A.We enjoyed a nice family brunch here. The lovely staff were very accomodating, the food was high quality, and the facilities were well kept. The vegetarian and vegan options were delicious and the coffee was great too.
C.Nice food, friendly staff. I had the butchers breakfast and really wanted black pudding but $7 for a side of it I couldn't justify. Kids hotcake and bacon was great. Sweet bagel was nice too. Tea comes in vintage teacups, which I love, and the kids loved their hot chocs too. Husband said coffee was lovely!

T.Have yet to come inside for a sit down breakfast but every time I go past I just have to buy a slice the caramel brownie slice is to die for it’s so rich and delicious. Can’t wait to see what the breakfast is like

X.The look and taste were nice (with the sprinkled pomegranate), but too frugal (three ciabatta slices and no more than half a diced banana) that makes it too pricey (18.5$). I had higher expectations on a such highly rated place. Left with an half full stomach.
J.Regarding the review from Gemma re a lunch party of 14 last Thursday, I would like to clarify that the views expressed are not necessarily the views of the rest of the party concerned.
Both my husband's and my meals were perfectly satisfactory, our drinks were hot, and the lady serving us was very pleasant when we spoke to her, in spite of being very busy with such a large party.
I know I speak for others who were also quite happy with their meals.
We have visited the Butcher's Shop Cafe many times, and have always been impressed by the friendliness of the staff, and the food, and will continue to come to this very pleasant Cafe.

J.Amazing food and really quick coffee service. Small but mighty range of cabinet food. Ginger slice is a must have! I also had the ham, cheese and gerkin sandwhich which was really good (real ham, not the flimsy deli stuff). I recently had the orzo, ham, capsicum and feta salad which was to die for!! The cafe is bigger than it looks with space out back for seated dining. I'm yet to try this but the menu looks amazing!

J.Food was great, but we were there with a group of friends and the bill was $250+ and the person at the till couldn’t be bothered sorting out individual payments so made one person pay the full bill. So lazy.
N.They do a very yummy Eggs Benedict best hollendaise good coffee friendly staff relaxed atmosphere and loads of yummy cakes and lots of gluten free options.
E.Brunch time. Mince on toast yummy. Really good coffee with friendly staff too. I could see a local couple giving us city folk a sneering glance as if to say, shhhhhh keep it down, we're trying to eat our big breakfast which by the way is really nice. Honey it isn't a library. Anyway, this place never disappoints and we don't scare that easily
R.Stopped for coffee a couple of times. Such a gorgeous place. Good coffee. Friendly staff. Nice decor and I love that they have a book shelf so you can read a magazine while you drink your coffee. I look forward to returning.

A.Great service and spectacular food. We felt at home. It was raining cats and dogs but the eating area was warm and enviting. We were there just before lunch time and saw customers fill the place. The service was good too. We are about to move into the village and looking forward to many more great meals.

S.I went straight into the seating area from the car park and wasn’t greeted at all I walked through the kitchen to get to the part were I could order which was strange, the coffee was nice and a few kids were there in high chairs which was a good sign of being family friendly the staff just could have slowed down and been a little more friendly... awkward but have the mention 2 of the wait staff had dresses so short when they wiped the tables down you could literally see everything pretty uncomfortable so maybe look at introducing some Uniform guidelines?

J.What an awesome Mothers Day lunch with amazing service and great food all round. The Cafe was full and we still got our food within a good time frame and although we live in West Harbour, Auckland we will make the effort to go back one day.
