Really nice place for breakfast, if your coming on a sunny morning bring your glasses the sun streams in through the big open windows. The food was absolutely delicious, the wife really enjoyed the mushroom dish, I had the waffle which was also tasty but I must say I was a little disappointed by the portion size. Only one waffle. But other than that great.

This place is great. Atmosphere is chill and ambience made me feel like I was in a beautiful park with the view outside. If you are a passionate food lover, I highly recommend their cuisine, real coffee Along with the friendly customer service and display/range of baking treats to match. 5 Stars + Plus.

We absolutely loved our breakfast here, thanks for accommodating and making the big breakfast half the size. It was perfect for me. Great quality products well cooked and presented with some twist. Good work keep it up!

LOVED THIS PLACE. Best cafe ever. The customer service was amazing. The menu was lovely - plenty of food for omnivores and herbivores. The cafe was full, but the food was served in a timely manner. Tastiest breakfast I've ever had. Must go here if you're in Pukekohe.

Got The Yak Breakfast. Food was faultless. One of the better breakfasts I’ve had in sometime. Service was great. Good location and clean. They were out of sausages at the time so got extra hash browns instead.

This is the 2nd best cafe in Pukekohe so definitely worth a visit. Food is good and prices for the size of the meals is on the high side Still when the Caterpillar is closed this is the only cafe in Pukekohe that I would go to. The rest all see what is the max they can charge for the least they can do.

I heard a few mixed reviews from people regarding Yakety Yak, but i decided that i'd make up my mind, myself. They have a great little spot right in town, with glass walls that really let in the natural light. The atmosphere was good, and staff relatively friendly. The food.... I ordered the french toast, and my friend ordered something else. I took a photo of the amazing looking french toast stack and dug in. It was delicious. The only thing that wasn't delicious, was the long strand of hair i had to pull out of my mouth. Now, i don't usually write these sorts of things online, and in such detail. The only reason i am is because i felt like i wasn't offered anything for this experience, other than a re-do of my food. Which, thank you, was great, but working in retail/a customer based business, i felt like that wasn't really good enough. No compensation, not even a sorry when i went to pay. Really, really disappointing. I haven't been back since. I do hope this was a one-off, and by all means, please go and try Yakety Yak, but lets hope the staff do a lot better in the future, as i know, mistakes happen.

Coffee was superb & hot, just as ordered. Got a Ham asstd sandwich & asked for it to be lightly toasted as it was a cold wet day. Can back just as instructed to perfection & was so yummy too. I got a sweet treat to go with my coffee to finish, a Whakatane Slice ( I think its called or similar) & OMG best ever & very glad I saved to last. Recommend this cafe to stop in try their lunch menu or just a coffee & sweet treat anytime.

Nice little cafe in Pukekohe while staying in the area visiting family. Service was great and the staff were very friendly. The food did a long time to come out but it was worth the wait. Coffee was so good I ordered another. Will definitely be returning when I next visit the area.

The staff were smiling and welcoming as we walked in. Being a Saturday, it was fairly busy with other customers. We found a suitable table, and was soon being given bottled water and given the menu's. Although the menu was not extensive, there was enough to think about, we were advised of what the daily specials were. I chose the the Mushroom Medley, and my wife had the daily special of Bubble & Squeak. Nice upsell by the waitress in tempting my wife to have some bacon on hers. The coffee's were nice without the sometimes bitter after taste. The place is a prime location for letting the children have fun on the playground equipment in the square. We enjoyed our visit and would be coming back another day.

I give the coffee a 5, the food a 5 and the staff service a 5. The prices are what you'd expect given the quality in general. Its a family friendly venue with little nooks to sit in, grab a window seat and watch the kids play in the park. Its a beautiful location right in town.

Loved the decor of this cafe - it is what drew us in as we walked past . Coffee was fantastic and mains were delicious and promptly served . Staff were efficient but not overly smiley or talkative though . All in all we enjoyed our visit and would certainly dine there again .
