C.Fantastic service, really great food and coffee, and good music!
R.Just had lunch with my mother here. Both our meals were excellent and we saw someone else having the omelette which looked amazing but huge. Staff are nice
The coffee is called Organic and was very smooth. Cost is moderate $$just as an add on mother has lamb sausage and it was very tasty.
B.Came here for breakfast after walking past and thinking it looked good. We weren’t disappointed. Friendly staff and delicious food at a fairly decent price. Great coffee, loads of plants and unusual but delicious food. Defo coming back. Thanks!!

Me, my family and friends had breakfast there. Nice little spot on the corner, staff was friendly. So we had a order of the vege breakfast, omelette (generous size), pancakes and eggs benedict. All round good size meal and well priced. I had the Pancakes and it was different from the usual banana and bacon sides. It had custard and apple (with cinnamon) on on top, fresh cream on the side. Plus maple syrup to add. It was FANTASTIC!!! I really enjoyed this combination and would go back just for the pancakes. We love drinking coffee so this got the big tick of approval from me and my wife. Only had one thing is if there was a opinion of another 1 or 2 pancakes I probably would of got one more. (Because I can) Besides that it was a great way to start the day off. Definitely will go back.Two thumbs up!!!

S.Tried the Lil BTW breakfast of bacon, sausage, poached egg, hash browns, toast, tomato, mushrooms and rustic beans! Delish! There is a bigger size but this was perfect size for me. Lovely, friendly staff. Will definitely come back again 👍

P.This shop became our "go to cafe" while in Rotorua. Staff (one lady in particular) were excellent. She even anticipated we were going to share a slice with our coffee and brought 2 plates.

L.Came here on the weekend to try it out. Got the big vege breakfast and it was spot on. Avocado was beautifully ripe, eggs were poached to perfection and the Spanish beans were a great touch. Been trying out some other cafes in Rotorua for the last few weekends and they've all been a bit of a disappointment except for Bird The Word. Will definitely be back.

Only issue I would suggest changing is the small stainless steel teapot gets very hot and the handle is too small to safely pour tea.
D.Whilst a nice set up and coffee was good, a can’t help but put this review up out of disappointment. Ordered a long black, with a dash of milk to the side. What would be no more than 30ml of milk was $2!! Half the price of the coffee. $6 in total.
When you can pay $4.50 for a 2 liter milk and that’s the charge... this is a bit ridiculous. As a coffee lover, I rarely get charged for cold milk ever let alone $2
M.Loved coming here the first time in February and large coconut milk latte. This time, there large is a regular size not large like before. A tad disappointed second time around as large is good. M
M.Just excellent! These guys are trying so hard to provide a positive cafe experience. Food & coffee are primo. Fair price & flawless service. Came back twice while we were in Rotorua for the week!
