V.Bad coffee. The food was edible but suboptimal - tomato soup of the day was marginally better than canned and poached eggs were overcooked. I was also disappointed by the bread, which was the kind you can buy in a supermarket (Freya's?). The service was slow and the interior is unappealing. The only positive is the beautiful outdoor area in the back. We will not be returning.
J.The girl with glasses was amazing but it was shocking to see her team members leave her to work through a long line of customers(all the way to the front door) for ages. There were dozen people waiting for coffees and the amazing girl wearing glasses was working like a machine with a big smile while her team mates were having a smoke and having a yarn right by the entrance. Great coffee
J.Always great coffee. So many choices of yummy cabinet food and off the menu. Lovely cakes and slices too. Licensed as well. Colourful and cherry place.
s.We had the salmon Bene and pancakes.... Absolutely gorgeous tasty food, coffee was also great. For a cafe in a rural town, what a great place to eat. The locals must love this place. 👍👍👍 Yum yum.

H.This is a cosy ,quirky, little cafe in Opunake. We arrived with the lunchtime crowd so it got very busy and the wait time for food was longer than we expected. There is a tiny area outside which caters for those who enjoy the sunshine while eating. I ordered the BLT which was pretty good. My friend ordered a scone, custard slice and a cuppa. She said her order was delicious.
