Amazing food and coffee! Had our weekend brunch here and we both left full and as happy as can be. Also took some sweets home with us too and can say that the lemon tarts are TO DIE FOR. Thank you very much for the amazing food!

!HIGH FIVE TEAM! 👌😁 I was visiting from Wellington. Went for breakfast with my family. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and cared for. So much so that my request for a white chocolate mochaccino was catered for, even though it is not on the menu. And the friendly staff member pulled it off even though she was new to making coffee, and it was delicious! 👊😋 The food that we had, was on point as well. The kitchen staff (one in particular 😉) were also very friendly. I love finding places that nail all areas of service as this one has, so I am happy to recommend this publicly on this platform. !THANKS LIME CAFFETERIA! 👍👊👌😎😎👌👊👍

Not sure I would recommend Lime Cafe if you are in a hurry. Whilst the meals we received were tasty, we waited a long time to receive them. Two other tables where the people came in a while after us received their meals earlier. I had to ask for water and when our meals finally came out, we had no cutlery to eat with. The staff were nice but not really onto it.

Had a beautiful breakfast at Lime today. Sweet corn fritters with bacon, warm tomato relish and hollandaise for me and, French toast with banana, bacon, maple syrup and cream for hubby. Our coffees were perfect, made exact to our request. I have two negatives but I’m sure they can be ironed out easily. 1. Our coffees were ordered soon after we were seated yet we didn’t get them until we’d finished our meal. They were also in disposable cups because they were out of large coffee cups. In hindsight if I’d known this I would’ve got small coffees in reusable cups so as not to add unnecessary waste to the environment. 2. The cutlery was being dried in full view of customers with a rather “well used / unclean looking” tea towel. I’d suggest either drying cutlery at the back or have lovely white towels just for cutlery, especially if drying is done in view of customers. We’ll definitely be back because all in all, we had a lovely breakfast with great customer service and value for money.

Drove around Rotorua lake front looking fo a restaurant to have lunch...no such luck..there was a lot of buildings going on and road blocks up..so settled for Lime Caffeteria which I have already visited pre covid...this visit wasn't as good as I remember it..the fish was cooked from frozen filets wish they would mention fish not fresh on menu..the mushrooms were tasty but cut up in small amounts with a very scented sauce..was different..the staff! yes well I don't think I'll be back...

The customer service was excellent from the staff. However, the eggs Benedict was good but the eggs were cooked too long till they were hard and the buns weren't toasted enough; while it was nice to have fresh bananas with the French toast the bananas were quite hard to chew.

One of the nicest cafes in Rotorua but I would have to complain about the pork belly on the mean. It’s not pork belly it’s pork steaks so i was very disappointed when i received it! Pork belly needs crackle.

Hi, We had lunch here today. Wonderful friendly staff. My friend had all sorts of requirements (Gluten & Dairy) and they checked everything was a 100% suitable. She has avocado on toast with mushrooms, poached egg with a salad and I had a Ham, tomato & cheese croissant with a small salad. Food was delicious, service was spot on. Thankyou

This is the best cafe I tried so far, we went this easter weeked. The place was choke a block. They had great staff on , the food was amazing , We tried the chicken with cous cous salad. it was just amazing . we were served by Marshalla and ashley such professional staff. I had the eggs benedict with salmon ($19.50). It was good, but it was served on plain white hamburgers buns. I also had a flat white which was good. UPDATE 10/02/19. This time I got the smoked salmon bagel and my friend got the 'homemade' crumpets. The smoked salmon was just plain sliced salmon and then there was a very small dish of cream cheese, 6 slices of tomato, and some red onion. That was it. Definitely not recommended. The homemade crumpets were from the packet and the peaches/apricots were from the tin. Not to be completely negative, my wife got the French toast and that was top notch. Overall the food is OK, but it's definitely not worth $20 per meal.

It's ok but not that special considering the price which is on the high end of mid-range. It was quite hars to move around... too many tables for the space. The food is fine but not exactly memorable. I had some sort of a salad as there were not great gluten free options as far as I could see.

Went to Lime which is on corner near village green by the memorial gate. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly smiles and a pleasingly fresh food cabinet. My coffee was excellent as was my custard slice. Very pleasing surroundings and attentive staff. Nice open and airy , just the goods for a hot summer. Stroll through the village green later down to the lake and burn off a few of the calories. Enjoy Lime.

Went to Lime for late lunch and absolutely loved it. The Asian beef salad and Thai green curry chicken risotto were outstanding. Lovely friendly atmosphere and staff, we will most definitely be back.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, and do their jobs very professional and seem to be loving their job and wanting to be here, and are very neat in appearance which is a pleasure to see... Being our first experience here, we started with my husband having mince on Ciabatta toast love the presentation and the taste was very appealing to the palate rating it 10/10 and my was a simple Eggs, Bacon on Ciabatta toast, and I rate it the same as my husband's and 10/10... Great food, great service & great coffee. I’d definitely suggest trying the mince on toast. They serve this classic meal with a poached egg which is an excellent touch. The food is very well presented and tastes as good as it looks.

All our food was tasty. There was a kids menu and kids enjoyed the food they got. The one issue is that they were quite busy and had a lot of people crowding around the counter. Its obvious why they are popular.
