J. V. V.Really tasty and decadent morning tea options! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is really hungry at morning tea! (Highly recommend the salted caramel and custard donut!) The wallpaper is amazing and really open layout onto the sidewalk.

G. R. (.The best cafe experience that we enjoyed during our 5 days staying in Richmond. Warm atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and nice breakfasts....poached eggs, bacon and tomato and toast with cream cheese and jam. Not forgetting the great coffees!

Great coffee, hot and tasty. Food well priced but very generous serving. For the grill the steak was a little under cooked but they happily re cooked it to our liking. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Great spot for brunch.

My friend and I visited 3 days ago on a exceptionally busy Friday afternoon, despite there being no tables when we first arrived we found the staff were all very upbeat and super friendly. After our 10 min wait we found a clean table that had been wiped down. We were treated to 5 min wait for our coffee and our cheesecake was not far behind. Can’t fault anything was superb as always. We even want to congratulate the owners and staff for their kiwi can do attitude on an exceptionally busy afternoon!!! See you later this week. 👍👍

The coffee is absolutely amazing, the day time menu is super tasty and well worth the value. I couldn’t recommend the evening menu anymore, the chefs really hit the nail on the head with the dishes and flavours!
The staff are super accommodating and extremely friendly. The cafe overal has a very genuine and welcoming vibe!
C. B.Went for an awesome dinner with the family. My steak was perfect and the Kahlua salted caramel cheesecake was divine! The staff even held the baby for us so all the adults could eat the the same time! Definitely recommend.
S. B.Six of us came in for dinner. 3 out of the 6 are keto. Food was delicious. Cooked beautifully and so much flavor.
Was a bit put off with our serving size though. We were told that they could accommodate keto friendly, and they would be happy to add extra veggies like broccoli etc inplace. But when we got there we asked for no potatos, they instead gave us only 3 extra green beans on our main course. Unfortunately we felt that the serving size was quite small just for the keto customers. We did get extra eggs as well but that was an extra charge. Otherwise, the food was very delicious. And everyone else said they loved their dinner.
I also felt everything was redeemed when they had a semi- keto option for dessert. They offer a 3 stack of keto pancakes with whipped cream and a berry compote. It was perfect to share for the 3 of us. Was kind of a bonus to be able to have dessert out in a restaurant that we can actually eat.
In all, I'd go back to give them another chance as the food was done very well and the pancakes were a nice treat.
R.$22 for a coffee and a pathetic bowl of cereal. I just about fell over.

C. W.Great coffee, great food. The floor is carpeted which keeps the noise level low, so it's possible to have a conversation. There's also plenty room between tables, for a spacious feeling. Its adjacent to a free carpark too. A top spot in Richmond.

I. T.Wow! It can tricky taking kids out for brunch, but The Wooden Spoon is fantastic!! From the kids area, colouring books and awesome kids meals, this place is so kid-friendly. Our coffees were gorgeous and the food was EPIC! Definitely will become a regular here
N. S.Friendly staff; lovely coffee; yummy and crunchy chips and a play area for the littlies. Altogether a great combination. Prices are comparable to other cafe prices. Because of the shape of the building (high ceilings) once you get more than around 10 people in there it can get a little loud, but you shouldn't let this stop you from trying them out.
J. a. B.There is a good variety of food here and the coffee is now the best equal in the area in and around the mall. It's the perfect quiet place for a family lunch or dinner, not date night. I like that you can see what goes on in the kitchen too. Staff are friendly . We found the serving staff a bit bumbly and distracted and the chairs are uncomfortable, but would recommend for a quiet family meal or coffee and a snack.

K. S.Awesome fun friendly service to the team down here and a 10/10 for great quality food for all family and friends. Little play area for the little ones (age 2-5). Definitely recommend to my friends and family any day. Drop on down and see the guy's you won't be dissapointed sweet as.
K. D.Lovely coffee. I had a mocha, and the barista was very quick and the drink delicious. The panini I had with it was okay. Turkey and feta with cranberry sauce. I found I would have preferred to go without feta.. my wife had a baked potato snack which was good. Her chai latte was beautiful and hit the nail on the head. We later had cheese scones with smoothies. The scenes were great, and the smoothies nice, but the eco straws were not very good as when I tried to drink, the straw kept collapsing stopping me from drinking..
