We like the place, it's clean and they follow the rules. The BBQ pork ribs is good, but the sauce, nope. It taste like the BBQ sauce from the counter we bought. Service, really slow. Lot of people are waiting for their orders. And not happy at all. Staff, friendly. We appreciate it.

Cool cafe. Great set out for customers and good location in town and plenty of parking. The menu is good and reasonably priced too. Cool ideas to jog people's interests to visit and a really cool thing we spotted was a projector mounted on the ceiling and a pull down screen. I'm guessing it's for the rugby and other sporting events to be screened. The staff were happy and very friendly and food was tasty Thanks team

The food here is amazing! I had the garlic bread, onion rings and BBQ Ribs. The garlic bread had a perfect amount of butter and just enough garlic. The onion rings are next level. Made in house they taste amazing! None of that frozen stuff you get at other places. Oh the ribs.... There is a reason they are the most popular dish here. The portion is huge! I ordered the 12 ribs and I was defeated after half. The sauce is delicious and the meat is falling off the bones. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a quality feed.

The food was average at best, waited over half an hour for our order, the servings were not generous. The only redeeming feature was the cleanliness and polite staff. Doubtful if I would return to dine there again.

This cafe cannot miss your sight if passing through State Highway 2 and travelling through Paeroa because of the big L&P Bottle placed right outside the cafe. We ordered a Creamy Mushroom Soup and I haven't had a better Mushroom soup till date. Also purchased the L&P bottle for 5$ which I felt was overpriced. The ambience itself is quite good and upmarket. Do check out the place...its worth the visit !!

We had a morning tea get together for our group of 24 people, the service was great along with the scones, cakes and muffins. We were served in a timely and efficient manner, we would highly recommend the L&P Cafe.

Wow, sometimes you can visit restaurants and be blown away. Just had some amazing salt & pepper squid with salad $18 and my wife had beautiful snapper, chip s & salad $25NZ. Well presented, tasted great. Well worth the stop. A hidden gem in Paeroa. Good service.

Well now where do you start. It's a lovely comfy place with the option to eat out on the terrace if you want. We had the onion rings, eggs benny and the ribs and WOW it was amazeballs dont but her going anywhere else in Paeroa this is the place. AAA+ RATING

Dropped in tothe L&P Cafe for lunch. My wife had a Chicken Panini & I had a Steak pie & some chips along with drinks. 1 coffee & a small Coke, This cost $30 which was around $8-10 to much. The steak pie was gravy, not one piece of steak. The chips were ok. The wife was not impressed with her Panini. Don't think we will be going back there.

We just had to visit whilst passing. I had my first taste of L&P, also had a coffee and burger, all were promptly served, by friendly staff. Burger was lovely, big and filling. Cafe was clean and tidy. Would recommend to anyone.

Huge cafe in a great location. I had the full cooked breakfast, wasn't keen on the sausages (thats a me thing not them)but everything else was great best cooked bacon I have had for years proper crispy. If you're in the area looking for something to eat this place is a safe bet. Well done guys 👍

Apart from L&P flavoured ice cream, there was nothing special about it. Just another bar/cafe. Nothing "flagship" L&P about it. Unless I'm mistaken and it isn't a flagship store in the first place.

Fabulous family experience! We were looking for a place for a late lunch. Many of the central cafes had already closed up. I didn't want to resort to feeding the kids more hot chips (lol-school holidays staples). We came across this cafe on the way outta town. Fantastic REAL food options for kids, like all day breakfasts that were well priced. It's lovely and clean with plenty of toilets. Friendly staff. We will make it our Paeora favourite.

Normally I give it 5 stars but recent menu changes have disappointed. Cured me of having the waffles as no berries anymore. Small changes to build a breakfast seems to be just a way of increasing prices

I was here the week it opened back in 2000 and it was the place to go in Paeroa. These days it's shown its age. They are renovating it, so it's noisy and not exactly inviting from the outside. It's in a really good location on the way into town, there's plenty of parking. I didn't try the food or the coffee, so I can't say how good it was but it certainly looked good. Maybe I'll go back when it's renovated.

Not bad for a cafe to sit at when you stop during your road trip. The food was good, i thought I'd be safe and get an eggs Benedict but my eggs Benedict was luke warm with over cooked eggs and the hollandaise sauce was really thick. But the table next to us got the fish and chips and that looked good lol.the coffee wasn't too bad and hit the spot. Plenty of parking and the toilets are clean. And ofcourse, there's a giant L&P bottle 😁

Great service, really loved the burger and beer Friday night deal. The deal is limited to a few selections, I had beef, wife had chicken and the beef was nice but we had a taste of each other's and for the first time ever, I have to concede that the chicken was the better burger. We'll go back and sample more.

Convenient and family friendly cafe and restaurant. We liked that they were open at dinner time. Staff is friendly and a reasonable food selection including drinks. Service was a bit slow and restrooms could use a little TLC. Good playground for kids across the street.

Cannot rave enough about this place! We called in here late one night on our way through to Tauranga. The service provided from the girls here was superb. They were extremely helpful and pleasant, and made sure that we were well taken care of. The food completely exceeded our expectations! Would DEFINITELY recommend people call in for a bite here on their way through!

Great food, modern decor, clean and tidy, friendly staff. Plenty to choose from on the menu or in the food cabinet. They also have a kids menu. Plenty of onsite parking, next door to petrol station, and opposite kids playground. I had the chicken tenders, chips and salad it was very tasty and came with nice dressings. We stopped in for a late lunch. The place has a lot seating. Booths, tables and outdoor area. I had chicken, bacon fettuccine, and my partner had the Big L&P burger. The wait wasn't too long, and both meals were outstanding. The cost was above average with both meals and 2 beers costing $55nz. It only got 4/5 stars due to the place being a little bit untidy. Otherwise would recommend it.

Sooo didnt want to stop here as I assumed everything would be overpriced and geared for the tourist market.. but so impressed by the food, the chicken panini omy, best ever. We also had muffins, all to take away.. so delicious, feel like going home that way just to stop in again. Also, the service was seriously good. Both my husband and I went in separately and we both made a comment at how pleasant the staff had been. A worthwhile stop while in Paeroa.

We visited on a Sunday morning, the cafe was busy with a coach full. Ordered the full breakfast & mince on toast with coffee’s. Staff with friendly and polite. Food came quite promptly with generous portions. Looking forward to trying their pizza another time.

It was so nice to find a place were we could go for dinner there aren't many places around the area of Miranda I think if there was even if it was on a weekend people who go a good English roast dinner is what we were looking for but you can't get one anywhere were we've been hoping to get out onto the road and explore some were else but again I don't want to have to cook a full meal at night would love to be able to go out to dinner. One of the many places cashing in on the towns L&P fame, but this place does it well. There is a cool display of old bottles and cans at the cafe entrance and plenty of the softdrink available in the cafe itself. The food was more expensive than we could justify but I was pleased with the L&P milkshake that was available on the menu.

Stop here on the way to Tauranga - it was fabulous, loved the decor, the coffee was strong and very well made - they made the soy milk thick and creamy. The toastie was overflowing with cheese and ham- great value for $4.50! Highly recommended!

The best food in paeroa (we went into at least six other places before we found this one). Not cheap, but its pretty good. I don't think their thai beef salad is *actually* a thai beef salad (I think its possibly a teriyaki sauce?) but it was yummo nonetheless. They've got plenty of L&P flavoured stuff but I don't like L&P so I didn't try any, and can't comment.

Visiting Paeroa to do a trail ride to Te Aroha return today, we discovere L & P cafe opposite our meeting place at the Rotunda, Marshall Street. What a brilliant suprize. This cafe is big enough for cycling groups (we were 26 in total), excellent in service and real good food and coffee. Highly recommended!
