What a lovely little town with all the history on sign boards on buildings and the old buildings are in really good condition

Coffee was great. I had a half strength large coffee but will be requesting normal strength from now on as they don't over extract the beans here. The decor was interesting.

Menu was small but had something for everyone. From omelettes to gourmet toasties. A lovely beef and bacon burger was our choice. Fresh fillings and tasty.Tea for two was hot and fresh. I had the lemon cake which was yummy but then I tried the raspberry and white chocolate slice my partner had. It was so scrummy I bought a slice to take home.

Beautiful cafe, good service, pick up a coffee card and ask for it to be stamped, for your free coffee, staff appear rather rushed, no smile, or pleasentries, we found the cards whilst waiting to pay and madam was not pleased when i asked her to stamp it. Cant take the heat.. Stay out of thr cafe i say.. Should work in starbucks then u would know what pressure is!

Excellent service from owner Sue, always friendly and helpful. Great food, especially her omelets and home made lemon cake. Highly recommended

The patient staff put up with a noisy, somewhat messy family lunch with good grace. The bacon and the GF chocolate brownie are highly recommended.
