Absolutely amazing welcome. The staff vibe an awesome energy. To me, it's all about that first contact with the staff, because most cafes offer the same stuff, the welcome is the point of difference. Great atmosphere, well located, ventilated and well lit with radiant sunlight. Simple and effective front of house layout that was clean and tidy. Nice visit. See you again!!

I had eggs bene with a side of creamy mushrooms.. perfectly poached eggs, lovely tasty meal. The coffee was great, hot and strong, just as I like it. Service was amazing, the girls went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and checked that I was happy with my meal. Definitely recommend them if you're looking for something fresh and different to eat..

Love the food here but could do with a big juicy cake to buy.... sometimes a girl just wants cake! Not a slice... not a scone... not a muffin.. JUST CAKE!

Went here for lunch on Wednesday 22 September. I had creamy mushrooms on toast with bacon and boy it was absolutely delicious. To drink I had a cappuccino and of course being Bay Espresso it was yummy as I new it would be. The girls were really friendly and happy to have a good laugh with you. Keep it up girls you made my visit.

I frequent Bay Espresso for takeaway coffees and work meetings. The girls behind the counter are just so friendly and welcoming ❤ their service is excellent and they manage the busy periods with such ease as it is a very busy spot! Great coffee and awesome cabinet food. The menu is excellent too. Great spot for a quick catch up or for breakfast and lunch meets.

The cafe is a nice space for relaxing, the artwork is colourful and the lighting creative. There are lots of spaces, inside and out to chill, and there is a good looking array of healthy eating options with lots of GF and DF versions available. This cafe has a very good rep for coffee, which we probably should have ordered instead of the berry smoothies, as unfortunately, they weren’t great. They lacked flavour, and were topped up by adding milk after the blending process to fill the takeaway cups, which only thinned down the smoothie even more. The savoury kumara and bacon bake was delicious, and the carrot and quinoa salad was pretty good, but lacked some punchy flavour. The cauliflower and bacon bomb had a gluey sort of texture, which was rather off putting. Overall, a fairly disappointing visit to a cafe with a solid standing. Hopefully a return visit sometime will prove to be better.

The wife and I went here on 22nd September for lunch. I had their big breakfast, minus the onion rings. I ordered a hot chocolate. Although they made the wrong drink to start the staff rectified the problem promptly. GIRLS thank you for the awesome service and friendly banter. And CHEF your a HARD CASE. As someone who travels a bit, I judge a place by the Eggs Benedict they serve and this place has some of the best Eggs Benedicts I've ever had. The eggs are ALWAYS beautifully poached and that is a rare thing. My compliments to the Chef.

I detest heaps of flies in cafe's. Early morning stop for breakfast and coffee, no coffee vouchers freely given. Breakfast was ok, nothing outstanding. Again, all cafe's and restaurants have one chance to win new customers and this store needs to up it's game in that regard. Hasn't done enough to make me go back in a hurry.

Tasty, fresh food delivered in a timely manner. However if you want a hot drink to have after your meal then I suggest you ask for it to come out after your meal otherwise it gets delivered before your meal. :/

Very cosy little spot... Loved the pesto with the mushrooms and bacon... (@#$!, I hate these autocorrecting keyboards that override your spelling... took me 5 tries to spell cosy correctly... it kept replacing cosy with cost... 😶) Still a nice cosy and friendly place for a quiet cup of tea and a crossword.
