Awesome portion sizes. EPIC vibes. Top tier experience every time. Great couches. Never feel unwelcome or judged. Pricing is reasonable and there’s an option for everyone. Great interior design and love the community noticeboard moment. If anything, could have a clearer or more concise menu and more vegan options. An absolute classic and I’ll be back.

Is a nice place with friendly staff but we wait around 1 hour for the food and 1/2 for the coffee.

Food was delicious and so was the coffee. Neat touch with the quotes hidden in the napkins. Great place if you're not hangry as food was very slow to come out.

Mixed reviews, I've had some really good food/coffee from Yaza, but I've also had some pretty poor food/coffee. Service is generally pretty good, although my last experience was poor. I would go back based on the good experiences I have had there, but would like to have better consistency.

Very busy cafe in the heart of Nelson with great customer service. Delicious iced coffee and choice of cabinet food as well as orders for the chef. Soup is piping hot on a cold winters day and if you order the nachos make sure to share as definitely enough for two. Gluten free and vegan choices available. Pricing on a par with other similar establishments. Outdoor and indoor seating, very popular with city workers.

This is one of the go to cafes in Nelson. Great coffee and the cheese scones are well sought after. On this visit i did notice they were less spicy than i had remembered. Service is average. People just doing their job and it shows. Still worth a look.

The homemade cheese scone was amazing, with the right amount of cheese and cayenne pepper 😋The super helpful young lady, Phonex is an asset to this place. She is helpful, friendly and kind. I was disappointed that Phonex had been told to charge me $4.40 for steaming my milk ~ I have allergies to lactose and soy, therefore drink lactose free milk steamed with 100% valaronia cocoa powder. I even supply my own sprinkle and keep cup. Most reasonable cafés charge for a fluffy, as I am eating there. I would rate the service and kindness of Phonex 5 but the bosses attitude minus 3. Sadly.

This cafe has a really great location as it is in central Nelson. The service was super friendly and quick which made it all the times I went a really pleasant experience. These guys make the best cheese scones I've ever had!! Nice little melted cheese pieces are inside and the cheese crust on the outside is perfectly crunchy. They offer great coffee and they also have a few vegan options.

I tested a few black coffees here and ate of of the mandatory cheese scones. Sensational all round. If you want to test the quality of the coffee beans and the process try your coffee black. You can't hide anything with a black coffee. Yaza is using Sublime coffee and Sublime it is. 5 stars all day long. Well done and thank you.

Consistently the very best cheese scones in town and pinwheels are delicious too! Coffe is great after I discovered that I need to ask for double shot in my late. Service usually funky and friendly. My fav spot for years on a Sunday avo. Thanks guys.

Great Menu with plenty of Options for gluten free, veggie and vegan too. The breakfasts are good Portions and the coffees are very well Done too. The juice bar serves some unbelievably good juice too - the hot honey lemon and ginger juice is awesome!!

Interesting looking cafe but the breakfast was not easy to eat, the focaccia bread didn't work with the rest of the meal and the fried potatoes were under cooked. Staff were quiet and did not greet or say good bye to patrons.

This was a very powerful Cafe. My Coffee was most excellent, it was made by a handsome young chap, with dashing long hair and beautiful brown eyes. The service was amazing, although i found the girl serving with red hair and purple eye brows ridiculous and confusing for my powerful brain.I do not have a scone preference and I am allergic to pancakes. The munchkin with pink hair was lovely and I tried to court her on a date, only to find she was an out and proud lesbian, celebrating the fact that gay marriage had been legalized that day. I did however notice the manager figure, which i assumed as she directed the staff with a pleasant tyranny, was giving me "the eye", this could of been to do my hot bod, cracking humor, old age and last but not least my luscious silver hair. I would gladly return to this cafe had I not heard they were raising the price of scones to five whole dollaro's!!!!! Sandy is crack up. I wonder who could be the chef who served me a small but delicious meal, in quick as quick timing. I thought perhaps there was human flesh in my food. YUMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

Yaza! has THE best iced chocolate drink in Nelson. I always ask for it without the ice so it doesn't get watered down while I drink it slowly. Heaps of chocolate syrup. Yumo.
