Our first visited and have a very good impression that we need to visit again for a proper meal. The location is good, right on the main road with parking area. Good choices of drink

This was our first time at Joe's, and we are very happy with our visit. We went for a simple food selection of chips and gravy and JFC chicken burger, I have to say it was all delicious and we will certainly be back. Love the call button device, this is amazing for streamlining their service and the staff were superhekpful and attentive. Can't wait for our next visit. Giving this 5 stars isn't enough, I would give it 10.

Pretty good food. I asked for no chips with my burger and was asked if I'd like fried tomatoes instead. That was good. However my daughter asked for no chips with her meal and was offered mushrooms instead. When the meal arrived she got chips AND mushrooms,and the mushrooms were charged as a side dish! Clearly there are some teething problems between the ordering dept and the kitchen dept. I'll go again to see if it's got better in a few months.

What an awesome place. The food was delicious, the service was spot on and the ambience was great. Everyone at our table had something different and I had Chips and gravy 🥰 yum! Cause I'm uncouth. But for all you couther types, there's a huge selection of really really great food. But honestly... do the chips n gravy. You won't be disappointed!

If you think you have experience great food and great people before think again. This place rocks! Came here for my first visit and needed a place to eat and work from for 2-3 hours. Staff are genuinely friendly and you can tell the staff all treat each other like family. Super accommodating and the food is yum. Definitely know where to bring my clients to impress them in the future!

The food was really good, the burrito was tasty, and wasn't overdone. The iced coffee and mochas were pretty good too. It isn't overpriced for what you get, it's definitely worth it. It leaves you feeling satisfied. The service is a little slow, although it was a Saturday and pretty busy.

Great place, awesome location and love the decor - the theme and dedication to Bruce McLaren is a great way to celebrate him and his tremendous successes. We did arrive in between lunch and dinner, but stayed long enough and the kids were having so much fun that we stayed for dinner!

Being formerly from Gulf Harbour it was surprising to see that former farmland was now shops and restaurants - we popped in to Joe's and have to say that we were not disappointed in the slightest. Great food and even had nitro cold brew on tap! We'll be back for dinner in the not so distant future! :)

What a fantastic cafe. A couple of the staff went way beyond the call of duty to help my son today. Long story short, son missed his bus stop and landed up in Silverdale. He was soaked. He was welcomed into the warm cafe to wait for his dad and offered a drink. This act of kindness has gone such a long way. Thank you so much.

First Impression: Pros: Nice and cozy seats, wide range of food and drink choices, nice decorations, good vibes, great option for large gatherings, bar, the brekkie was ok but nothing special comparing to other places I visited. Cons: no smile at reception but good service from staff, area around the cafe is still under construction, limited parking, food smell all around, lots of room for improvement. My updated score: 7 out of 10 and will re-visit.

Came here last night (12/12) with my family and sat on the 40’s (I think). Our Waiter (boy, long brown hair) was so beyond lovely he made sure that we were happy during all parts of our meal and was super helpful with what to order. The restaurant was super clean and the squid was amazing! Shoutout guys! My partner said the steak was 10/10!!

Have been looking foward to trying this place since it opened, were not disappointed. Very nice setting for a casual meal with family or friends, good sized portions, flavors very savory, some dishes could do with a bit of spice. Staff helpful, were informed as we arrived that there would be a 45 min wait for food which ended up only 20 minutes.

Really nice food and helpful pleasant staff. We didn't realise it was dog friendly and got a huge shock when two dogs barked at each other. They continued to do this through our meal which spoiled things for us.

Loved the Queenstown Joes, decided to try the Silverdale place, remembered the most amazing coffee I had in Queenstown and it’s here as well. Great menu very generous portions, prices medium, service a little slow staff could be more attentive, had to ask them to clear the table as we wanted to order desserts. That didn’t put us off, would go back. Great spot

Not a huge menu but ample...was a bit disappointed as no fish on lunch menu and fish my normal go too so was pressed to order chicken, was ok to try but don't think would go again!

Customer service was wonderful. Food was good but has a little way to go. I ordered the pork belly it needed further crisping and the coleslaw didn't appear to have a dressing so I found it a bit dry and chunky. Kids were happy and the other adults. Schnitzel portions were massive and very tasty. Didn't do dessert this time as the meals were more than enough. Good drinks selection!

Atmosphere is lovely and the covered outside area is warm. Have had breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee here but unfortunately have encountered issues each and every time with cold cooked breakfasts, cold coffee (FYI coffees are in very small cups) and vanishing orders. Credit to the wait staff are very friendly, and the manager who was most accommodating and helpful when our entrees never turned up. Happy to visit Joes again but may give it a while until teething issues settle.

We love this place! Great food, excellent coffees and service - plus we get to bring our dog - who is a big fan of the cheese scones with jam :-) Only downside is the music is sometimes really loud & rowdy over breakfast. Other than that, we are happy and Joe's has become our new go-to local cafe.

Great interior, friendly service but food average at best based on three visits. Last time kids Schnitzels were tough to cut and smelled kind of funky. Stick with the basics here if I were you, eggs and bacon are hard to screw up and enjoy the diner esque decor.

Only giving a 3 because the staff were really nice. Food however was pretty ordinary. Took 45 minutes to arrive and was rather tasteless. My daughter booked online and when she tried to confirm by phone nobody was answering. We all took a chance as she had a 1 hour drive as we did to meet for a family lunch. Got there only to be told the booking hadn't gone through. Fortunately the very friendly staff sorted a table for us. But that was as good as it got. Will not be bothering to go back which is a pity as it would have made the perfect half way meeting place for our family

Overall Joe's garage is nice . The general atmosphere is nice as there’s different seating arrangements. Customer service is friendly and polite. Great dining experience for casual Sunday lunch. Very comfortable seating arrangements expansive &, cozy. Maitre de extremely friendly and great energy. The problem wasn't the food or the service we just couldn't get a carpark for a big restaurant there's barely any parking. Any plans to expand your car park?
