Kind of on the average side food wise. Iced chocolate was pretty good but the scrambled were bland and overcooked. It was also quite overpriced for what you got. The café itself is located in a weird place too.

Great little cafe, took my mum in for a birthday lunch date for her as she liked to frequent the cafe previously with my dad. Friendly and prompt service both at the counter and with the orders. Definitely recommend a visit if you have time.

My sister and I went in for a late breakfast and tea / coffee. I got a bacon and cheese omelet which was delicious and a mochaccino which was well made and best of all, served at a temperature which allowed me to drink it as soon as it arrived! Staff were friendly and the service was prompt and efficient. Will have to visit again!

I have eaten or met friends for coffee a few times at Rumour has it.Weve also had small work meetings there. I found the staff really friendly and kind. There is a good range of different foods, pies, sandwiches panini's and various cakes. There is not a wide range of gluten free items however. I have a low gluten diet ( not a coeliac) I would hesitate to bring my coeliac neice here. However I have no evidence to support this just being unsure that she would find genuine gf food and that there isn't a lot to choose from so not fun for her.However staff are very accomodating as if they will do what they can to please their customers so haven't tested the gf option totally. I enjoyed coffee, hot chocolates and teas I've had at Rumour Has it. Also there is plenty of parking at the back but not obvious from the road. It seems popular as whenever I've been there it's full or about half full of customers at different times. That's a pretty good sign 😊

Clean, tidy, DELICIOUS steak and cheese pie. Perfect coffee. Good pricing too! Lots of places to sit and watch the world go by! There's also a play area for the kids.

I've been for breakfast here often when in Palmerston North. Good place to eat nice and spacious. If your with a bigger group of people you can easily bring tables together, the food is lovely and the service awesome.

Great place. Only thing they should work on are the terrible sandwiches. Like dry lumps of bread with no sauce or flavour at all. Everything else though is superb. Good priced lunch meals including burger and fries with incredibly done chicken. Excellent portion, was so full I couldn't finish it (I did try though, it was that good).
