D. H.It was nice to sit in the garden area under an umbrella on a sunny day. Good coffee, didn't have anything off the menu so can't comment on that. They let us stay a bit longer after closing time so that was a bonus. Really enjoyed it.
M. F.Arrived at the cafe right on opening time on Saturday morning. The very friendly and helpful ladies served us a really nice breakfast and coffees outside in the garden. They also kindly filled the dog bowl with water for our dog. A very nice cafe with a great variety of cabinet food and a good amount of parking off the road.
H. C.Very friendly atmosphere, good menu, and excellent service. We had crumbed fish, chips, and salad. It was cooked and crumbed perfectly, shame no variety of fish. After lunch we had a stroll around the very pleasant gardens. Set off the main road with plenty of free parking . We Will definitely be back.

T. T.As usual the food was very good unfortunately the same cannot be said for the service. It seems that wether they are busy or not the service is always slow. If they improved the service then I would give them 5 stars.
J. F.We had lunch here, it was pretty good, lots of food! I ordered a peppermint tea, but received a jasmine tea. Once I let them know, we weren't charged for it. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere. Definitely come back.

Excellent and friendly service, very reasonable prices for meals. Excellent inside and outside tables for different customers. Easy to find, especially helpful for the garden festival visitors.
C. M.We went for dinner and it was quite busy. The girls were a bit run off their feet with a large group of people at one table, but maintained their smiles and friendly nature.
We had to wait quite long for our food (over an hour) and unfortunately 2 dishes were cold. But the food was delicious nonetheless! I would love to go back for breakfast next time.

L. G.I joined a group Thursday night to celebrate a birthday. They had a set menu but I am a plant based eater so the kitchen made me a Thai Curry that I could eat. It was far and away the best meal I've had in a restaurant so far. My friend commented that she would have chosen it if it was on the menu. Highly recommended

D. J.A cafe located outside the crowded area. If you visit when flowers bloom, you can enjoy all kinds of fragrant and beautiful flowers and eat. The atmosphere is endlessly peaceful, and the cappuccino is really good. I always eat French toast, but the menu of the day is great too. I want to taste the whitebait once again, but it is a pity that it disappears.

We were here for lunch - my wife is GF and DF - no problem with prawns and salad - and our friend had fish chips (could not manage to eat all the chips) and the fish was succulent. I had a burger - generous size but also very delicious.
Fast service and the the place was packed with several groups of us oldies on a day out (brilliantly fine Taranaki day) - we sat outside under an umbrella / table, and didn't want to leave! Credit to chef and serving staff who were very helpful and accommodating.
We WILL return on our next visit to the 'Naki!

T. T.I really liked the changes made since my last visit. The new room with comfy upholstered chairs, table service, delicious French Toast and coffee. We had a lovely lunch with elderly parents just perfect. Easily accessible and toilets close by.

K. S.After 10 days of travelling in our camper around the central North Island we headed for the west coast. We had eaten in alot at well known eateries, as you do, but decided to stop at this unknown cafe that appeared out if no where for brunch.
There was plenty of room for the camper to park.
Preparing for yet another 'meal' on the road, we didn't expect what arrived!
The drinks served first were a pleasant start, in fact our daughters hot chocolate looked so good she didn't want to ruin it by drinking it! :)
But the meals we got were amazing! They were plated as if you were in a top restaurant, but very generous sizes and tasted just as good as they looked! All 6 of us were very satisfied with our meals (which were all different but cooked fresh) and no one was left hungry, which is saying something for our 3 men! Thankyou for a great end to our adventure before we headed back up the country....
