J.Went here for the first time recently and we’ll definitely be back soon. My wife got the cheeseburger and I had the Beyond Meat burger and both were excellent along with the curly fries. The bagels looked great so will try these next time.
Great outlook over the harbour and I love the bean bags for sitting in the sun or the shade of the trees.
D.Excellent. Making best use of the location beside Poriua Harbour. The menu concentrates on having a lot of options within a smaller range of offerings i.e. bagels, burgers and salads but multiple options for each. Coeliac and vegan friendly. The baristas also know their trade.
A.We recently went to get the kids a milkshake and have a drink on our last day off. The milkshakes were good, but very expensive, beer was good and priced reasonably, but the wine was a tiny amount for $11. Total amount was $38. Too pricey.
S.Wellington NZ, great views, staff were polite and helpful, food was well presented and prepared. The food smelled amazing! (I was not eating today). The coffee was good not great, but I like my coffee one way whilst others love their coffee the way it was served here so no real complaints just a personal note.
The views over the harbor are amazing and the pohutkawa trees are everywhere and look stunning.

H.Great location over-looking Porirua harbour. Very casual with outdoor tables and bean bags. Great for kids with little bikes and toys to play with. The coffee (Ripe) was really good. I had a salmon and cream cheese bagel, which was tasty but at $19 for a thin bagel and toppings was really pricey. Also had their banoffee donut, which looked better than it tasted. The actual donut dough was quite dry, but the filling was nice. The girls who served us were very friendly and accommodating.

So good to.find a place that prioritises vegatarian and vegan food rather than it being an afterthought on a menu as is so often the case. Really enjoyed the food and very pleasant staff. The service time was quick even though it was a Saturday lunchtime and they were quite busy. Keep up the good work folks!
A.Awesome place to have lunch. Porirua is not well served for vegan choices generally, but this place has a fantastic plant-based menu. Will definitely be back to try more of it!
J.This cafe is such a cool place to hangout, they have bean bags, kids cycle and toys just outside. On a nice sunny day it's just the perfect place to chill and have yummy bagels. We have hired their mountain bikes and they have always been so nice 😊 to us. Great location in Porirua too, just next to some cool cycling trails.
S.Great little spot to have a coffee or something to eat on a nice day. Space for the kids to run around and couple of toys for them to play with. Love the amount of vegan options and its one place that actually has vegan items for the kids under the kids menu. Would visit again but probably wouldnt stick around if there is a 45 minute.
J.Awesome location! Ride ons for littlest tykes. Service is slow but I reckon that’s a staffing thing cause of the pandemic, but it’s a beautiful place to wait, so no worries for me. Not take away cups so environmentally friendly! I’ll be back.

B.Went for the new evening opening hours. As always, staff were A1. It's a very pretty atmosphere with softlighting & ambient music. I had the soft tacos which were served with curly fries, which was filling. Child friendly too. It was a cold & wet night so we didn't get to experience the outdoors. Lovely and cosy inside more than made up for it. Thanks GFBC team.
E.First time visiting today and I love everything about it! Huge range of vegan food, a refillery for bathroom and cleaning products, locally made goods like candles - amazing, and will definitely be back!

WE ARE SO GLAD WE CAME BACK AGAIN! First of all the bagels changed, they are bigger and either the same taste which was already amazing or some are even better! My favorite is the summit and rangituhi! Then as promised we got some bagels for free, actually more than we expected! AND we've been there 3 times after I wrote the review and we waited less than 10 minutes! So everything just upgraded and we really appreciate how it all worked out! Thank you so much guys, best bagels ever!!
We really love that place but there's just one thing which we just can't figure out. We've been to this place many many times now and every time we have to wait for our bagels at least 25 to 35 minutes and at times it was busy so we just accepted it. But the last few times and just today we've been here and waited 35 minutes for 3 bagels and we were the only ones in the place and were also told that there's not much of a wait today because it's obviously not busy. The bagels were okay today but definitely not worth the waiting time. And that happened now a few times. Everytime we are just wondering why it takes so much time to make bagels..? If we decide to come again I hope it's possible to order before.. apart from that the bagels are really delicious.

D.Coffee and food are pretty good here. I always go here after my bike ride in Colonial Knob. Service is pretty good as well. Nice spot by Titahi Bay. And the bike shop is a plus as well.
E.Just popped in for a bagel today... banging! Crunchy and soft on the inside and a delicious combination of fillings (I had the Tumeke). The setting is spectacular, and these guys are making about as much of an effort to increase their environmental sustainability as would currently be feasible for a business of their kind. It's not common to pop into your local cafe, to fill up your soap/shampoo/cleaning/detergent bottles, before getting a coffee you finish off by eating the cup and all the while, you're bike's being fixed in the back. Brilliant!
R.I really love the options here but sadly today's service and food didn't hit the mark. I ordered a salad and kombucha. The $19 salad was very small for the price - the bagel is much better value - so I would probably get that over the salad. It also took two staff 15mins to figure out change from cash which was incorrect so I ended up getting my phone out and showing them how to calculate the correct change. It probably didn't help the menu's pricing had not been updated so the staff seemed a bit confused with the bill. My salad was brought out immediately (with warm toppings- so needed to eat straight away) but my friends bagel took about 10mins so we didn't even get to enjoy the meal together which was a shame

Bit of a wait today, and unfortunately didn’t get coffee as only takeaway cups available (although an edible one was offered), but suspect this is all due to COVID restrictions, and not a reflection of how it would be normally.

S.This cafe is a fantastic setting on the water. I grabbed a lovely coffee and a beanbag and the best bagel I have ever tasted. The friendly, quick service was great and there’s lots of room for the kids to run around too. We will definitely be back.

A.Just discovered it. Loved it. Great place to meet up and go for a gentle walk. Perfect for mum's with kids. It's set out so nice. The coffee is great. I did not try the food but it looked lovely in the cabinet. As did the menu. I will certainly go back there again to try their lunch menu.

Well worth a visit
T.Fantastic spot for parents with under 5 year olds or if you just want a great coffee. Outdoor seating and bean bags provided on a grassy area overlooking the estuary. There is a public toilet available and they provide ride-on toys for young children with a few scooters for the slightly older kids. This is a great quiet spot away from the hustle of the Porirua shopping area.

K.Great place with a nice setting. Staff were friendly and considerate. I ordered an iced coffee but they didn’t have cream. So they gave me my money back, which I wasn’t expecting at all. The iced coffee was still yummy. Hubby also loved his spearmint milkshake. Will definitely go back.

I hadn't booked in and just turned up, he answered all my questions and got 2 bikes fully serviced and installed dropper posts on both as well as getting a new tyre for one and screws to fix a helmet all on less than 48hrs. A.Visited for their good Ripe coffee twice in 3 days. Lovely view of harbour, outdoor seating. Children are kept busy with play equipment so parents can relax.Great for our dog too.
R.So glad this place exists. There's just no comparison given the option of sitting in the mall eating an overpriced chain store ethically suspect meal vs sitting in the sun outside a locally owned business on the Harbour's Edge eating an ethically commended, highly tasty meal at an affordable price. Always enjoyable, a great place to chill out and hugely kid-friendly.
C.So many cool coffee cup options, and these guys are ahead of the crow in providing these! Coffee is good. Outside lounging and seating is great with lovely view plus toys and bikes to keep kids entertained. Staff are friendly and clearly love their job. Cant comment on bike services as havent used these yet.
S.Top class eBike conversion , Simon knows his stuff. To top it up the cafe has super tasty bagels and coffee is the best we had in Porirua. Nice views too.
e.I can't recommend get Fixed Bicycle repairs highly enough. Simon fitted my bike with a bafang motor 18 months ago. Now, 6000km later, I can safely say that Simon has always given the best advice and fastest service. I've always felt I've got more than I paid for and the bike's still going strong. Thanks Simon!

J.The cafe has a nice open space at the rear facing the harbor. Great for events, and just enjoying a nice sunny day. Tables, chairs and beanbags are available for your enjoyment catching up with whanau and mates. Food and beverages in the cafe are reasonably priced and are quite tasty. The staff are amazing at finding you and delivering your food whilst you are busy soaking up the sun.
Bicycles and e-Bikes are also available for rental at the bicycle shop should you choose to cycle up the harborside walk.
S.Stunning place with probably the best scenery in all of porirua ! Its defs a gourmet takeaway store so like just be aware that if they're busy there will be a wait on food. The food was delicious though! AND THEY HAVE VEGAN OPTIONS BABES ! Coffees however came out on time ! Also, the bathrooms are portaloos so just be aware ! They may change this in the future but for now that's how it is. The outdoor seating is very 'picnic on the grass' and they have beanbags, toys for kids and a bowl for pups which I personally adore! All in all I love it cx there's also a cute textile store next door and sometimes people sell their goods out front too ! I don't know much about the bikes but there's that too !
T.Excellent service! Went in to ask for some advice about pumping up a particularly difficult wheelbarrow tyre and Simon was a godsend. Gave some great advice and even pumped up the tyre. Professional, friendly and helpful! 10/10 👍🏽👍🏽

D.Ive not eaten here but the bike team are great, friendly no bull kinda guys. Very helpful and chatty. I go to them for all my bike needs, if it can be fixed they'll fix it.
S.Great little cafe. Nice coffee, small selection of food, have nice deck area out front that overlooks the Porirua inlet. Have heaps of little bikes/trikes that kids can ride around on. Only downside would be it's better catered/set-up for finer weather. Not much space (esp with kids) if it's raining.

R.Was here yesterday to get help with replacing the inner tube for my back tyre as it was flat. Got great service helpful tips and very happy at the end, my bike feels as good as new. The young chap who helped me was very knowledgeable.
S.This place is brilliant!! They have the friendliest people working there, great food and absolutely gorgeous views. They even have kids toys so your little ones can play on the grass while you relax. Oh, and they fixed my pushchair in minutes.
N.Wow. Went to Get Fixed after a horrendous experience at Pack and Pedal Porirua. Friendly guy, knowledgeable, fixed my son's bike wheel with ease after being told at Pack and Pedal I would need a new bike! Highly recommend. Don't waste your time with any other bike shop in Wellington region!

First of all, the place was right next to the sea and there were terrace seats, so I liked the atmosphere and was comfortable. It was a vegan burger, but I really liked the seasoning.
