A.Vanilla latte and tomato juice was good but food took a while to come out.
Andys hash had good flavor but the added bacon was $7 and came out burnt and of the 2 eggs only one was runny in the middle. Flat white was burnt and did not taste good at all.
All in all food was average.
E.It’s not often the chef comes out to check how your meal is but it was warmly welcomed as we wanted to say how much we enjoyed our meals! I’ve never had an Ayurveda bowl before but I’m so glad I decided to try something new. The meal was beautiful, service was great and the coffee was hot! Definitely recommend.
G.We had a great lunch here, I can definitely recommend the pulled chicken burger and the hash. Coffee is great and the vibe is so relaxed too. The service is friendly and we'll definitely be coming back!

S.I ate here early in the morning twice this week and had something different each time. I am vegetarian and a picky, fussy eater. I ordered the Ayurveda Bowl and asked for it to be spicy. The chef gave me more pickle, which wasn't exactly spicy, but really tasty. I tried a piece of the vegan banana bread toasted with butter, yum! The chef came to my table both times to ask me how the food was, she was so friendly, as were the other staff. The location and the cafe itself are inviting. The only negative is that my friend ordered a coffee and it took a long time to be delivered but when she tasted it, she said it was amazing. Good spot!
S.We had soft chicken tacos, French toast, iced hot chocolate and a cup of tea. It was excellent, up with the very best I have had. The service was lovely as well. If I lived more locally then this would be my favourite to go to regularly.

My husband had the Angus steak and loved it ... yummiest! The owners/staff were super friendly and very helpful in making a choice ... cause there's so many nice dishes to choose from!

M.We went today, New Year's Day, and the place was slammed. Despite this the service was so lovely. They apologised for the wait several times and totally kept their cool while run off their feet.
The food was DELICIOUS and the coffee great.
It's one of the few places open today, so all of the customers who came in expecting the cafe to be anything other than slammed were being ridiculous (and impatient).
Highly recommended.
P.A good little café with prime viewing for people watching along the beach.
It has great coffee and the pulled chicken burger is excellent and certainly recommend it. However the carrot cake was very dry, so possibly get that early in the morning.
Staff are nice and friendly and if you don't mind a nice leisurely pace of things, it is worth the wait.
A.We stopped by on the way through and it was the best decision ever. We had a lovely time and the staff are awesome! We got a few meals - veggie burgers, omelettes and cakes and everything was delicious 😋 there were a few tasty Indian snacks that are not too sweet and perfect treats. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back 😊
H.I love the interior of this cafe - very beachy and querky. Years ago they used to serve a delicious bowl of really healthy foods, but I think the owners have changed and so has the menu. I had the avo and halloumi bagel, which I was very impressed with as it was a lot bigger and tastier than expected. The bagel was lovely and soft and also served with lettuce and tomato. The food was a bit slow to come out and our coffees only arrived after our meals with served, which was disappointing. The Halo brand of coffee that they serve there is not very nice. It's very bitter and tastes burnt. Overall, the service was average and I wouldn't recommend their coffee.
M.First visit, will not be my last. Wonderful service, gave me senior discount, and came and asked if everything was to my satisfaction. You can't ask for better than that. Have recommended this place several times.
D.Absolute gem of a spot. Will definitely be stopping here next time we come down this way. My dog was able to sit outside with us and enjoy a bowl of water. Beautiful view of the coast in the sun. Food is amazing and still has that homemade taste to it 👌
L.Sea breezes, great coffee and food who could ask for anything more. Well you get friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere as well. Across the road to the beach and you can walk off those extra calories from the tempting food.
C.service and food was amazing, ordered their recommended special of the day which was tacos. chicken tacos and veggie tacos we were also offered sides before we even knew we wanted them. Hot sauce and yogurt and even aoli was offered. Definitively recommend visiting this little Cafe in paraparumu.

After the Dawn Service for ANZAC day, stopped and got a takeout coffee. Walked over to the Beach and contemplated how lucky I am.
The coffee was hot and strong and comforting.
2020: Met up with a friend from P'Nth. MPE is a great place for brunch, to catch up on all the goss, enjoy good food and feel like it's your kitchen, away from home.
A.Great portion sizes, filling breakfast - poached eggs were perfect. Great customer service too. I’d come again, and again.

We popped in late in the afternoon and had great service and food. A great selection including gluten free and vegan options and they also sold home made salsa and other accompaniments.
I also saw they do cooking classes which looked great!

J.Cute little beachy place with a great veiw of Kapiti Island! There were a few good Vegan options - and we were extremely happy with our choices (Japanese Poke bowl and Jackfruit Tacos) look forward to trying the other options sometime!
H.Great little spot right by the beach. Friendly staff member who made the experience feel warm. Was slightly disappointed that there was only 1 steak available when ordering and was given the option for pork belly. Both meals were interesting as they were both served on sweet potato, brussel sprouts and steak meal having bacon and onion added. Not necessarily the way I would normally eat a meal like this but always a first for everything. Would I go again, yeah why not 😊

O.Pan fried fish was very good. First coffee was very good, but 2nd coffee tasted like a bit burnt. The woman (maybe Indian) brought my first coffee to the right next table. (2 person table right next to each other) I though it was strange. She did the same when she brought my main meal. She put it on the next table again. I felt it was not nice. Then, after the meal, she brought my 2nd coffee in front of me. Finally, I thought to myself.
S.The meals were amazing and both coffees(one full cream milk, one almond milk) were great! Definitely worth it 😊
R.Cozy small setting and great for a wet day when you are looking for a good meal. If you wish to meet a friend for a quick coffee it’s the ideal place. A bit noisy so not ideal for a work meeting place from a space and noise acoustics point of view. Intimate setting right on the main road and beautiful views.

W.Great coffee and scones, they make a delicious Americano (called 'USA'). Friendly staff. 'Ambience' and another cafe up the road had no scones (run out) but this little delight of a place was well stocked up for those of us who prefer a savory snack with coffee.

M.Our second visit on a cold rainy holiday, and we're happy to be here, looking at Kapiti Islandfrom our warm, coffee-scented perch. The menu is really interesting & varied, full of unusual things, thoughtfully put together.Yesterday we had the French toast with tangelo & maple mascarpone, which Lee said was just fabulous, but as usual, I didn't even get a look in. It was gone by the time I looked up from my pan-fried fish with quinoa salad. So today I made sure that I sat a reasonable distance away to enjoy my Andy's Hash, which was a perfect balance of pickled pork, black pudding cabbage, poached egg and potato.
Everything on the menu here looks great...the coffee is nice and the orange and almond biscuits are the most delcious orangey things on the planet. We will definitely come back here (in the summer) to work our way through the rest of the menu.
L.Amazing coffee, friendly staff and their Haloumi Pesto Bagel is out of this world. Highly recommend! If its packed during lunch time it can be a bit cramped as seats and tables are quite close together

C.Great vibe in this beachside cafe. Went with a friend from Raumati Beach we both had cooked breakfast and they have turmeric lattes yum.Good range food including gluten free and organic. Parking across the road. Staff were very courteous and we did not have to wait long for our breakfast.
I.Great relaxing place to hang out with friends. Good coffee. Only odd thing was that cakes, scones were placed in cabinet pretty much at floor level so awkward to view
J.Stopped by in the morning for a smoothie and to grab a scone-to-go. Smoothie was delicious (banana, mango & coconut) although I was expecting (ok, more hoping) for a larger glass. Love the atmosphere and decor. Would definitely revisit for breakfast if time permits. Scone was very generous, very cheesy and still fresh when I got it for afternoon tea.

P.I had booked for a lunch group of 4 cause I know how busy the marine parade cafes can get. The menu on the internet and the menu we got was totally different and I wondered whether I would be happy with anything on it. How wrong I was i had the summer bowl and it was delicious the other 3 all had different and said I couldn't have picked a better place. Beautiful food.
