A.Adoro Cafe is a great spot to stop for a coffee or bite to eat. Take in the atmosphere and be whisked away to an italian styled patisserie and coffee shop. The coffee is great and the food fabulous. Centrally located in central Napier its a place worth visiting more than once.
C.I have been coming to Adoro now since a few years before the new incumbent owners took the reins. They've weathered the covid storms exceptionally well, and from what I see, look after both their staff and customers so well, I felt it was time to write and say so.
The staff will always spend their time to chat and make you feel so welcome, and in fact, are encouraged to do so by the owners. Although I go to other places in my daily travels, this is now my favourite coffee shop by a long way.
My coffee is always spot-on, I often have a sandwich and/or something sweet for my daughter, and the quality has never failed. I've always been impressed by the little things they do and the menu they maintain.
Well done Adoro and thank you for improving on what was already a great place to go.

c.I had the ham and cheese panni . Very nice. My coffee arrived quite a while after I had finished my lunch which was a shame. Seating outside as well as in. Not too bad range of food.

J.The owners of this business convey pride and passion in what they do... It shows! Many of the staff have picked up the vibe, resulting in a good experience. Add in an interesting setting (Napier's old Central Post Office), a comprehensive selection of tasty dishes, generous servings, and I can't think of a reason not to recommend this cafe. 👍

M.Like this cafe - former post office wish we had one of those in Napier. Good food well priced nice efficient staff. The lay-out is nice the acoustics abominable but if you czn put up with that it's a great place to go to.

D.WOW went for lunch here today after being told from people that this place was good. Well blow me down it was very busy but got a table rather easily (being on crutches helps)😁 I had myself bacon eggs Benedict and boy I didn't mind the wait it was to die for. I had a cappuccino which I love and I'll tell you I had to go back for a second cup I don't often do that. All of the staff were great but Ellen went that extra mile for us. Thanks very much 👍👍👍👍👍 I will be back again
C.Coffee cold... Much like the service. Food okay. Pancakes with banana and fruit jam was dry... Could have used cream or a syrup 😘(or something!) eggs a bit overcooked.

D.Best cafe I've visited in more than one way. Service was not just good service, it was brilliant. Chat from front of house and everyone working there had a smile on their face and you could see it was genuine. As for the food, slow cooked beef cheeks for breakfast! was one my husband would return to every weekend if we lived in Napier! We bought our lunch to take away with us too. Chicken, bacon, leek pie and a quiche, both amazing. the quiche was light, peppery and soooo tasty. I cant go without mentioning the coffee. Long blacks like they should be and the best I've had in the city. We will be back
r.EXEPTIONAL patisserie, the best in town for sure, and I know what I am talking about. The rest is OK, you guys can go closed eyes. The owner Paul talk a lot while making cofee but he is OK too. ;)
K.The staff really take care of their customers here. Kids are catered for. They were really busy but still had a table for our party of 6. Lots of little added extras that just make the visit a pleasure.
S.4 ladies in for coffee. Coffee was excellent. The best in Napier (we had tried 4 places in two days). It was so good we went back again for second coffee & got such a personal welcome - the barista remembered our names! The Brioche was perfect. Thanks.
A.Absolutely gorgeous lunch!... I ended up getting the pictured BLT with added chicken sandwich and chips.
The sandwich was perfect, soft but crispy bread, juicy chicken and bacon (both really flavoursome) and the chips were perfect!... Soft and really fluffy, loved it.
The aoili sauce was fantastic and super garlicy (Perfect).
Staff were also incredibly friendly and the place felt very homely.
Would highly recommend this place for lunch
S.We went here for a quick brekky, didnt expect much. Service was lovely, when the lady saw we had our 3month old, she came over and told us of the change table in the toilets. 👍👍👍 It was actually a proper change table, so not just a hard surface to plonk your baby on. Food was good, caramel slice was yummo!
S.Never had beef cheeks for breakfast but they were fabulous and the gluten free toast is really good. Great coffee and friendly staff.

S.The food here is fantastic, Staff mentioned all food other than the savory's are made on the premises this included GF options. The customer service was excellent, Staff did a great job in cleaning tables and providing extra seating when required, considering it was one of the busiest day of the year. The day was hot & busy but the cafe stall manage d to provided free water with large cups for customers, this was greatly appreciated. Thanks !

G.OMG I love this place. This was the first time visit. My wife and I went here on Saturday 20th July. I had an awesome breakfast with a hot chocolate, my normal, and the wife had Eggs Bene and a Cappuccino. YUMMY ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We had a little wait ,but they were busy. Well worth the wait. Great food awesome staff reasonably priced. Special thanks to Ellen for your awesome help and service. Staff like you make for GREAT service. Keep up your good work. WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE.
