Reviews of Vudu Cafe
S.
I have dined at Vudu before so I was looking forward to visiting again. And I wasn't disappointed. Excellent vibe. Friendly staff and my breakfast was amazing. Can't wait for my next visit.
A.
Delicious!!!!!! Staff very friendly. I had the butterscotch porridge, omg so yum and a huge portion I could not finish the whole thing. Their honey, lemon and ginger tea is delicious my mum (exceptionally good as my mum said) she couldn't stop talking about it. Visit this Cafe. It gets very busy but lucky we went early in the morning and got a seat inside on a rainy day.
N.
I wasn't planning on stopping for breakfast but I'm glad I did!
Plenty of friendly staff and great coffee!
The reason why I am writing this is because I have just been served the creme brulee French toast .
I have had a lot of French toast from a lot of places in nz all quite nice but similar to each other in some way.
This was the exception! Probably the best French toast I have ever had! Amazingly balanced flavours, the toast was light and fluffy! I will definitely be back for this!
You just have to take one look at the photo to see it is different right from the start! Total new fav!
R.
Make great coffee! ☕ Good choice of cabinet food or off the menu. Seating outside by the lake
A.
Expensive... we paid $81.50 for two lunches. To their credit tho, the food was enjoyable.
To the owner...
We dined on the 10th Feb - check your till tape, you'll find it. Due to an all-day breakfast not being an option on your menu, my Wife had to order poached eggs on toast and add the rest as side from your menu. This is how it came to the price it did. We also had a juice ($9.50) and a latte bowl from memory. Regardless, EXPENSIVE!
J.
Super busy place but worth it if you can get seated. If not, cabinet food is a great option here as well. Perfect for brunch to start your day!
S.
We visited Vudu on the 1st of Jan for a coffee and a quick bite. The design and ambience is basic with some industrial touches. They found a table for us although it was very busy. All the options on display looked fantastic so we decided to go for some sweet and some salty options along with coffee. Good cappuccino, well prepared meals, delicious sweets. Good service.
Don’t stay with the menu as not everything is included - go and select on the display!
Recommended.

Amazing selection for my boyfriend who is dairy intolerant. Coffee was really good, service was lovely and the vibe was excellent.
C.
Lovely little cafe with outdoor seating. Staff are super friendly. Food is great, but also, the portions are huuuuuge. Good choice to boot.
R.
Had an incredible breakfast there this morning. Went with the reviews and ordered the gorgeous matcha latte, and had scrambled eggs on sourdough toast + added on pork sausages. Everything was perfect.
It was very busy and covid seating made it harder, but we were seated quickly after being asked to start at the outdoor seating.

DATE OF VISIT: end of February 2020
A great stop for breakfast! We stopped here on the morning before one of our tours and enjoyed our coffees and pastry by the beautiful view of Lake Wakatipu. We did not order off of the menu, as you can see by the many photos they have a entire case of pastries that vary. We had a savory pastry that was absolutely delicious! So even though their posted menu may not sound all that enticing, I highly recommend trying this place to see what's in their case!
Seating is very limited indoors and outdoors but on par with a lot of the other restaurants in the area. There is also a front and back entrance that people can come in/out of which made it a little confusing for us at first, but everyone's friendly and will help out.
They are known for their Vegan food and I think those are most of their high ratings - so if you're vegan, I think this would be a great stop for you. Would I return here when we come back to Queenstown? No. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. The food is decent, but I always rate based on have I thought about them nonstop since we left and would I return.
P.
I went here following a recommendation. I can see why it's so busy. The food was amazing. I had the Fancy Beans and a coconut flat white. The beans were bursting with flavour and textures. Happy to the last bite.
A.
This was one of my favorite meals in Nee Zealand! The place was super busy, but we surprisingly didn’t have to wait too long and food came out quickly. This is a must go to place, eat all the food and drink all the coffee. So delicious!
J.
Delicious food and coffee. French toast is one of my faves!
K.
Great food, great coffee, great service. Very impressed, would definitely recommend and go again.
L.
One of my go to breakfast places when staying in Queenstown. It’s always super busy but always delicious. I had the vegan pancakes with berries and whipped coconut cream, which were so good and huge (only managed to eat half). My husband had poached eggs with bacon and declared them very tasty. The coffee was smooth and strong although not very hot, probably due to how busy they were. My turmeric latte was lovely and spicy. Don’t go when you’re in a hurry, but do go.
A.
Heaps of vegan options here we were spoiled for choice! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were awesome. The food and coffee came out really quickly considering they were really busy. Would 100% come back to Vudu.
A.
Great coffee with good flavour. Also had the soup for lunch. Excellent home made with sourdough. Would definitely recommend and come back. Sorry started eating it before I took photo but is delicious
b.
Super busy. I had cabinet food which was pretty great, alongside a good coffee. My friends had some of the different egg based meals which looked delicious also!
M.
By far the best brunch/lunch place in Queenstown. Any Aussies looking for a quality coffee on par with Australia, come and get it here. The menu has a great selection, and the food ordered from the menu is delicious. Highly recommend the brioche toast & the buckwheat pancakes. Turmeric latte was too gingery for me, but everything else was phenomenal.
E.
Good food in heart of Queenstown. Portions are decent, taste is OK. Service is good and they have sparkling table water which is good. Plenty of seating inside and out.
B.
Had brunch at Vudu Cafe on a Sunday. Great method with ordering while waiting for a table. Makes the process a lot easier. We decided to grab a table outside so got one right away. The juices we ordered cake quickly but the coffee was delayed and they came with an incorrect order. Machiatto instead of the triple shot espresso we asked for. Staff were super friendly though and corrected the order. The table water glasses were quite dirty.
The food then came shortly after. I got the special of the day which were chicken tacos. I wasn’t expecting what I received. It was three ‘crispy’ tortillas stacked on top of each other with a mix of chicken and salad. The chicken was nice and plentiful however the tortillas were inedible. Not sure if they were stale or cooked incorrectly but they were impossible to chew threw. So I left them on the side.
The other dishes were good - the juices were made well and there was an awesome amount of ginger in the juice.
Great view from outside tables. I would probably try again but just order the more standard items.
A.
Too crowded. Kind of expensive. But then what's not expensive in entire New Zealand?
The food was amazing. We ordered today's breakfast, scrambled eggs and eggs benne.
We then got Pacific Juice. It was amazing. We also got a tiny portion of green juice and it was great.
K.
Delicious brunch meals, fast and friendly service, beautiful atmosphere and good music! All of the ingredients for a gorgeous experience, would go again in a heartbeat. A must if you are in Queenstown
B.
Loved the food here! We had the buckwheat pancakes and vegetarian eggs Benedict and they were delicious. We got a salmon sandwich for take away lunch and also enjoyed it. Service is fast and the staff were welcoming and eager to help. It is busy but well worth it.
G.
Loved this cafe, great for breakfast / brunch/ lunch or tea & cake. Coffee is excellent, service is good, and the food well presented and delicious. It's got a nice bustling vibe with seating inside and some out the back with lake views.
It's also worth trying their sister cafe , Bespoke Kitchen, up near the Skyline Gondola.
J.
I almost docked this place a bunch of points because nobody went to the effort to tell me that the procedure for ordering consists of reading the menu, paying for it and then being seated. But the friendly staff were extremely apologetic and helpful and managed to help get our meal back on track. It was really healthy food with some naughty options and good ambience for a cold Queenstown day.
K.
Amazing food, My eggs Benedict was so nice. Full of flavours. Very nice bacon.
Coffee is one of the best, friendly staff. Highly recommended if you are visiting Queenstown
J.
Incredible food with fast, friendly service! We were luckily enough to walk in and get a table but I’ll recommend booking a table.
We got the breakfast special, banoffee pancakes (v) as well as a couple of other dishes. Massive portions with quality ingredients!
D.
The almond croissant was scrumptious and they serve great freshly squeezed juices. Order something sweet to share as hot food can take a while. The hollandaise on the Benedict was spot on and the large piece of salmon was appreciated. The hash plate with chilli is a vegetarian's delight. The staff were very friendly too.
J.
Went here for breakfast one morning and it was excellent!! Service was quick and the staff were all very nice and helpful. I had the scrambled eggs on toast which were so good! Delicious flavor. I also had a slice of lemon cake bread it was sooo good. Not to heavy with a wonderful taste! And topped off with a fantastic hot chocolate!! Free WiFi for 30 mins while you eat too!! Would highly recommend!!
J.
The best cafe shop in New Zealand. (though I haven’t been to many). The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is chill. The most important is the food is very very good. Carrot cake is yummy and value for price. Must go!
M.
Friendly staff, nice location, good food and coffees, what else do you need? 😁👍🏼👌🏻
D.
You can just stop in for coffee or a pastry, but this is a must-do breakfast or brunch stop if that's your thing. Bustling and crowded, not a place for a leisurely morning but worth it anyway. Try the French toast! Vegetarian options, accessible with a bit of patience, not so kid-friendly due to the crowds and fast pace.
K.
The best breakfast Cafe in Queenstown. Good range of food, great coffee and we've always managed to get a table reasonably easily.
E.
Epic vegan options. And cabinet options for vegans too. Pretty epic. Always come here when I’m in Queenstown. Service is always great too.
M.
To be honest, this place deserves a 5 star. The vision here is extremely well-implemented and impressive.
The care to detail just with the pancakes was appreciated. The grilled banana, the dried lemon, the assortment of fruits, wow!!
And the pancakes were vegan! They are definitely enough for 2 people and are heavy and filling.
There were so many things in the menu that I wanted but I couldn’t eat that much :)
Well done Vudu!
A.
Popular with locals and tourists alike. Food was amazing 👌 I had the smoked salmon roll. Probably better for a small group as it gets pretty busy.
J.
Just the best coffee in Queenstown. Seriously. We got eggs benny, sweet scone and almond latte. Yummy! Nice and friendly staff as well. It makes sense to be soooo busy, it’s just great 👍
M.
Just amazing! Service is fast and friendly despite being busy all the time and the food is phenomenal ⭐️
J.
Friendly staff with a huge range of cakes, coffee and tea. Grabbed myself a hot chocolate and colleague got her favourite matcha latte. There are seats upstairs as well but expect it to be crowded if it's raining.
J.
Loved my breakfast here, I could see the chef bringing down freshly baked muffins which looked and tasted delicious.
All the food looked healthy and delicious, a nice classy cafe.
All staff were super lovely, especially the British girl in there.
Very impressed, would definitely recommend and go again.
b.
Probably one of my favourite Queenstown cafes, I got an americano and feta, cheddar scroll yesterday. Just lovely sitting outside and fabulous service.
y.
Good place for having a brunch. The banoffee pancakes taste good. However, the "muddy" and a bit creamy texture (I forgot what's it's name) under the banana...emmm, it's does taste good but the appearance really affect my appetite...😅
E.
Into this popular shop is undoubtedly full of rhythm, but compared to Auckland's coffee coffee is soso , Allpress's coffee bean is as good as ever, but the milk foam ratio is completely out of order. It is estimated that it is too busy to take care of the quality standards. The choice of tourist attractions is too small. It should be good for foreign tourists.
B.
Good coffee and good food and excellent service. Great outdoor sitting available as well. Great spot to people watch.
D.
Great smoothies and vegan options. Very popular in the morning for tramping groups ☕
N.
The special was amazing but the pancakes are very thick and so quite doughy. Not enough syrup. Could only eat one.
C.
Looking for proper coffee? You'll be happy here. Flat Whites get the doppio they deserve and the food is excellent as well. We stopped here during our @oneway.to.somewhere trip around the world and highly recommend!
M.
Really great breakfast the best poppyseed pancakes & pretty good eggs benedict before leaving Queenstown for Wanaka.
k.
Stopped here for a coffee and then saw their sausage rolls. Delicious and a good serving size. The place was really busy so you usually have to be quick to get a table, but there are many more seats outside at the back by the waterfront. Great view of the surrounding mountains!
S.
Amazing breakfast eggs bene
And the coffee allpress was great
Very good views too
M.
Great place for breakfast. Great location. Service is fast and friendly. Only minus is too crowded but is worth it the wait.(we back in2021 and it was great again. )
P.
A nice cafe but always very busy. The customer service is okay but they’re not so fast and attentive as they could be.
They have a food menu but the kitchen closes at 4pm, but they also have some ready made pastries and cookies at the counter. The veggie frittata was tasty!
A.
Popular with locals and tourists alike. Food was amazing 👌 I had the smoked salmon roll. Probably better for a small group as it gets pretty busy.
M.
To be honest, this place deserves a 5 star. The vision here is extremely well-implemented and impressive. …
A.
The long black is richly flavoured. The frittata is one of the best. Super friendly staff and refreshingly cool vibe. In many ways the best Queenstown cafe!
M.
Amazing food, coffee and a nice location. Eggs Benedict with salmon is the best! Highly recommend it when in Queenstown.
K.
Amazing vegan food! The vegan cinnamon bun was the softest, most delicious thing ever
P.
Great place for greens and everything not meat patties and fried stuff. Love their smoothies!!
J.
Loved my breakfast here, I could see the chef bringing down freshly baked muffins which looked and tasted delicious.
All the food looked healthy and delicious, a nice classy cafe. …
r.
Eggs Benedict with Salmon was made to perfection 🥰
T.
Excellent and busy breakfast place. Coffee was delicious and food was fresh and tasty. Great place to people watch.
S.
Great place to eat. A generous portion of tasteful food reasonably priced. Just the coffee wasn't good, I wouldn't have coffee again. It was really busy however service was fast and staff friendly.
D.
It's hard to get great coffee and great food but Vudu has it all, as well as fantastic service.
So many choices; gluten free, dairy free, vegan and everything else. The muffins were so moist and tasty and didn't taste like they had come out of a packet.
The coffee was the best I had in Queenstown.
Definitely recommend this cafe. We went twice in one day!
K.
Good selection of foods, whole food options, including gluten free.
N.
This is a cute little cafe with a nice atmosphere. Food was delicious, although a bit pricey for what you get. Also I was almost finished my food before my coffee came.
But overall nice place. I was able to connect to the free wifi from the BNZ nearby.
A.
The service was quick and the staff were very friendly! The food looked delicious and tasted even better!
Would highly recommend the French toast!
k.
Don't think this place needs reviews its busy, lively, great range of food and a tasty coffee. Friendly staff makes it even better, for a coffee I would go anywhere else
A.
Delicious food, great coffee (Allpress), very comfortable and warm location, extremely friendly staff! Nothing much more to add here. Have a look yourselves.
K.
Amazing vegan food! The vegan cinnamon bun was the softest, most delicious thing ever
D.
Really enjoyed the food and service at Vudu Cafe, which had some delicious vegan options. Thank you!
T.
Busy little cafe, and can see why. Best coffee I’ve had in Queenstown, serves a strong brew and has oat milk. Vegan & raw treats to keep you going, cakes look incredible too. Staff are very friendly and attentive, even during the rush.
E.
A great place for delicious food and excellent coffee!
I ordered cinnamon pancakes and got such a special treat- it tastes even better than how it looks!
A.
The long black is richly flavoured. The frittata is one of the best. Super friendly staff and refreshingly cool vibe. In many ways the best Queenstown cafe!
J.
Vudu's breakfast is amazing both in taste and presentation. However it is not a cheap breakfast option but well worth the cost.
D.
The white and white taste here is pure, and the coffee is rich in flavor~
This coffee shop is so hot, there are long queues all the time.
A.
Tasty scrambled eggs and bacon, veggie savoury pastry, good coffee, busy when we arrived but very quickly there was more free tables.
C.
Deservedly popular, cosy cafe in Queenstown. Excellent food - love the black burger buns - in a convenient location. Sometimes there's a 10-20 minute wait for a seat at peak times, so arrive early for breakfast or lunch.
J.
Best breakfast in Queenstown. A friend recommended we stop here, and we were happy he did. Delicious food and friendly service.
F.
If you are a fan of carrot cakes, then look no further. This is a MUST visit for you as Vudu cafe has the BEST carrot cake that i have ever eaten! The cafe is very busy and offers a good variety of food on the menu although I wouldnt say the food are exceptionally good. Coffee however is great and enjoying a nice cup of coffee ans eating the best carrot cake while enjoying the beautiful lake view in Queenstown is something you should do when visiting!
A.
Not bad
Coffee was a bit weak in my opinion
Staff friendly. Place is extremely busy at 10:30am.
Food was delightful
Bacon was good
A.
Great breakfast and lunch. Tastes amazing. Unfortunately there's usually a big queue
P.
Great place for greens and everything not meat patties and fried stuff. Love their smoothies!!
N.
Had some tasty desserts here! Really great
S.
Had creamy vegan mushroom and raspberry cheesecake frenchtoast. Amazing food, ambience and vegan friendly 😀
P.
good place to have breakfast and Macchiato . Pancake and scramble egg with Bacon are tasty!
C.
Easily the best scones I've ever eaten ! Coffee not quite Great, but definitely good enough. Staff super friendly. Usually have to queue but absolutely worth it.
Z.
Great for vegans / veggies / meateaters! The eggs benny was exactly what we were after, well worth the wait. Also a good vegan selection in the cabinet and great coffee - 5 stars all around :)
K.
Salmon was the best.
This cafe is way too busy 😂 they can be a wedding place as well ✨
C.
As always, excellent customer service and great food and coffee.
P.
Food was delicious. Quick service. A must for a great breakfast
T.
Grate service, very quick even though the was a lot of people, good food! Every thing there looks tasty 😋
D.
H
Recommended by our daughter. The gf carrit and banana bread is amazingly tasty and moist served warm the serving size was big enough for 2. Shared with an Irish Coffee and a Baileys Coffee . The staff are very welcoming and friendly. A must visit
T.
Great cafe food, could definitely be in a bigger location as seating is limited. $10 for a slice of a carrot is laughable even the staff were unsure why and had a laugh with us. Lovely staff. Can’t wait to go back.
M.
Got the gf/vegan superfood bowl for lunch and it was scrumptious. Full of dynamic flavors! Great patio area for outdoor dining on the water.
K.
A lovely Cafe with delicious food. We sat outside, the heaters blaring away with a beautiful warm breakfast. Both dishes we tried were amazing, staff very friendly and hospitable
B.
Best breakfast we had on our trip so far! Went there the next day as well - I really recommend it!
R.
Good coffee, good food and good staff. We were especially impressed by the fact that while we arrived at 355pm on a Sunday and they closed at 400pm, they served us. By contrast another coffee shop nearby had refused to do so a few mins earlier.
M.
Beautiful place with great customer service and food! Loved the place!
E.
Vegan heaven!
AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE.
Highly recommend.
L.
I randomly felt like a porridge while in Queenstown so decided to order from vudu, and let me tell you… their porridge is one of the best breakfast meals I’ve ever had… unbelievably delish!
J.
Nice staff, food and drink. The atmosphere is very roomy.
G.
Best breakfast I’ve ever eaten and I’m a chef myself. Flavours were amazing, presentation was beautiful. We went 2 days in a row to get the same meal because it was so good. The eggs were cooked perfectly every time and for how busy they were the meals came out like we were the only ones there. Super impressive. Amazing service. 100% recommend going here. It also has a beautiful view of the lake front
I.
Always a great range of cabinet food on offer. Coffee always spot on!
C.
Wonderful staff that smile & are so helpful to you, the best cabinet food and menu to choose from, the coffee is fantastic. A must do if you appreciate 'Real' food!!! The chilly jam is delicious!!!
L.
The glass shows beautiful foods, but this burrito was just beautiful, not tasty. The coffee is good, and the place is great as well.
E.
Super friendly staff who make consistently good coffees. Wide range of dietary options and a great baking selection. Staff are always cheerful and the cafe has an awesome vibe about it.
M.
This cafe was a great find as we were looking for a gluten free place to have an early breakfast at. The service was fantastic and very quick. The food was lovely.
M.
Awesome breakfast food and coffee - avocado smash all the way! Can be busy and sometimes a bit of a wait for a table.
L.
What an fantastic cafe. The staff are awesome, all smiling, friendly and engaging. A great place to make your local cafe while in queenstown. I'm a very fussy coffee drinker, short black all day long, there barister is awesome. The food is great with an excellent selection.
PS this is not a paid advert, just a happy visitor from the coffee capital of New Zealand, Wellington.
T.
Delicious food and friendly service. It's a popular place and gets busy!
E.
Loved this cafe! Ended up going here twice over my week long holiday because the food was amazing. Got the winter bowl first day which was very yummy, and the second day got the muesli. The entire family loved this place and had huge successes with their meals! There's definitely something on the menu for everyone. Slight downside was there was a slight lack of seating as it was school holidays and prime lunchtime so VERY busy. We did end up having to split our group over multiple tables which wasnt ideal. Very cute decorations and a cosy vibe. Perfect place for a nice breakfast or lunch!
F.
AWESOME FOOD!!!!! LOVED IT. I'm not vegetarian/vegan but had a vegan buddha bowl (chipotle something) that was to die for,and I don't even like hot/spicy food too.
My partner had the pancakes 🥞 and they were also just perfect.
Go there, you will not regret it.
J.
Great range of healthy hearty breakfast options.
M.
Great food and service, and well priced for Queenstown! Can get quite busy but if you can get a table the food comes reasonably quickly.
Y.
Amazing food & organic juice. The spiced pumpkin on rye was the best meal I had in a big week of food in QT (and it was vegan)! Thank you!
A.
Amazing service, amazing food 😍 highly recommend from this high allergy vegan x
J.
Good quality of coffee and nice brunch menu but so crowded with visitors and local people.
C.
Be prepared to eat great food with great service. The cabinet food is so tempting after choosing from the menu you'll want to add extras !
G.
Delicious!! We recently ate breakfast here, the staff were friendly and the view of the water from eating outside was gorgeous. Also the fresh toast daily special YUM. Good price and amazing presentation.
I.
Good place for having brunch with perfect view of lake WAKATIPU
J.
Pros:
- Good coffee
- Nice atmosphere
- Didn’t take too long to get a table
- Takeaway window food was nice (savoury scone and brioche)
Cons:
- Average food for $$$$$ (eg $7 for 3 rations of undercooked bacon, $4.5 for 5 miniature, undercooked, under seasoned mushrooms)
- The eggs benedict were nice, but again it was all bread and not enough of everything else
M.
Great Cafe, friendly staff. Had the cauliflower soup with crispy kale, what a huge serving!! Also lovely coffee and baking. I'll be back when next in Queenstown.
A.
Food was fantastic. Great coffee (best in QT I've tried so far), food was delicious, great selection for vegan, vegetarian and carnivores. The food on its own was 5 stars but the cafe is let down, and undeserving of a 5 star review, because the staff were so miserable and unfriendly. Ignored when we walked in, absolutely no smile or hello and the frostiness continued. Maybe we caught them on a bad day; will try again and see if it's any better!!!
J.
I'm a skeptic when it comes to black coffee but they have done it well, and the taste is on point. Scrambled eggs were excellent without excessive elaboration for a mean choice for breakfast. All in all a lovely place with free choice of sparkling or still water at your disposal. One of the best cafe in my week or so in NZ thus far!
C.
Great food, great people
A.
Food looks great and tastes amazing!
S.
Fanatics food and service. Went their again next day.
J.
Fantastic staff service, huge and interesting selection of imaginative food. Still as good as my last visit four years ago!
A.
Coffee is outstanding and the service and food cannot be faulted!
I accidentally forgot to stipulate no bread with my eggs due to coeliac allergy and I had to reorder (more than happy to repay) and they catered to my needs free of charge! Vudu is EXCEPTIONAL
T.
Only ordered coffee which was good. Food looked great but prices are definitely tourist town prices
S.
Outstanding service with great coffee and a tasty, creative menu. Staff are friendly, efficient and go above and beyond to look after you.
A.
Loved it. I had the special for the day and it was amazing. The salmon was really good.
S.
I reckon I’d give this place 6stars if that was an option.
Fresh, creative, delicious meal options.
Right in the thick of the waterfront.
This is the sort of place where u take photos of your food it looks so darn yummy.
And then u eat it. D’lish!
A.
The food here is great, healthy choices, fresh juice mixes, good breakfast menu. The cafe space is compact and the staff do a pretty amazing job managing the cafe operation under quite cramped conditions when the cafe is busy which is most of the time in our experience visiting here over several years. Can be a bit noisy at times. It would be great if these guys moved into a bigger premises. Despite all of that we will keep going back for the great food.
J.
Great coffee here and a solid selection of counter snacks and baked goods. I tried their flat white, long black, and a few sweet treats - everything was delicious and there some great vegan and vegetarian selections as well.
I didn’t try the actual menu items but the atmosphere and friendly staff make me want to come back to do so soon.
D.
We went here on a Tuesday for lunch. There was a good choice of food. The food was great and was served hot.
r.
Eggs Benedict with Salmon was made to perfection 🥰
J.
Fabulous little hidden away cafe.
Had a Delicious coffee and yummy poached eggs and halloumi. Both cooked perfectly.
Place was super busy in the morning with lots of people in and out for breakfast. Staff were busy but still friendly and cheerful.
J.
Amaaazzzing service. Incredible vegan bagel, best raw vegan Mars bar and excellent coffee. Best cafe in town.
C.
Really good Espresso and extra ordinary delicious cakes and desserts. You should definitely visit this Cafe and eat their carrot cake <3, but check out the times when its not crowded. Or you'll have to wait around 10-15 mins for a table and even longer for your order.
M.
Great spot. Busy, yet the food and service never seems to suffer. Portions are generous. Seriously.
E.
Brilliant service! Brilliant food!
M.
This is such a terrific place. The baked goods in the case are to die for. The menu items are unique and delicious. The coffee is tasty and well-made. Of particular note is the eggs-on-toast and the Brioche French Toast breakfast items. Bring an appetite for the french toast because it is huge and rich and sweet. The eggs on toast is also delicious, but for completely different reasons. Be sure not to leave without a few slices from the case to enjoy later. You'll be glad you did.
S.
The food here was super tasty, but despite what looks like a well-oiled machine of floor staff managing the many customers, their kitchen is falling down on serving times. Our breakfast took around 30 minutes to arrive. Glad we ordered a cabinet baked good to share! Once the food did arrive, it was glorious. I ordered the pumpkin and potato hash. It's a risk you take on a dish like this. I've had so many that were more like baby food! This was perfection. A beautiful selection of sauces (including a delicious house chipotle relish), and some lightly salted and thoughtfully presented kale. Would definitely go again, but perhaps avoid 9.30 onwards.

Best service, always with a smile, best coffee, great selection of food and best cakes display in town. We keep coming back every year they are always busy, yet wait time is never long. Staff always look like they are stoked to be there. Fantastic vibes, awesome atmosphere, music, food and excellent service. Every time.
C.
Lovely Location - Don‘t wait hours for a fergburger >>> Get one here :) The fries where amazing!
M.
Really amazing atmosphere, staff were very lively and efficient. There was a bit of a wait for my coffee takeaway, but that's just because it was busy. I can only give three stars for my time at the cafe. Would have been 4 if they didn't put milk in my long black when I asked for warm (dash of cold water inside), and would have been 5 if I got to taste and experience the coffee.
I'll give it another try some time so I can experience it for what I think it can be.
Revisited and much happier :) must have been an off day.
J.
Food is mouth-watering & delicious (cabinet and on the menu) and the space is truly homely. The staff is polite when greeting but very short and cold when interacting with clients (that’s my experience every time I come in). I can’t deny that I go there for the food and the coziness.
M.
After 2pm we found a sit. Breakfast time too busy don’t even try. good burger and avocado toast. Try the lemon tart!
-
Side note: Bespoke Kitchen and Vudu are clearly managed by the same person/owner. The offer is really similar. We preferred this one rather than Bespoke Kitchen, but unfortunately both of them could avoid putting extra paper under the burgers/toast/coffee cup.
M.
We stopped here for breakfast on our last day in Queenstown, if for no other reason than to see what all the fuss was about as every time we walked past it was packed full. For such a bustling cafe the service is friendly and meals/coffees arrived very quickly. Breakfast was great, eggs were cooked to perfection and coffee is excellent.
E.
Good breakfast, early opening time suited well.
L.
Everything looks good 👍 but needs more flavor
T.
Great cafe, gorgeous food and coffee with lovely staff. Would be five stars if the music was as considered as the food :)
F.
As a experienced barista I can say the coffee is brilliant. The food is all wonderful (especially the buckwheat pancakes and the pulled pork burger). It can get pretty busy and is quite small. There also isn't any WiFi but I'd still say this place is a favourite of mine because the coffee, meals, snacks and puddings are just so good.
A.
Back to this cafe again on my second visit to Queenstown. Still love their food and vibe. Always want to try all their bakes. Vegan and gluten free friendly. They are always busy and can get a little cramp.. but i will still go back:)
D.
A lovely place located close to the harbor in Queenstown NZ. It is a tiny but a very famous cafe in the city.
It has an amazing assortment of pastries and baked good. All them looking amazing and delicious. The menu is not too expensive and even enough for sharing (depending on how starving you are)
The only thing that I see as negative is that it is usually quite crowded. However, it worths it.
J.
The coffee and location were the standout on the visit. The poached eggs were cooked well but the hollandaise lacked acidity to balance its heaviness, otherwise seasoned well. The sundried tomato on top was completely unnecessary, dry and stale - detracting from the entire dish. the garnish should be re-visited. There was an air of disorganisation among the young staff and it missed a welcoming touch to visitors. Definitely worth a re visit, as I’m sure it deserves a solid 4/5.
W.
Epic vegan, great bagel and chocolate, service better than expected and prices normal. Music from the early 2000s lol will defo return
A.
Great coffee and lovely looking food. Very crowded and tiny space though, other customers kept trying to jump in the queue at the till and kids running round looked like a nightmare in the small space. Getting a table looked pretty luck of the draw!
A.
a busy little cafe for both locals and tourists, food is very good as well as the coffee and teas... and the sitting area out the back has awesome views of lake wakatipu
E.
It's pretty popular.. Tiny inside.. I won't say they are the friendliest I was on my way to the airport and the line waiting was long to be seated and to order. I wanted to try this place as it was recommended. I was not blown away I eat out a lot..for work and the staff were not friendly at all they were all young and seem either unhappy tired or uninterested in attending or serving or caring about the fact that I asked them to okeasy hurry my order . No one had a smile on their face I was pretty turned off by this experience. Food was ok.. Will I return? Most likely not.
B.
Lovely experience. Beautiful location, infront of the water, food was delicious. Myself and my wife got the egg Benedict with salmon, we loved it. The staff were also extremely friendly. Terrific place for breakfast or lunch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
A.
Have only grabbed Coffee here, the food looks Divine, the staff are friendly and pleasant. Coffee is also very good.
A.
Went a few times during our 4 days in Queenstown and the food was excellent. A busy cafe and the staff only to pleased to to accommodate and welcome you. Recommended
D.
These guys have a great selection of cakes and coffees. Plenty of good food options in the middle of Queenstown. It is difficult to get in and out of because the are pretty busy. The is also plenty of birds and the associated leftovers on the outside furniture. The service was polite and average.
S.
This place has delicious coffee, one of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had, adorable takeaway cups, and a BOMB chicken sandwich. So good I went twice in one day. And for some reason everyone who works here is GORGEOUS.
V.
Amazing Carrot cake, nice cappuccino too!
R.
Popular and rightly so. Great coffee, food selection and backed up with excellent service.
S.
Looking for a quick bite and Vudu was great. Prime spot on the waterfront and amazing cabinet food. Usually compromise food for location but not here. Food all ethically sourced which is a big thumbs up from me. Bean burrito was delish!! Will be back.
A.
Nice relaxed vibes, delicious food and friendly service.
M.
Delicious vegan breakfast, lunch, and amazing desserts!
M.
Awesome funky cafe to visit for the first time on a rainy and warm Queenstown day. My coffee was quick to arrive and delicious, as was my toasted banana bread. Half our party departed and staff were quick to ask us if we minded the tables being rearranged to seat waiting customers: of course not we said. We lingered for a bit but eventually reluctantly left to start our drive home to Christchurch.
S.
Have visited this cafe a few years ago and it's still one of the busiest due to it's ideal location in Queenstown and it was highly enjoyable.Having just come back from our Easter week, we were quickly turned off by the huge crowd waiting inside. A simple grab a coffee was no way going to happen this time of year. However, my experience this time was not quite so enjoyable. I understand it was busy and people are trying to look in the glass slice/cake counter which is located right in front however, the young staff were quite rude when trying to walk past to deliver the coffee/meals to other diners. Quite a few times whilst trying to select something I & another customer were met with a rude " Excuse Me !!" and a roll of the eyes more than once. Staff, you are dealing with adults/tourists here so please be a little more polite. The staff need to realise that the queue and influx of people hovering around the main area is necessary especially given the cash register is also there not to mention the door to the restrooms. The design of the cafe is simply not ideal and a major problem for both staff and customers, however coffee and food really good and worth the wait if you have time and patience. Worth walking around and finding other cafes not quite so busy in peak season as there are plenty more to find.
H.
Classic café grub. Excellent cabinet food and the menu items I saw looked tasty as well. The best little café in Queenstown without a doubt!
T.
I had the brussels hash and my wife had the roast pumpkin miso quinoa bowl. Both dishes were truly outstanding. So many interesting flavors, all presented beautifully. Outstanding breakfast or lunch spot - I would visit every week if I lived here. My only compliant was that my long black was delivered as a shot of espresso with hot water on the side (in other words, an americano).
J.
The best vegan pancakes!
B.
I had lunch there one afternoon (I can't remember, it may have been a weekend) and honestly it just felt sort of rushed. The coffee and food were both good, but I prefer cafes where I can sit and enjoy my time there. It's worth visiting if you're in town, but it's not somewhere I would return time and again.
S.
Lovely soup today. Great for a cold wet miserable day. Was impressed with the organisation of people and food.
I.
Vudu is always a staple for me in Queenstown. Great coffee and the food on both the menu and in the cabinet is brilliant. A little expensive but you get quality. Only bad thing is how busy it is! Locals like as well as many travellers so finding a seat can sometimes be tricky. Staff are always very efficient and will help you get a spot if they can.
H.
Better when it isn't crowded with patrons. Bizarre but tasty food choices from their cabinet. Good coffee, but a little more pricey than nearby spots. Nice ambiance. Staff seems on point at busy hours and checked out at slow hours. No wifi🤔
K.
Whilst the food is as good and the same as Bespoke kitchen the experience is not. Very strange system where you place your order then wait for a table to come available. Not very well laid out as you feel like you are sharing a table with your neighbors. Worth the walk up to Bespoke kitchen.
C.
Hope you are not in a hurry. Simple order but took a while just to get coffe and a tea. Quality was good and they made an extra effort to make sure the chosen pastry had no walnuts, hubby has this food allergy.
G.
Good stuff - didn't get phased by the line and waited for a seating inside. Tornado weather outdoors at the time, bagels will be rolling down the street if one's not careful.
The avocado with smash was yummy as expected. Eggs were poached masterfully. Also had the pleasure to order a few things to go: the fruit tart cake was simply amazing and not overly sweetened so you can actually taste the fruit instead of mouthful of sugar. The carrot cake was moist and delicious. And the japalpenos scone was [fire emoji]
R.
If i wanted healthy i would of ordered birch muesli or a tofu salad. Big fat doughy pancakes whilst filling were not delicous, in fact were barely edible. No table service, not cheap either.
A.
Great cafe. The lemon, honey & ginger drink was amazing
D.
WAS GOING TO RATE 4 STARS... BUT THEN
Solid cafe. Served up a nice “deconstructed” long black, which I appreciated. The views out the back over look the lake and mountains are incredible, a true QT experience.
The waiter pointed me in the direction of the water station... That’s when I saw the HOLY GRAIL of hospitality... Sparkling water on tap. Love it. Super refreshing and such a minor expense to provide an epic experience. Love it.
G.
Wow. I have never seen a cafe so well run from top to bottom. They are absolutely not quiet - the queue is always large but dont let that put you off. I found that I was served quicker than I have ever been in even a quiet place. You queue and a host will reserve you a table, so there's no table sitting or a mad scramble to find one. Whilst you are queuing, you are given a menu, so you can order quickly and sit down, no second is spared. Coffee is perfectly made, not under-espressed or bitter. The food is absolutely out of this world ! As someone who just wandered in without looking it up first, I was so impressed. Really flavoursome, ethical, and not overly fussy either, just really good. I recommend the fried green egg and the pancakes. The interior is beautiful, no detail is left untouched. I went here again the next day I liked it so much. Well done Vudu.
I came all the way from England, if only it was closer!
S.
Great food ! Service is alright, but the view from outside… outstanding !!
J.
Lovely coffee and cinnamon scroll. Rather noisy though 😕
S.
Great coffee. Amazing looking food...can't comment on the tastes as I didn't eat! Super busy, but not much of a wait for coffee. Staff could be a bit friendlier..
M.
We've been eating at Vudu Cafe twice every day for the last 3 days. Everything is just so amazing: the staff, the food, the furniture, etc. Try their soup (different every day, creative and tasty) (the portion is big and it comes with a warm bread). I would recommend this place to everyone (from kids to grand-parents!)
C.
Had breakfast here on one of the days during our stay in Queenstown. I picked up from the display and ordered a Burrito and Chia bowl for 24 NZD. Burrito was just okay. Chia Bowl had very few dry fruits and fruits in it as per the expectation. It was almost a plain bowl of chia seeds mixed with milk. Wasn's worth the money. Disappointing!
M.
Ate here a couple of times this week. Such great food, easy system (all cafes should adopt the pay before play method), and friendly staff. Also added bonus of having the shparkling water in tap. What a treat.
A.
Lovely, bright and friendly. Absolutely delicious breakfasts. Eggs benedict was amazing (bacon and vegetarian were both fab!) Buckwheat pancakes also delicious. Wonderful coffee and super friendly and attentive staff. Our favourite Queenstown brekky cafe 💟
K.
Great place for brunch
V.
This became our favourite hang out when my cousin and I were in Queenstown before lockdown, beautiful food, great coffee and a lovely place to spend time in. I hope you get lots of visitors now we can travel again. I will be back again as soon as I can with my family!
A.
Stopped for an afternoon tea and cake on a busy Saturday afternoon. High turnover so no issues finding a table. Tunisian orange cake was fab - flavourful and moist. They have at least a dozen cakes in the window in addition to a breakfast and lunch menu. Highly recommend this cafe.
W.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Queenstown. The food is always fantastic and the staff is also really friendly.
L.
This place has become really popular with visitors and locals alike but the growth has definitely impacted the quality of experience.
Every morning I have been here there seems to be an excessive number of people in line and really crowd the place. It is super busy because I think they have a very good variety of food options but the staff seemed over burdened with so many people, and tables turning over in a very crowded place. I think if they implement a couple of organizational systems they could improve the experience of the staff and guests alike.
R.
Pretty good spot for lunch. A variety of sandwiches and coffee. The premade sandwiches come out way faster than anything on the menu. If you order from the menu expect at least 30 minutes to get your food.
W.
Nice food and staff even if slightly crowded
I.
Real whole food made with some imagination. Able to serve vegan with style. Typically really busy with local workers and tourists packing in like sardines because the food is good. It's worth a bit of a squash and a wait. Chill out you're probably here on holiday.
N.
Outstanding Cafe, delicious food. Brunch was awesome, french toast pudding to die for. Cabinet treats looked amazing so we went back for more in the afternoon. Havent rated 5 star as it is a bit chaotic with the layout/ordering and seating, and couldnt order a 2nd coffee from your table. However the queues moved freely and food arrived in reasonable time. Highly recommend. Must visit! Dont let the crowds deter you.
N.
One of my favourite places to have breakfast in Queenstown. Visit Cafe offers a large range of great quality foods and good coffee. It gets busy so plan your trip wisely at peak times.
K.
Loved the immune smoothie 🥰
F.
Nice coffee.
Nice view if you sit outdoors. It's just by the lake. If you worry about the wind and being cold when sitting outside, no worries, they put a lot of blankets around. You don't even need to ask for it. Just simply grab one.
R.
The food was fantastic, we had a platter and pulled pork burger which come with these crispy fries that were awesome (not on the health list but certainly a hit with the taste.buds). Have to order from the counter so a little confusing until you work that out.
R.
Fabulous food and drinks! Definitely recommend the eggs benedict! Lovely view of the lake with the outdoor seating.
A.
Decent little cafe, but cold. Good place for those looking for Vegan friendly pancakes, disappointed it was strictly Vegan option, could definitely taste it.
A.
Amazing breakfast and coffee, but the services is extremely bad, I highly recommend a training to all the FOH staff in how they need to treat customers.
R.
Really tasty buckwheat pancakes and good service despite the massive but fast moving queue. Unfortunately they include 🐝 products but still claim the result is vegan, that kinda takes the edge off enjoying the place. Vegan = no animal products, let the bees be!
A.
Can't say enough positive things about the Vudu Cafe: Fantastic place to grab a breakfast, I especially recommend their pancakes. But they also got some very good salads and sandwiches. And the coffee is delicious, too.
P.
Amazing food and stunning location. If the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy the waterfront.
M.
Nice location and good coffee and food. Gets overcrowded at times.
M.
Vudu Cafe is my wife and my go to when we are visiting Queenstown. Coffee and food is good and their menu is more modern than lots of others. They also do amazing chips. Best cafe we've found in Queenstown.
S.
Great vibe, friendly staff. My only quibble was the lamington french toast... Having read the fine print, it does say 'brioche', but I was expecting a lamington! Perhaps if it was served with chocolate sauce instead of maple? Or coconut in the egg mix?
J.
Food and drinks were great, customer service poor. Both times we visited the person taking our order was borderline mean, let alone inviting.
Though a few of the girls were delightful.

J.
Great coffee here and a solid selection of counter snacks and baked goods. I tried their flat white, long black, and a few sweet treats - everything was delicious and there some great vegan and vegetarian selections as well. …
C.
Pea hash is amazing! Great atmosphere, amazing food. Would return to New Zealand just to go to this cafe!
S.
Great Coffee found on Google
A.
Back to this cafe again on my second visit to Queenstown. Still love their food and vibe. Always want to try all their bakes. Vegan and gluten free friendly. They are always busy and can get a little cramp.. but i will still go back:)
M.
Really lovely cafe. Scones were brilliant and rest of food looked really good. Need bigger coffee cups though!
H.
Better when it isn't crowded with patrons. Bizarre but tasty food choices from their cabinet. Good coffee, but a little more pricey than nearby spots. Nice ambiance. Staff seems on point at busy hours and checked out at slow hours. No wifi🤔

M.
Great service. Huge queue when we arrived but moved us through very efficiently. Such a good menu and cabinet food. Difficult to decide what to have!!!
J.
Great menu, perfect coffee, and their cheesecake and sandwiches are the best.
Only lost a star because their prices are way over-the-top (eg $6.50 for a side of bacon - you better get half a pig for that!).
C.
We were in Queenstown for four and a half days and this was easily the best food we had there. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back.
L.
Amazing selections, awesome brunch spot! Everything looks so delicious! I wish I had five stomaches to stuff more of their baked goods down! Definitely a must visit!
S.
Lovely place, but feels a bit hectic time to time, and I wish the staff members were a bit more friendly. They weren't rude or anything but didn't feel very welcome - probably just because it was so busy when we were there though. Still recommend to visit this place.
G.
This is THE place to go to eat in Queenstown! The food is phenomenal, the ambiance is fantastic, and the coffee is delicious. Order at the counter. If it's crowded and you want a table, look for a staff member when you walk in; they'll find a spot for you or put you on the list.
r.
Fanta stic coffees and food, best atmosphere in Queenstown, all the staff are wonderful, helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Just one star down coz the Soy milk is not 100% ok for gluten free people. Ratg er have Bonsoy to be sure.
M.
Great cafe, lovely staff, cabinet baked treats are some of the best I've ever seen
M.
If only this place was bigger. The food, coffee and staff were amazing. The only place I go when in Queenstown for a coffee and slice. I think I moved out of the way of people 12 times though that's how cramped it is. Food always looks and tastes amazing though.
J.
Best eggs bene and fabulous coffee
T.
Delicious cinnamon pancakes and immunity booster juice
M.
Best tasting heslthiest food I have ever had. Has options for everyone and you can enjoy delicious food guilt-free. Now is my favourite cafe in Queenstown
a.
Food was not impressive. Chicken burritos was not as good as it looks
N.
Fantastic vegan selection as well as great regular meals
M.
Super busy...and I understand why! Food is absolutely delicious. Fair prices for the quality of what you get! Staff remaind nice and attentive even at the busiest time. Would definetely recommend !!
n.
Great food... but disappointing service. Need to place order at the counter even thou there were 5 of us... still.. we will go again for the food.
C.
Pea hash is amazing! Great atmosphere, amazing food. Would return to New Zealand just to go to this cafe!
K.
Great service, awesome food
J.
Vudu is my go to when in QT! Quality service, quality food and plenty of dairy free and vegan options. And Cindy is the best barista in Queenstown!
M.
Great staff and excellent food. A fantastic place for breakfast or lunch. Can get busy but you can always takeaway.
S.
Delicious! Lost of vegan and vegetarian options.
E.
Great spot, a bit packed but the staff makes sure to get you a comfortable spot asap. Loved the chai pancakes - portion was big enough for two people!
R.
The best breakfast in New Zealand so far (after 14 days)! Really, really good. We had french toast and pancakes.
A.
Lovely coffee and a great selection of raw gluten free treats on offer. Very busy on my second visit but the staff handled the crowd well.
E.
Delicious and healthy food in a great location. Good coffee, too. If you don't feel like eating healthy food, there are plenty of other options as well.
M.
Good place to have casual meal. Watch out for long queues as they could get very busy. Service is quick and staff are friendly.
Outside tables are good as it overlooks the lake.
J.
Great coffee, terrific menu/daily specials - wholesome, fresh and tastes as incredible as it looks! Highly recommend.
c.
Great food coffee good also
J.
Fantastic staff, great selection of food. Mixed beans dish blended lovley flavors and presentation.
T.
Can’t imagine a better breakfast place - seriously delicious.
s.
Yummy food with so many great options, but not really sure about their process of prepping and serving your order, because it seems to take them forever even though every thing is already cooked in advance.
D.
Had breakfast two times and both times it was really good. The smoothies are quite good and the scones really nice as well.
A.
Wide range of cakes and meals, vegan options. Great location!
D.
Great location if you sit outside. Very good coffee. However the standard in Queenstown is very good. The breakfast roll is a great, tasty and generous.
M.
Good spot. I had the superfood rice bowl which was amazing but my girlfriend found the eggs Benedict mediocre. Overall a good place though!
S.
There might be a wait, but it went quicker than expected! The food was really good and they had unique combinations. The tea was very flavorful too.
L.
Lovely food choices. Nice staff. Fast service.
T.
Very popular café, with some delicious looking foods and great coffee. Be prepared for a bit of a queue to order -- and for a short wait for your drinks.
S.
Such good food !! So good for coeliac options ! Girls were really lovely and made great smoothies - went 2 days in a row 🙌
M.
Really lovely cafe. Scones were brilliant and rest of food looked really good. Need bigger coffee cups though!
S.
Delish ! The pastries are tasty, not too sweet and inexpensive for the quality. Thanks Vudu <3
M.
Good avo on toast, delivered at speed during what seemed to be quite a busy period. Map position is a bit misleading - you can sit outside on the waterfront, which is nice.
R.
Great menu items, very Instagramable and tasty. Coffee however was burnt. This burnt taste is a common feature I hav found in the south island. This is what holds back half a star. Good service.
B.
Perfectly good place for a coffee stop and something sweet. Lots of staff so efficient service. Feels like a place locals might go as well as tourists.
G.
Bustling busy energy really well managed by professional staff. Great coffee. Excellent breakfast. Standout cafe experience.
J.
Clever way of managing service sees you seated faster than you expect when busy. Good breakfast, I loved the smashed pumpkin and corn fritters.
T.
If you look closely... you can see Mike McCauley in the photo at the counter. He ordered a flat white... smart guy. 4 stars... the barista didn't tighten the lid all the way.... come on!
R.
Bloody good spot .... bloody good cheese rolls..
S.
Fabulous coffee, great food and service. A 'must visit' in Queenstown!
H.
Really delicious, amazing cabinet food, always packed at peak times, friendly staff.
E.
Love the atmosphere, but it is a small cafe so can be a little bit of a wait at times
C.
Best cafe in Queenstown!
K.
Great selection, esp. if you're veg or vegan. Could order while waiting in line so food arrived pronto after being seated
A.
Wow! Delish breakfast delights, great coffees, wonderful tea selections too. Thank you for the great start to our fantastic day. Cheers!
D.
Amazing breakfast, probably one of the best I've had in Queenstown so far! Its very busy so I'd say you go a bit early to get a table.
B.
The selection of sweets was limited and not so appetizing. I had their ginger lemon tea which tasted fresh and naturally made.
M.
Soooo yummy, many gf options, opens early so you can have breakfast, do recommend
S.
Always good. Got the avocado on toast - super delicious with hazelnut dukkah. The banoffi pie wasn't bad either :)
K.
10/10. The service was spot on, the pancakes were sensational and the environment was wonderful. Would go back again in a heartbeat!
J.
Salad was mean👌🥰
A.
Cabinet food is awesome! It's always busy in Vudu which is testament to its quality of food and coffee. Not pram friendly.
R.
Excellent healthy breakfast with wide variety of pastries.
C.
Excellent breakfast, many options on the menu! Not cheap but price matches quality! It't a great place to go!!
E.
Delicious coffee. Didn't like the frittata. Very busy setting but efficient service.
J.
Frantic breakfast, great lunch, and out of this world deserts. Very busy so expect some wait - though the staff is very efficient. But it’s worth the wait.
P.
Great breakfast and coffee with plenty of healthy, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options. A bit expensive but worth it. Sit outside near the foreshore!
J.
Absolutely my favourite, fantastic winter porridge and massive coffee, all the best of a winter breakfast with lashing of bacon and eggs.. Awesome (cafe & larder Rees St)
R.
Iconic Queenstown. Healthy tasty beautiful food, quality surrounds..stylish. pay a bit more here....but worth it
R.
Had a great brunch here. The food on display looked amazing and everything tasted great. Would love to checkout the whole menu!
G.
Very nice food and great service
J.
The best pancakes! Friendly staff.
L.

A.
This was such a cute and quaint cafe. The coffee was great, the food was really impressive and beautifully put together, and the staff was super friendly!
J.
An amazing Cafe. Friendly staff. Manager went out of her way to make sure I was looked after and enjoying my trip! Well done Vudu!!!!
L.
Great cafe which serves up good coffee and food. Grab a seat outside overlooking the lake and sip your latte in the sun while admiring the amazing view.
F.
We were recommended this place and the food, service and atmosphere didn’t disappoint. The cakes are amazing.
I.
Just like everywhere else in Queenstown during peak season, it's rammed full. The service is good and very effective. The food was just ok though and the crowds can be off putting.
D.
Busy busy busy but... it's kinda expected around here. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere if your able to get a seat.
N.
Very nice people, many coffee every day smiling to last one
T.
Vudu is awesome dot com. The coffee and food is amazing. And, even better, the owner is a photographer, so he pays attention to detail...
C.
The coffee is amazing. Great place to hang out, have breakfast, brunch and for work meetings.
M.
Great spot for a coffee and eats. Pleasant helpful staff
J.
Great food and nice coffee. It was really busy. Be sure get there early to get the seat.

Only had a flat white which was beautiful. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and food looked amazing but it was very busy and didn't have time to try, maybe next time.
E.
A great charcoal burger with falafel !
H.
Good coffee. Wide selection of fresh and tasty cabinet items. Sparkling water on tap. :)
M.
Great fare but breakfast was waaay too salty. Next time I will ask them to hold off on the salt.
G.
Excellent coffee but a bit kaotic as very busy, good atmosphere though and couteous staff
S.
Very good counter selection and great coffee. Good views if you sit out back.
A.
A great array of food, including many gluten free options. Good coffee and friendly service.
R.
Very popular place with excellent food and coffee. It's hard to get a seat at times unless it is a nice day and you can sit outside.
B.
Lovely lunch spot. Good coffee, got the table with powerplugs too and there's ok wifi from next door. Great vibe, great food.
t.
great place. super popular. really good range of food for all persuasions. coffee fab.
C.
Excellent breakfast options, great coffee and good outlook - always a must when we visit Queenstown
M.
Amazing brunch food and coffee. congested hence hard to find spot and some servers are rude.
m.
Good coffee and the Benedict was very good with runny poached eggs. Pastries are hit or miss
M.
Extensive variety, courteous staff. Food was great, coffee was goid but not great.
J.
Nice coffee
D.
Ratings day this case is one of the best for breakfast and brunch. People who come here tend to be abrupt, unkind to people who they believe are unaware of the cafe culture
U.
Good place, sandwiches were amazing. Good coffee, Breakfast was good too but little bit too cheesy.
P.
The menu is important, lot of (good) choices ! You can't travel in Queenstown without no visit Vudu
M.
Good food. Friendly staff - just let them allocate you a table rather than find a spot yourself...
I.
Savoury scones are just alright but the carrot cake was almost amazing. Friendly staff behind the counter.
R.
Amazing food creations. IGers will love this place. Food is visually appealing as well as tasty. The decor is also very trendy and cozy
M.
Nice food coffee ok.
Not much social distancing happening in this cafe.
E.
Really delicious food, very popular! Be prepared to wait for a table
F.
Love this place! Having breakfast with a stunning view! Nice food especially the scone.
N.
I would say the menu was pretty good, and the coffee was decent. Service was good and the staff was friendly.
N.
Good cafe. Nice food. Decent coffee. Not table service.
