Foods pretty chur but it a 45 minute wait with no warning for a burger and chips is average
M.
Good stop as open past mid afternoon: tasty food and drinks e.g. carrot cake has lots of walnut pieces.
Looks good value because it is busy and there are lots of locals getting the three main food groups: chips, pies and burgers.

Angie is the sweetest soul you'll ever meet and her steak sandwiches are to die for! I can guarantee you won't leave hungry after a day of hard work on the mountain! High chairs Yes, Fire place Yes, yummy food and delicious coffee Yes. Lots of space for larger groups and cozy for those wanting some "flare". Highly recommend this establishment if you're in town.

My partner and I love going here for lunch on our break. The atmosphere is super welcoming, the staff are lovely and the food we've been served is delicious every time.

Super friendly service, great Food. BLTs were fresh with generous chips serve and if there is a better value sandwich in NZ than their $5 corned beef, cheese, mayo, relish and salad I am yet to find it. Good coffee and fantastic carrot cake. Honest quality cooking and authentic hospitality.

The best, by far, mussels in town. And that includes Ohakune! So friendly, and welcoming. And so many good things said about the chicken and pies!! Top notch Angie 🥰
M.
Super friendly crew at the only place for takeaways in Raetihi. Great burgers!
K.
Took a chance after been disappointed with captain Kune in the past.. it was worth the extra 10 minutes from ohakune to get yummy fish and chips.. the fish was beautiful real fish and the seafood patty was good. Highly recommend

Don't be fooled by the look of this place. The lady who served us was friendly and thoughtful. But even better her cooking was excellent as was her cheerful serving manner... Not to mention that she had a great voice, singing as she cooked.

The best steak cheese and bacon pie 😋

We had the privilege of having an awesome coffee here this morning....decaf with coconut milk flat white and a regular flat white....amazzzzzzing....lovely friendly staff...a pleasurable experience...💕
B.
Absolutely the best lemon honey ginger tea in New Zealand. Big cup; sweet, just enough heat from the ginger, real lemon bits in the bottom of your cup. Rest of the menu is fine, too.
G.
Always stop here when passing through. Lovely pies and scones are delicious. Lovely people as well. Great fire going in the winter.
B.
Good food and friendly atmosphere

The best coffee and food in Raetihi. The staff are super friendly and professional. I always get the best coffee from the ladies. You will kick your self if you drive passed and miss the best coffee in Raetihi.
M.
Excellent battered fish; light fluffy batter and very fresh fish. Chips were a little to thin. Cool thicker chunky fries and your 5 star.
J.
Awesome service and the food was spectacular! The Woodburner was a pleasure and crowd pleaser.

Hidden gem
Coach cafe is one of those places where you can walk in the door and know the food is going to be great
It may not have the up market fittings of an Auckland cafe but that’s what makes it better
The owners put the effort into making good food
And when I mean good I mean great
It’s a family run business that makes its own pies and they alone are worth the stop
Friendly and accommodating they make good coffee from barista brothers which is fair trade organic
Definitely the place to go in Raetihi for food and coffee we have tried others and they pale in comparison
L.
