Á.Best ice chilli chocolate I’ve tried in Nz. The only problem is that the shop is closed on Holidays. :(

S.Crunchy cheese scones, Coffee as per.. Too die for!!.. Due to COVID19 closures & staff changes a tricky start to my morning cafe & Dominion! But Andy & staff still have possibly Aotearoa's best coffee. So there pooie bear.!

L.The coffee here is freakin delicious. If all you’re keen for is a coffee and a nice nook to work, study, read, etc. then this place is perfect. Wouldn’t recommend if you fancy a place with proper breakfast. Only rating 4 stars because I was hoping for more eat options, but beyond happy with the coffee. They’re great at what they do here!

Kush has yet to catch the the 3rd wave of coffee. Was keen to get a bag of one of their many varieties of beans to try but weirdly, no roast date on any of the packets and no indication whether it's roasted light, medium or dark.
If coffees your thing, I mean these are the basics of roasting if you're wanting to market to people wanting to take home beans for V60, Chemex etc.
Would'nt have left a review but my piccolo was... well probably the worst I've had in over a year, far too much foam and really burnt.
Might have something to do with the really bellow par ginders they use. Invest in an auto-doser like a Mythos 1/2, Mazzer etc no chance of getting consistency with your espressos without knowing the weight in each basket like they're currently doing, just guessing by tap filling and scraping doesn't really cut it these days.
In all, I love the ethos behind the business they're going in the right track, I just think having a big claim about being "the best" but really lagging behind in regards to coffee leaves you pretty open to criticism from a barista of 6 years.

A.Great coffee and friendly staff. Space is Okay 😎 but somewhat noisy even if seated outside due to road proximity. I would choose them over some other cafes if only for their great consistency on good coffee.
D.Only had two coffees here. Both were very good. "Probably New Zealand's best coffee"? Certainly not their worst! Cute atmosphere, and nothing I could fault. Would happily come back here again for the black gold.

M.It’s true, this is the best coffee I’ve had in NZ in the five days I’ve been here. But my friend and I agreed it’s only 7/10 compared to Sydney standards. Oooh that’s right. I went there. 😂 It was nice, shame there aren’t more food options because it’s a good space.
M.Really excellent coffee! I had a large flat white, perfect latte art and extraordinary good taste! It is in the first place a location to drink tea or coffee, with little sweet snacks and cakes (I did not tried them)
m.Wow really good coffee, on top of many of those I've drunk in Wellington or Auckland. Perfect flat white, very smooth and strong. Would have got five stars if it were not for the impossibly hard oaty rhubarb slice.
D.Great coffee, fast efficient service - but superficially friendly...made for good quick service, but could have been friendlier...... food looked good - scone was smaller but nice n crispy on the outside. Standard fare.

It was a bit strange to see plunger coffee written on the overhead menu and then be looked at like I've got three heads and told they don't serve plunger coffee when I try to order it... Oh well - still worth stopping by if you need a coffee in Nelson.
L.I LOVE KUSH! The miagi with a side of rice milk is to die for. Great service and a really beautiful Cabinet full of delicious lunch and sweet options. The atmosphere and outdoor seating is beautiful as well.
N.Great place. Exactly what a cafe should be. Relaxed, wifi, cool staff, good coffee and great to bring the sketchbook and watercolors. I don't recommend the Golden Latte though. Doesn't seem to have any coffee. But normal coffee is good.

J.While visiting Nelson for a few days from the US, I kept finding myself going back to Kush. Great vibe, nice folks, and great coffee. A really pleasant place to sit and read or work.
M.Very stylish and friendly! It's very quirky to say the least. There is free WiFi but it's up to a limit of 50MB with an access code. This isn't really enough if you're hoping to do any more than check emails etc. If you have a laptop, it just isn't enough to do any work etc. I would have given this place more stars but they forgot our order and left us waiting 10 minutes before realising.
