Beautiful food, awesome atmosphere, great staff, excellent service; busy environment outside but plenty to look at. We've been about 5 times now. We love this place. Will definitely be on our return list whenever we're in Opotiki. Vaccine pass required, easy parking, wheelchair access, dogs allowed in outside area. Non-smoking!

We never know where to eat for our drive to Gisborne. So, it was such a nice surprise to stop in here. The kitchen was so clean and it was great to see food being handled with love ! The menu was smart, the cabinet food looked tasty. Great find and now we have a place to stop by and enjoy a beautiful meal!

Food is great, unfortunately the coffee is pretty bad. Long black (poorly extracted and much to hot) served in a bowl cup is not good. The Doughnut on the other hand is superb.

Great cafe, our favorite in Opotiki. Stayed one night in town and tried two cafes, this was by far the better option. Nice selection of cakes and a full brekkie menu. Dining room was big and bright. Large coffee is huge! I think I prefer the espresso to milk ratio in a medium size however, my flat white was good. Iced chocolate was a treat, loved the presentation and metal reusable straw! Chicken + feta filo and steak & cheese pie were both delicious and filling. $2 more and you get a nice side salad. Staff were friendly and patient as we couldn’t decide what we wanted. Ample parking. Indoor and covered outdoor seating. Clean bathroom. No wifi.

Would not be inclined to stop here again. We were on our way through last week and found the staff friendly and working hard but the cafe needed more people in the floor. I actually felt sorry for the young fella on the till because he was getting pumped. Basics were lacking, no aircon in the room we were located, we spent $50 but no water brought to our table, had to get napkins from another table, had to get up and ask twice for sauce for our wedges etc. We both had vegetables burgers but the design / taste needed a rethink. Coffee was excellent, however. Addressing owner's response: Jan 4th not 'yesterday'.

Looking at dishes being delivered, the food was beautifully presented. We were just passing through and were after late morning coffees and a snack. Disappointed by the long black which was bitter and undrinkable, so hardly touched my bowl. Hot Chocolate wasn't great either.

Fantastic staff, the Tradies breaky is awesome. Muffins are beaut. Clean and tidy. Easy parking. Vax pass required and checked or they won't serve you. We've been there 5 times in 10 days. 🤣🤣

Slightly disappointed with my experience here, staff weren’t particularly attentive or friendly. The toasted sandwich I got was tasty but quite expensive at $14 for quite a small portion.

Steak sandwich was delicious. Expensive but there is a Subway across the road. I would recommend coming here for a decent meal though although maybe not the Ice Chocolate as it wasnt icy and tasted like powdered chocolate with milk.

Great coffee on the road, happy to let me use my reusable cup. I will be stopping here again on my travels. Had cause to call in for coffee again, had the best cheese scone, the staff are really friendly too, this is the coffee stop I make on the return trip from Mahia.

Can't believe that a small place has lovely food and staff members. I was travelling from Gisborne to Auckland last year to finish the target. I stopped quite an early morning in a cafe around 730. Everything was fresh there, but I choose the beef sandwich, which was excellent and had coffee. Staff was excellent, professional and hardworking. Looking to the team, I can feel that they will grow their more business. I will stop next time. Excellent work, guys, happy with sitting and food.

I absolutely love this charming café! When I first walked in, I noticed how clean this establishment is. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, prices are amazingly affordable, the artwork and decor is beautiful to admire, and of course, their food is to die for!! I’ve tasted many items both from their breakfast and lunch menu to their delicious cabinet options. They offer gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options and a wide array of teas, coffees, and juices. I recommend this café and grill to everyone living in Opotiki and passing through. A real gem this place is! 😍

Food was lovely but wait was quite long they needed more cooks on .40mins later we still had not got 1 of breakfasts we could wait no longer as we had a funeral to go to and ended up taking meal away which was a waste of time as never got eaten .we should have been given a refund .was given a couple coffees which was a waste as we ended up not even having time to drink them .
