Ordered bacon, eggs, mushrooms 🍄toast and coffee ☕ for breakfast @ $16.00. Regualar prices. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and coffee was great. Located on the main st in Matamata with ample parking available if towns not too busy (it always is) Lots of seating inside and out. Adjoined bakery, same owner. Usual bakery food

This is our regular place to stop for a break and a good refreshing drink. The food is good value and fresh. The bogged are always nice and strong and hot, which keeps my wife happy. The milk shakes are flavourful and thick, which keeps me happy. Thanks Ronnie's.

This Bakery is HUGE 😍, has to be Matamata's best little secret gem for sure. Such a great old town feel once you walk inside. Great sandwiches, fried food was on point, the milkshakes I saw others having looked oh so good. I can't wait to be passing through Matamata again and stop here.

Ronnies Cafe, is a nice place to stop in to, as part of a trip to, or through Matamata. You have a wide selection of food, ready to eat and also you can order a meal to be cooked for you. The Café is split into two sections, the servery and the dine-in area with the checkout area in between, offering a flowing feel to the customer. The efficient staff offer healthy food options, as well as the scrumptious variety of cakes and slices. I loved the pie, sandwich and caramel slice, on my visit. With a wide selection of cold beverages and also coffee or tea, it offers the full experience any customer would need.

It is a nice place and friendly. Meals are good and make excellent coffee. It usually looks clean and have a good variety of food. Custard tart is very yummy. Overall, the place is very recommended.

Clean shop, Lots of food to choose from, and lots of seating. All looked good, but bought three item's, all so greasy two went into the bin after one bite. If you buy fried stuff, be carful.

Mince on toast with a couple of eggs.. What can i say?!! I am a fan of mince and the savoury mince here was delicious... Unexpectedly delicious. Just like mum use to make... Ronnies is consistant quality all round meals, sandwiches, slices, savoury items and the coffee. Warm and friendly service. Great for families and anyone who likes good value for money.

Something for everyone here. Massive sweet and savoury selection. 6 of us, lots of different food and everyone liked what they had. Ham and egg sandwiches were particularly good. Chicken and kumera filo was amazing. Couple of rocky roads to go. Dad didn't get any of that. Girls demolished them.

Definitely spoilt for choice. Mince and Cheese pie is pretty good. The sausage roll is kind of weird as it had half meat and half mashed potatoes. Filling, but weird. First of its kind for me. I am keen on trying your fried chicken wings. They look like they're crispy and tasty. We will see.

Take a step back in time to the 80s. Pies, fries, filled rolls and all those retro sweet goodies. Friendly and efficient. Maybe don't go to the loos if you don't have to. Some things are better in the 21st century.
