Amazing Coffee Shop in Nelson. If you are looking for eggs Benedict, this is not your place, but it is for everything else: amazing coffee, nice staff, fantastic ambience and atmosphere, etc. You still have a good selection of sweeties and savouries, but what is great about the place is how inviting is to stay, relax and get along with friends.

Take your keepcup as only takeaway sales, with lids. Cafe has moved to outside operation under new Covid prevention protocols. Works well with all tables & couches outside on a sunny morning. Ordered and paid for small latte, but got served large (disappointingly). Apple scrolls were all sold out by 9am 😥

Disappointing service. Ordered muffin and the date slice, but guy at register kept trying to give us the carrot cake instead. Had to point out that sign on cabinet said date & was next to the carrot cake, actress like it was our fault he didn't know what they we serving! He was very unfriendly. Muffin unable to be heated up so wasn't very nice. First Time I've ever been to any cafe in NZ where they couldn't hear up for on request?! Onsite parking is great. Nice looking cafe with outdoor or indoor seating. Toilet very old and bit dirty so off-putting. You get to select your type of coffee but was only average tasting. Had heard great things about this place and friend I was with said it was much better other times they had gone and her coffee but as nice as usual.

Hi there. Your staff were amazing and the coffee was great. My only qualm is with the amount of signage. When I got out of the car I was really put off by the big yellow signs about parking. All of the law jargon gives the cafe an aggressive feel. The same applies to the notices about managed isolation. I understand that you arr dealing with people and their annoying nuances but I don't think that the payoff that comes with signage helps the feel of the cafe.

Very popular cafe, excellent coffee. They offer a choice of coffee blends, made to your style of coffee (long black, flat white, etc. I picked Perfect Blend (or something like that), which was a mid level roast, and was happy. Good shared seating, good vibe.

We visited Zumo twice now on breaks in Nelson. So friendly, great vibe and the owners are lovely. We also order the beans online for home and it is a great service. For us, Perfect Bean is the finest coffee in NZ for plunger coffee! (We get the beans and grind what we need.) Keep up the great service guys.

Stopped in originally to get a mocha, but realised that they had multiple different blends and roasts so I got a latte to be able to appreciate the coffee a bit better. The coffee itself was nice, I got the Perfect Bean on recommendation of a staff member and it was not too dark but still a nice balance. Milk was steamed perfectly - nice and silky and creamy. I purchased a few beans to take with me of a slightly darker roast for brewing a coffee stout. Nice vibe to the place, and you can even watch the beans being roasted and cooled if you're there at the right time. The staff behind the counter were approachable and friendly. Would recommend.

However, it was ANZAC DAY and they may have been limited in what they could sell under our strange public holiday shopping. Laws Lovely friendly service and pleasant break on the terrace in beautiful Nelson sunshine. I would recommend this coffee shop. You can buy freshly ground coffee there too. They grind it to otderwhile you wait.

Last time I was at zumo, coffee was served in paper cups. So glad they have moved on ! Enjoyed a zoom 3 dark roast flat white and I have to say it was spot on. Also enjoyed the brioche and savoury Scone we had. Lovely being in the shade on a very hot Sunday

I try to find the best coffee shops wherever I go, and this is hands down the best coffee shop/roaster I have found in over a month of traveling all over NZ. They have several different single origin, fair trade, direct from farm beans to choose from, which are all fresh and very complex with good descriptions. The baristas are really good and knowledgable too. They really care about the coffee when so many others are so bland and generic, and they aren't any more pricey than average (maybe cheaper!). I haven't tried much else in Nelson yet but I would def say don't skip trying this place.

(Translated) Very nice site. They have a coffee toaster (I think) running in the middle of the cafeteria with a person using it. Coffee very good. They also have a room to be with your kids.
