and sandwich are burnt. The beef salad should be named stirfry beef.

J.The café in the middle of Matakana village is a perfect spot and plenty of parking. Loads of seating inside and out and I can imagine very popular during the summer. I had the omlette which was very tasty and filling.
