I have been here many times always enjoyed the experience. Food is really nice , staff are great , overall a lovely spacious cafe ,I recommend this cafe to anyone.

Great cafe with excellent coffee and food. The cabinet food is fresh, tasty and well priced. Plenty of free parking. Light and airy cafe with well spaced tables means I feel safer dining there in these socially distanced covid times.

Been to Cafe 116 few times since we move to Palmerston North last year sometimes, they are pretty busy but the wait is not long. Food is very good and well-priced. Friendly staff never a trouble getting Gluten free option for our son when he visits from Wellington. Favorite Cafe for visiting friends.

Ordered our food and sat down,realized that we were over charged, so i went up and explained what the amount ahould have been. The lady was quite rude and said that it was our fault and that we ordered extra chips (which we didn't). Even after explaining that we didn't she was not having it and was rude and was trying to put the blame on is. Food was ok but tasted a bit strange to be honest. Definitely not going back because of the customer service.

Yes always enjoy my meal there. I like the lasagna which they serve with a bit of 🥗 salad on the side. And I like the salted caramel slice. Very sweet..too sweet for me but yum. - update: My husband and I went in yesterday, there was a line of folks waiting to order, I had an appointment coming up later, hoping I'd have time to eat..thinking this might take a while...ends up... We ordered..they were on the ball that day..quick service when I thought it might take longer...well done...took some picks too.. the lady let me when I said it was for Google reviews

Had lunch here. Great location - Absolutely delicious toastie and was only $7.50! Quick and friendly service!! We also had fish pie but forgot to take a pic! Good vegetarian options

There was about 20 in our group and they struggled with getting all our meals out Several meals came out, after prompting, after the rest of us had finished eating. I had the hash stack which was quite nice expect for the bacon which was overcooked and dried out. The bacon in other people's meals in our group were also the same. That said, most of the meals were very nice and we had reasonably prompt service.

Went to this Cafe as part of a large group for Lunch on Wednesday 16th.. There were at least 50 other people there at the same time. Service was speedy, Meals were hot and not over expensive. I would recommend to any one. Great range of Hot food as well as cabinet food.

Went in to this cafe for afternoon tea, food was delicious and one of the best coffees I’ve tasted in awhile. The service was amazing very friendly staff very welcoming! I would give this cafe a 10/10 for its food, coffee and the service from the staff

I have been to Cafe 116 twice with my caregiver. I am disabled and use a wheelchair. The parking area needs a clean-up and better surface, but I suspect this will happen when the business is completed. It is easy access for wheelchair users and lots of space. Not sure of the toilet access as I have not used this convenience yet. The lunch selection is great and not too expensive. No sugar-free drinks available when I visited. Will return soon. Great friendly service.
