Food was good Kids enjoyed the playground area Staff were a bit short and sweet. Could have just been a rough day. Well be back though 😊 Smile and enjoy the customers guys we wanna hear about the area and what u have to offer! Happy holidays looking forward to coming back

Chicken salad was amazing. I encourage people to go for a wonder around their gardens. Magnificent colour plantings . I was lucky to view the new accommodation chalet it was very stylish and welcoming also having a dog enclosure.

Mince on toast with acouple of eggs on top for late breakfast with a great coffee YUM! the lovely staff and owners were friendly and helpful definite a worthy stop, especially there outdoor settings are charming on a sunny day

Nice place to stop. The food is pretty regular, pies n chips n stuff but the staff are lovely. The homemade soups are hearty and great winter fare. They sell Marsh’s honey (10/10) deffo pick some up. The birds out back are great, zillions of waxeyes on the feeder table and a rescued hawk in the aviary. I’m not a massive fan of keeping birds in aviaries, but these guys do seem to care about their birds.

We overshot Roxburgh and pulled into this lovely cafe with a beautiful garden. Dog friendly, fabulous food and delightful service. We were so pleased to have found it and will certainly stop there again

Garden is amazing great to enjoy the food in. Our daughter loved the play house and the fish pond. BLT was lovely too. Definitely a beautiful place to eat.

Quaint cafe in Ettrick. Stopped in way through to Cromwell today, (29th May21). Didnt stay as such as was just getting a "bite to go". Good range of sandwiches, paninis pies etc. The sandwiches I had were good enough and of reasonable value. Lovely ladies serving. I'd happily return here. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Worth a stop when heading through Ettrick. Excellent coffee and the hand made pies they make are insance. Lots of different flavours as well. Oyster. Sweet and Sour Pork. Venison and Plum from memory. Highly recommend stopping here....
