D.One of my favourite places for a coffee and a snack. Has a comfy retro/kitsch kinda vibe, outstanding coffee and a cosy spot to catch up away from the normal hustle and bustle. Good if you’re looking for something a little less vanilla and a little more unique. Always enjoy a visit when I’m back in town.
B.Quality food made from scratch in the warm atmosphere of an old cottage. I had a delicious calzone stuffed with cheese, mushrooms, relish and pumpkin. My only regret is that I don't go to JSK more often.

J.Staff are great and the quality of food is good too! I wish the quantity of food given was a little larger for the price. In saying so, this is a cosy place with a good selection of food perfect for a brunch or a light meal. The picture I've included is the BLT :)
S.I recently visited this place for lunch with my sister. We were running a bit late with putting our order in for the kitchen as it closes at 2pm. We asked if the kitchen had closed and the chefs agreed to keep it open for us. This level of customer service is outstanding. We enjoyed our coffee and our toasted sandwich. The staff were very friendly and definitely go out of their way to provide the best level of customer service. We will definitely return. Thank you for the delicious food and excellent customer service.
G.A thriving little cafe, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a strong lunch rush and plenty of regulars. Converted house is full of character. Pretty standard cafe prices. No background music would appeal to those who don't like the noisy cafe atmosphere. Near parking looks limited but at least is free.

M.I love this place! I love its unusual decor and vibe. The food was really good but maybe a little over priced, the chicken salad was lovely but $26, a lot of money for a lunch menu item. I had eggs on toast @ $12. It was well executed but the two eggs one piece of bread cut in half didn't quite fill the spot.
V.WOW, Am I glad I found Joseph St Kitchen. The food is as amazing as it looks. Super fresh, delicious, quality ingredients, superbly presented. I am a salad nut, and its often hard to find great salads and healthier options amongst all the delicious bakeries and cafes which are everywhere.
A unique, super comfy setting, I walked here from the square. Some outside seating as well as inside. Staff could not have been more friendly. Moroccan Lamb salad was an absolute winner!!! Too big to finish.
HIGHLY recommend if you are by yourself or as a group!

P.Consistently our fave cafe in Palmy for the high quality meals and drinks. On a wet, miserable Autumn day, cheese fuelled, bacon Mac pasta hit the spot and the Pasta of the Day, a joy to the tastebuds. Great range of sweet treats, fast friendly service, chef checked we had enjoyed our meals which was a nice touch.

K.Great food. Great service. Cool atmosphere. Is a little bit more pricey than other places, but is a go-to when taking people from out of town for brunch. Mushrooms on toast is great if you want a nice, rich sauce, or go for their delicious salads with home-made dressings for something lighter.

Interesting vibes, very rustic interior with amazing foliage on the building and a nice outdoor eating area (great for the few days a year that it's not windy in Palmy.

A.Amazing hidden gem in Palmerston North!
Not only is the cafe tucked away down a side street but it has an amazing feel and vibe. The food is tasty and well priced, plenty of parking and everyone I have taken has loved it!
It's very dinky and the cafe is covered in grape vines making it feel very magical!
I strongly recommend giving it a visit!

B.Delicious food. Friendly staff. Affordable, ample and fresh. Yum. We tried 3 different dishes between us, fish pie, vege lasagne & spanakopita with the deluxe JSK salad. So so good! Spanakopita was the MOST delicious 👌🏿. Baby friendly too Only neg, no coconut milk for coffee, but the soy was still yummy. Super stoked too have found it, well certainly be back.

K.By far the most scrumptious garlic mushrooms on toast dish this side of existence. Neat Bohemian feel to this nice hidden gem of a cafe. Summer is especially lovely when the grape vines grow over the outside veranda surrounding their al fresco dining area. Nice coffee, great customer service, away from the hustle, bustle of the busy Manawatu city centre
