It was my first time at this cafe. I ordered the plum crumble and it was the best crumble desert I ever had. It was served with yogurt and it was the best for me which is why I rate these guys 5 star. I will definitely go back there again and will try their lunch menu plus the plum crumble. Thank you for making me happy. I took the photo half way through of eating it 😎👍🍰☕

I really like the lockup, it's a bit cramped inside but they have a heated outdoor area and on a sunny day sitting outside is really nice. The cabinet food is well laid out, recommend the peanut rice salad and the apple cake. Coffee comes in a mug and is locally roasted Dark Horse. This has become my go-to local cafe and I recommend it, though if you could please leave me a seat inside that would be great.

Call in every Tuesday morning for a superb coffee ☕ with my old mate Darrel, don't always get food but the Cabinet always is inviting. The Staff are gems always welcoming.

Feb2021: tables were full, and the kitchen busy. I'm a sucker for coffee and cake. I got one of each to go, and waited under 10mins easy. I got a FULL cup of lovely hot flavoursome coffee and a gorgeous Sticky lemon slice. FYI, tables are outside so a heavier layer for warmth would be needed if the temp is low or there's a wind blowin.. Foot entrances via 2 streets. Coffee beans are Dark Horse.

This is the best little cafe on the Kapiti cost. The coffee is outstanding ❤️ thank you Grace. An excellent team spirit that keeps the quality of service and food at a great standard. I would also like to compliment the owners on their attention to sustainable environmental standards.

Love the friendly atmosphere this little place tucked away down an alleyway has. Great coffee, great food and you might even manage to grab yourself a gorgeous bunch of flowers.

Location is behind spops but does work OK. Service was ok with food and drink a little slow to come out although in fairness the kitchen did look busy. Had a milkshake which was very refreshing. Do want to go again for coffee and a cooked meal.

On a sunny day, it is very nice to sit back and enjoy the tasty food and coffee. This is very casual place in the outdoor setting with takeaway plate and cup. This place is very popular on a nice day and it seems they are more popular than nearby cafe that used to be very popular. I saw lots of people here today and hardly any in the other.

I'm loving this new local eatery and have been here a few times now. Amazing coffee, friendly and fast service, lovely location and a great outdoor area. The food is delicious and there is such a great selection- my fave has got to be the cajun chicken open sandwich! I love how as a local business they support other local businesses, such as the flowers i've also purchased here. Looking forward to my next visit!

Great to have a relatively new cafe at the beach. A great outdoor space makes it a good place for kids. Simple daily menu plus great counter food. My only reservation was the provision of plastic cutlery. Hoping that there is a move to bamboo soon!

Professor McFussy and I were introduced to keto gems some time ago and were delighted to find them here. Friendly people manned the counter. Coffee and gems arrived on our table soon after orders were placed. Great coffee. A bit hard to find but well worth the effort.

My favourite thing about this place is the fact that dogs are welcome so I can take mine for a coffee date, it's just down the road from the dog park too! They don't have Puppaccinos on the menu but they made one for my dog anyway! To the owner, I recommend adding puppacinos to the menu and you could perhaps collab with 'cats and dogs dinner' and sell some of their dog treats! Then you could advertise outside of the dog park. You're probably busy enough as it is though.

Very nice food choices in a cool little spot tucked behind the Thai Marina restaurant. Garden seating which is sheltered from both northerly and southerly wind. YUMMY plum crumble - I go especially to get this delicious treat! Have some keto options which is also really nice to have - great service. Ex Te Horo cafe people if you know it - you'll love this spot... and the Cheese gems deserve a mention too...thumbs up to Jackie and the team

The staff are onto it! They actually listen and get your order right....which so often doesn't happen in many establishments... They care about what they are doing...friendly and efficient ...great coffee (and I'm particularly fussy) Dark Horse...the best around in my opinion if your a lover of dark roast...
