J.Plenty of room to spread out socially distanced from other lunch groups. Food was limited to pies and cakes in the cabinets but there were other blackboard options including all-day breakfast. Friendly helpful staff wiping down tables quickly as people left. Clean toilet with full length mirror which was nice.
B.Food was ok could've been a bit better place needs a overhaul even the water cooler looked out dated only good thing was a friendly waitress

h.Nice food that you can trust, it sometimes hard to find a good bakery. Pies are yum but not full of meat, unlike the award winning one's you'll see for the same price. The filled rolls are nice too but are made for presentation, could have more filling as well.
D.Seemed nice, but the pricing made me walk straight back out.... I just wanted a cheep pie and coffee for the road. Can imagine would have been better to stop at with the family on a road trip

J.Driving from Palmerston North to Wellington, we decided to stop in Otaki for a coffee. The coffee was great, however there was limited food cafe selection. We visited during a quiet time, so our coffee arrived promptly.
B.Ate lunch here. Place was clean. Food was low quality as it was basically all from a plastic bag including the burgers. Since it's a bakery I had higher hopes that the cakes were better. Sadly not. The gingerbread men came in a sealed plastic bag, and when I asked if they made them they said that they'd been baked yesterday in their bakery in Waikanae. Well that was BS, because they were as stale as old boots despite being sealed too. Food was expensive for what it was. Won't be back.
