Second cafe from Frank’s that we tried, such a great experience. We ordered the French Eatery to share and a couple of lemonade and let me tell you, both are a must have, it was so yum. Good playlist and friendliest service from Manone ! We’ll be back

Lovely and open space with yummy kai and scrumptious cocktails. The slow cooked mince on toast was next level and the pork belly fell apart.

The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. The homemade ice tea is very tasty and the best on hot summer days! Absolute best café in/ around QT.

Good food and best ice coffee i have had in a while! Its got ice cream and whipped cream! Update: Visited on new years day 2022 after a 15k walk. I had THE BEST Ice Mocha! It had Ice Cream in it which is what I expect now (I got it without whipped cream this time).. but I feel like Frank's upped it's game. CHOC Brownie toppings! Plus the no surcharge on a public holiday and one of the friendliest wait staff we had. Hands down the best cafe in QT!

As with many establishment there were some disruption no thanks to isolation requirements due to covid. However the eatery continues to deliver great food, friendly and efficient service. Always love the vibe here, and the staff really should be commended on bringing their best attitudes.

Really great food, it's easy to tell the chef's are passionate about their craft. The fries were nice & crunchy, the main dishes had good combination of flavours and were of good quality and portion sizes. Not five stars as the wait time was slightly long considering they weren't many people and the food was a bit too fatty for my liking.

Lovely staff, good food and suitable to most, if it's not all, dietary requirements and allergies (and I have a lot of requirements/allergies, unfortunately). Will definitely comeback and bring another friend with me to make them discover the greatness that Frankton area has to offer.

Amazing food! Very popular so you will likely have to wait for a bit for food but totally worth it!! Staff were fantastic too, it was the little things like bringing over water and a jug without us having to ask 🙂

They have delicious food here! Try the tuna foccaccia and you will definitely not be disappointed. The breakfast pancakes were huge and the photo does not do them justice at all haha. I’d definitely recommend this place for its food! If you have some food allergy and need to swop an ingredient to another one then some of the waiters can be a little clumpsy, not understanding about customer service.

Enjoyed a fabulous Sunday roast dinner - great choice of meat and veges - cooked to a very high standard. Dessert was just devine and finished off the meal perfectly. The service was diamond class, extremely friendly and helpful. The freshly squeezed orange juice (with some vodka) was a lovely refreshing drink. If you want a great night out with top notch food and service, this is the place to be.

This was our first breakfast in New Zealand, and it was an excellent first impression. The food was hot, fresh and timely. The service was personable. And the atmosphere was relaxing. (A fellow American (from Colorado) waited on us, and she had connections to our home state of Montana, so that was a pleasant and friendly surprise.)

A breezy casual dining restaurant with amazing food and excellent service. We had freshly squeezed OJ, quinoa salad with halloumi and a Thai green curry. Absolutely delicious. Gonzalo, our host took excellent care of us.

We visited Frank’s Eatery on a Tuesday, really busy place maybe because of the school holidays, was full when we arrived, but the waiter accommodate us a table as fast as he could, (they have a few sofas as a waiting area). What to say about the food… it was incredible the aunt bird was one of the best salad I’ve never had, excellent coffees and a nice ambiance, would recommend this place for sure, thanks for everything !!

First time here, I am coeliac (gluten free allergy) and the menu was amazing. I cannot compliment the chefs enough, the food was exceptional. The coffee was also fantastic, we are coffee snobs! I will be a regular here.

It was our last restaurant just before flying back to Wellington, well what a great way to end up our trip, beautiful café, with amazing food and all of that in a great atmosphere. Service is casual but really friendly!

Frank's is great, don't get me wrong. The chef's prepared lovely dishes, and the server was charming. But we came here because it was touted as baby-friendly, and we didn't find it so. Our 8-month-old was calm and cute, but we were made to feel very unwelcome by the laptop-wielding punters at the next table - one was glaring at us before we even sat down. The server mustn't know babies, as she placed us in the middle of a long table where one of us couldn't pop over to help with the baby. When I explained I needed a quiet corner to feed my daughter, the server promised to give us the next available one, but nothing eventuated. I had to leave my lunch to go to the car and feed her there. All up, nice place, but not a nice experience for us thanks to the unpleasant clientele.

Frank's Eatery was more than happy to cater for our group of 17 for a birthday brunch at Labour Weekend. We pre-ordered the day before and all the food was 👍 We had people with various dietary requirements including celiac and allergies to dairy. Frank's were more than happy to cater for these guests. The waitress was very attentive and ensured everyone always had a beverage. Thank you especially to the lady in charge who ensured we all had an excellent experience. 😁☕ We're local so we'll be back! Amazing coffee also!!!

I recently visited for lunch and was impressed with the coffee and food. I got the vegan nachos and they were delicious - the portion was large, could easily be shared among two. The staff were friendly and menu had a variety of gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Will definitely be back!

A once very unique and edge establishment offered flavour-full menus that left you intrigued has degraded and made way for a cookie cutter tourist trap. So sad to see this place slide so badly. Ingredients are no longer forefront, menus haven't changed and their passion replaced by lackluster. I hate to say this store has fallen to the masses and lost its once charm.

Been eating there for over a year now and have seen them slip quite a bit. Had a well made crumbed chicken sandwich that just tasted bland and bitter with a hot chocolate that tasted like it was topped off with water. Great staff and a cool looking place, just some more flavour put into the meals would really bring it back

Love the atmosphere - industrial with polished concrete floors. Coffee was great as was the service. Was disappointed with my Eggs Benny - fatty and not crispy bacon and undercooked eggs - but I’ll be back again to give them another try. Nice new addition to Frankton.

5 star food and coffee but disappointed with the service. Our food order did not reach the kitchen and it took over half an hour for our waitress to realise. While these things do happen and it was busy at the time, it would have been nice if we'd been offered a complimentary drink or similar while we continued to wait for our meal. I mentioned the mistake to another member of staff at the end when paying and received another apology but nothing more. 2 missed opportunities to do a little to make it up to us and make us more likely to come back again.

Lovely place and so great to have something else in this area of town. Very cool, industrial like setting. Some large shared tables and smaller options too. As well as great food and coffee & good old fashioned friendly service, Frank’s Eatery is also just a comfortable place to be. And that is something I find pretty rare in cafes and restaurants anywhere. Their Wifi also is decent and doesn’t cut off after 30 minutes or so which is often the decision maker if you need to get some work done. Plus they have a couple of large booths with bench seats and plenty of cushions that are separate to the main Cafe area. These are the great spots to get some work done in relative peace and quiet. All in all, Frank’s Eatery is a great little cafe and my new regular. UPDATE Went to Frank's Eatery yesterday with my daughter and ordered one eggs benedict mentioning that we would share it. When the waiter brought the meal out they had put it on two plates and both my daughter and I were super impressed by this small but important attention to detail. I felt like I was getting 2 meals for the price of one, but more importantly my 4.5 year old daughter thought she was getting her very own eggs benedict and was stoked. And yes the food and service were both excellent. Thanks Frank!
