B.We love coming to Ruby Cafe for a treat. The owners are so lovely and hospitable, and are so nice to my toddler daughter. Good coffee, lovely sweet treats and their sushi is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. They make my daughter the cutest Fluffy with sprinkles carefully stuck to the side of the cup and marshmallows. Wonderful people ❤️

M.A quiet, small restaurant. Food was a little slow arriving at start but we went through a variety of Japanese dishes, full of flavour, interesting. Very hospitable and reasonably priced. Happy to recommend and to go again.

N.The hosts are very friendly and amazing cooks. The lunch and dinners (chili dishes and salids) are really tasty. I no longer buy fish and chips and instead go to Ruby's for a healthier meal.
N.This is a great little place in a quiet location. Lovely owners, their dinner portions are very generous, and the homemade cakes are really good - not too sweet. Strongly recommend the pork belly (pie or with rice) and really like the Mapo Tofu (lots of flavour) and Lahksa.

O.We ate lunch here and had Japanese #doria with #chicken - a dish normally made with leftover rice. Ruby cafe in Frankleigh Park took it level up and adjusted to New Zealanders’ taste. A local cafe Ruby Cafe is the closest to our house. Also a Greek spanokopita - filo parcel with spinach and cheese. Interestingly the owners are Japanese, and they make mean sushi and authentic ramen.
