A.I am home from Sydney and stopped in as based across from the gym I am going to. Really great service and super friendly staff. The savoury scone is amazing and definitely recommend. Coffee top notch too. Have been 3x now since home. Nice park around the corner too so good for a takeaway too. Keep up the good work H&T
C.Excellent. The place was humming. Queues out the door to place an order. But very quick turnaround and staff so polite and efficient. Best eggs Benedict & bacon I have ever had. Would definitely go here again. Congratulations team on a job well done.

J.Went to Henry & Ted's after a bush walk with the family and dog. It was raining but still lots of outside undercover area for us. We had organic coffee and iced chocolates all made with organic milk. They've got a good range of counter food for those who want a quick bite to get back on the road, or full cafe menu for those looking to chill out a bit. Perfect for little ones, the aged, fussy teenagers, gluten free hipsters and everybody else looking to show off their schmoodles, cavoodles and schnausers. Toilets are clean and even have incense sticks in them to remind you that Henry & Ted have gone just that bit further to make sure your trip to them is better than average. Well worth going here yo get served by friendly staff after a hike in the Papamoa Hills
R.Always friendly staff that genuinely seem to enjoy each other’s company, which makes it a nice environment. Great coffee. Reasonable prices. The outdoor area at the front is always a popular spot. Lots of off street parking is a bonus too.
E.Great vibes at this cafe, the staff are welcoming and friendly. Good and fast service despite how busy the place is. Food and coffee are fab (all organic), would definitely recommend!
M.Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Delicious gluten free bacon bene (asked for no hollandaise), well worth the price seeing as I couldn't finish it all. French toast looked amazing! The gf chocolate coconut rough was amazing! The only thing was that the soy ice chocolate tasted like watered down milk with cocoa powder sprinkled on top. All things considered, I'll definitely be back again next time we're in Papamoa for sure.

B.Best coffee and food in Papamoa hands down! Cheese scones are incredible, great coffee. We had the big breakfast and the grilled cheese and it was all cooked to perfection and so tasty. Can get a bit loud inside but there is loads of covered outdoor seating. Quite a few high chairs too which is great to see. Highly recommend
A.I visited on weekend and it was pretty busy with lots of people. But I understood why because the food was really good!! You might have to wait for a while but it's worth it. Staffs are lovely and it's a small lovely cafe with good ambience :)

C.Describing Henry & Ted as the best cafe/restaurant in Bay of Plenty does not do justice to this unexpectedly sophisticated oasis. Cool sounds and a top class menu brings us back from Auckland for more.

S.I really enjoyed the food here. Friendly service and quite an extensive menu. I thought the portion sizes were great and I loved the smoked cauliflower which accompanied the smashed avocado.
It's a little bit on the noisy side, but in fairness, we were there during a busy period.
I will definitely go back.

B.Charming beach cafe in Papamoa. Very popular with locals and visitors. Henry&Ted are well known for their innovative morning coffee and lunch offerings. Especially for vegetarian and vegan customers this is the cafe to call home.
A.Not impressed with this place. It looked good from outside but staff was uncaring. We were told the place was closing in 15 minutes and they could only served us cabinet food and drinks take away. They were 2 tables occupied with customers which were not in a hurry to leave. We ended up having our quick meal inside with doors open in a cold day as the window cleaner was curry on his job!!!!

J.We took the dogs for a coffee and cake! Coffee and ice mocha and some brownies, great quality. They get five stars based on would I go again and would I recommend - definitely.
Only one inprovement would be if they washed out the dog water bowl once in a while, as if looked liked it needed a scrub.

E.I had been recommended Henry and Ted by a few friends. I was disappointed that it didn't live up to the hype as I really wanted to love it! My food was overcooked the 3 times I have been even though I ordered a combination of kitchen and cabinet food. It did have a good range of options and I liked that it is a dog and child friendly cafe.

T.Bumped into the chef around 2 weeks ago to find out they were doing a pop up dinner last night using ingredients from aotearoa , my folks were in town so we decided to go and this morning we are still buzzing how good the food was ! So tasty , refreshing , perfectly portioned course after course just nice to go locally for dinner that is sooo good ! Loved the ika mata dish refreshing light so zingy epic start to the meal and our other fav the meringue at the end peppery strawberries and honeycomb ! 10 stars if we could give - lovely friendly relaxed service too cheers guys we will be back ! Support local everyone 🙌

Had an amazing egg n bacon filo thingie for only $7.50 yesterday. Brilliant orange juice. Wonderful fun staff. What's not to love.
R.So good! Such a cool spot. Coffee was on point and the food was the best I've had in ages. Beautiful food done really well. The caramel coconut slice is legit amazing. Would recommend 💯
J.I have been to this cafe twice, and neither time have I left overly impressed. On the first visit, my coffee took far too long to come out and arrived long after my wife had finished hers. Service time was much improved on the second visit, but my breakfast was very bland. I expect more for the price.
j.The Vegan scrambled pancake was disappointing, an unsubstantial "meal" at $21, pretty much just some coconut yogurt and berries, beautifully presented on a plate, well overpriced by $7. Was still hungry after it. Not all vegans are on a diet.

J.The quality of the food is good and well portioned for the price. Staff are friendly and efficient when ordering at the counter and serving food a drink and thats where the customer service ends. Although it wasnt hard to find your own table or fill your own water jug at the tap area provided, i believe this place has the modernism for its decore and good vibe atmosphere to have table service to make this a 5 star. Still i must stop over when exploring the other end of Papamoa.

A.I love this place and the food is amazing, I come almost every day, but staffs attitude needs improvement. I got given an incorrect takeaway drink and noticed when I got home. The next day I go back and kindly let the lady know. I got no apology just a dirty look when i asked her to double check its correct this time.

The food was delicious and a reasonable amount of Gluten Free options were offered, which kept the Celiac wife happy.

D.We always come to Henry and Ted - the food is beautiful and presented nicely - make great coffee. We had the cooked breakfast it was Delicious and beautifully cooked. - The staff are very attentive and check if everything is ok - The last time we came it was full inside and sat outside it was sunny but there was a chill - I might suggest they put some drop down clear blinds for weather like this - I did see a couple go away because it was full inside and too cold outside...Shame as this is a great Cafe..

J.Spent the last week staying with family at Papamoa East and sampled the food at H&T a few times. Such yummy food - particularly Tab's Taco and the Avocado Smash. Great atmosphere and vibe and staff all very friendly.
O.It’s a really nice place provided you like loud children running about, when it’s busy it takes a really really long time for the food to get to you. However when the food gets there it is really good.

Norma Benny is my fav, just perfect with the home made potato cake, love the Kokako hot chocolate, not too sweet and just right with some marshmallows. Cabinet food is always great too,we usually end up taking away a scone or some sweet treats
