S.Favourite spot we visited on our North Island roadie!!! Wicked selection of gluten free foods (even French Toast!), beautiful whimsical atmosphere, relaxed and friendly vibe, and the gentleman who served us was lovely and funny. Great views from the balcony space, and even a selection of board games to play. I lost all but one game of Connect 4.
Highly recommend, this may be my favourite cafe in NZ 😊🥰
H.Excellent service, friendly staff. Coeliac friendly gluten free with great knowledge. They have seperate prep areas for all their gluten free items. Good coffee and a nice outside deck area overlooking the river with ducks and eels.
C.Very friendly staff, looks a little pricey on the menu but the portions are definitely worth the price. The beef and bacon burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and the chips were really good too. Highly recommend!

L.Best spot in town for sure. They cater for literally every diet under the sun and it's all delicious. The proprietor is a top bloke as well. You're really doing yourself a dirty if you haven't experienced what's behind the Green Door

A.The guy serving me was very friendly even when asking for my vaccine pass in his most friendly voice! I went the to get some to have lunch with my Dad. My Dad wasn't double vaxed at that point. And the same guy that served me was very friendly and gave me my food in takeaway. It is a nice cafe next to the Eeels.
