Love going here. Its got an old fashioned atmosphere, and the only place fir miles and miles, where you get a tray, put a couple of plates on it, slide the tray along, putting goodies on your plate as you go! I hope they never change!

Bridge pie was excellent. Ham sandwhich was great. Raspberry slice perfect. 😃 But . . my cappuccino . . . was more like straight hot milk, 😥 even though it was presented very nicely and looked great. Better next time. 👍☕

I was pleasantly surprised that this place had the best flat white I've had in New Plymouth so far! The service was quite lovely and always lots of places to sit. I love the traditional style of baking and theres always so much to choose from in the sweet and savoury section.

This place makes the BEST ginger slice on earth! I've eaten A LOT of ginger slice in my time and this one is the proper deal: homemade and packed with all the ginger and oats and nuts! Going back!!

Nice staff. We showed up 20 mins before closing. The team didn't care and served us with a warm smile, and even swapped our drinks into travel cups. They gave us a good directions and were generally happy with life

Always a good coffee the and good ordinary cafe food sandwichs, cakes and pastries. It is easy to get a mug of hot water and a tea bag if you don't want milk. I had a bridge pie and a club sandwich.

Good Ol classic coffee lounge, just like I remember as a kid. Cream Horns, Scones, Sandwiches, Sausage rolls, and Pies. Always a short queue to the till, a popular place for the old school.
