S.This is one of our regular haunts. We love it here for the cabinet selection. They also have a good menu as well. Which we tried today. My Eggs Bennie was delicious however putting cracked pepper on it before it leaves the kitchen was a bit of a let down as I’m not a fan.
Hubby had the corn fritters which were ok. Just too much sweet chilli sauce and not enough sour cream.
Our son loved his donut french toast.
Coffee here is good just if you like strong coffee ask for an extra shot.
M.A fantastic range of beautifully presented baked goods and healthy (and not so healthy, but delicious) drinks. The baked keto cheesecake was fantastic, we stumbled upon this cafe by chance and will definitely return.
M.Absolutely amazing. Was convinced to stay in Taupo an extra day just to have a second serving. The most delicious keto food I’ve tasted! Super lovely staff and very efficient, organised service. Only negative is wifi isn’t great.
R.Recently ordered a cake for a friends birthday. The online team were so easy to deal with and was really helpful to have the information about cakes readily available on their website. When picking up in store, the service was so friendly and very helpful with making sure we could transport the cake.
The quantity of cake for the price was very reasonable and we found it served more than mentioned. We ordered a roasted berry and dark chocolate cake and everyone raved about the icing!
Would highly recommend.
D.Wow! Everything about this place has wow factor. Food on point, their 'treat' selection incredible, so much colour and gorgeous design in their cabinet window. The little container coffee bar such a gorgeous feature.
Couldn't fault this cafe, food, venue, staff. My dream cafe!! Definitely a place to stop in Taupo!

b.We had the salmon hash cake and doughnut French toast, both were beautiful and lovely. Didn’t have much rooms for the beautiful cabinet sweet treats, but will try it again next time. The staff are very welcoming too. Thanks!
D.This must be one of the best cafes I have been to in a long while. Heaps of gluten free, sweet and savory, all on the top shelf. The corn fritters are a must! And the gf donuts! Excellent coffee.
Went there for morning tea and it was so good, went back for lunch! I wish I lived closer.
S.This is our regular in taupo. Always do a breakfast here. Eggs Benedict is great although I would like an option to swap out the potato cake it comes on with bread of some sort. Side from that their actual cakes and slices are decadent. Some of the best I've had. 👍

E.Absolutely love the food, coffee, environment so this should have been a 5 star but I’ve been there 20+ times now and there are constant issues with food and drink timings.
Sometimes we get cabinet food 20 minutes before coffee. Today 2 people received cabinet food 10 minutes before coffee, then 2 people received kitchen food 10 minutes after the coffee (the first two had finishes eating) and then the last person only received their meal when everyone else had finished. I really love this place but eating at different times or waiting for drinks well after we finish the meal constantly is disheartening and makes me not want to come back.
T.We needed a wedding cake in a pinch and were prepared to buy a cabinet cake but the service we recieved blew us away. They created something really special and we cant thank them enough!
As for the cafe, what a cool atmosphere. The food was SO good, as was the service. The best barrista's in Taupo I reckon.

K.Great coffee, incredible cabinet food. Menu meals were delicious however, they did come out at different times. Around 10 mins between each when it wasn't particularly busy.
P.My kids and I have been weekend lunchtime regulars ever since they opened.
Great coffee, the croque monsieur is delicious and filling and the berry custard brioche is heavenly. My kids light up every time we stand in front of their cabinets of muffins and cakes.
C.Sooo yummy. Berry and custard tart was the one of the tarts Iv ever tried. Savoury bacon and cheese brioche was also delicious. Look forward to trying some other treats. Definitely recommend.

M.Ended up coming here twice on our holiday - had great friendly service (even though the second time had a forgotten flat white which was promptly corrected). Chicken waffles are incredible and happy to see there are vegetarian options on the menu too! The food cabinet is impressive and an absolute trap. Wish you were here in Wellington! Thanks!
V.Stopped here for a coffee on our way to Wgtn, to be told no milk to make a coffee. Ordered also 3 scones, they were great. After seeing that customers after us were getting coffees made, we questioned re milk situation. It would have been courteous to let us know that prob had been resolved. We then ordered a coffee from lady in red cube instore.

A.The cafe was very busy on labour Monday, the entrance to the counter was very confusing. We ordered takeaway coffee and waited 20 minutes for the drinks. The coffee is made in a seperate area from where we ordered and didn’t know where to wait for the drinks, as there was too many shelves and people around. Our order was not called out, which made things a little confusing. I did hear other people’s name being yelled out while staff was standing in the middle on the cafe. In all the coffee was nice, the cafe space was pretty but needed work to coordinate things better. Staff were very pleasant

S.Super yummy cake, beautifully baked and decorated, made my birthday :) Recently we visited the new Baked location for coffee and a cupcake. Loved the Passionfruit and Coconut cupcake so much we asked if it was possible to have it in a larger version for a 50th birthday celebration. Of course, was the answer with a smile :) Picked up the cake and it looked so beautiful and the taste was just divine, appreciated the 'naked' icing which used a little less on the sides, allowed for the passionfruit to hit the palate just right! A big hit with everyone. Thanks so much for making my birthday celebration special.

M.Popped in for a cake - indecisiveness kicked in over berry brownie or macadamia caramel. Decided on macadamia caramel as it’s something I’ve not had before and was very impressed. Super delicious. So good I decided to go back and get the brownie as well - I was in holiday after all! Brownie also divine. Huge slices so saved half of each for next day and still tasted amazing then. Wish I had more of that macadamia caramel!!

R.Baked with Love. Superb baked goods. The donuts are something special. Wonderful flaky pastry in the pies. Sometimes it is hard to choose what to have. I really like this place. Can you tell? Two shipping containers for seating are part of the decor. They add a fun quirky factor. The staff are very warm and helpful, and genuine in their manner. Very good selection of GF and vegan foods. Baked with Love is a MUST to try!

M.Had brunch this morning, incredible food! We had a chocolate custard donut and a strawberry custard tart thing and they were so perfect, not too sweet and great prices. Look forward to going again tomorrow before we leave!
J.The decor and ambiance is great. We didn't try the food but it all looked delicious and we will be back to sample. The coffee was good but service unacceptably slow this morning- we waited 30 minutes for 3 coffees. Apparently this is unusual so we will try again.
Update: have since returned for a delicious lunch, and happy to note the coffee service was very prompt. Thanks to the owners for their attention to improving it.

Plenty of gluten free, but little / no vegan options unfortunately
F.It was a bit difficult to choose a rating as we had a chocolate berry brownie which was absolutely incredible - moist and flavourful. But we also ordered a quesadilla which was smothered with sweet chilli sauce so was extremely sweet but the filling was unbearably salty. I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. Shouldn’t really be called a quesadilla either as it was not very Mexican. So would definitely return for the baking but not order anything off the menu.

F.My wife and I did some research online as we wanted to find a place that served French toast. We stumbled upon baked with love and decided to go there for brunch. When we arrived, I went to the front counter and ordered our food. My wife had the French toast with a side of bacon and a cappuccino with a shot of hazelnut syrup, and I had the porridge with a spicy Chai latte with soy milk. As I was placing our order, I asked the female staff member that was on counter duty to put the bacon on a separate plate as I am a vegetarian and I am allergic to meat. The female staff member then told me that she would place the order of the French toast through and mention that is was with a side of bacon but let the chef know that they needed to put it on the side so I wouldn't be charged extra. I thought that was very nice of her to do. I saw the female staff member that took my order speak to the chef about it and the chef looked like she was a bit confused as to why the bacon had to be put on the side.
After that, I had to ask the female staff member that took my order for a table number as she did not provide me one. When I went back to my seat, my wife and I waited for our orders to arrive. We both received our drinks first and I must say that it was very average. My wife's cappuccino was decent but not excellent, and my spicy Chai latte with soy milk was not great as I thought it would be. It had way too much cinnamon which overpowered the flavour of the Chai itself.
A few moments later we had received our food. My wife thought that the French toast was not good as it was it too soggy and had too many toppings. She did say that the French toast was fluffy but it lacked flavour. When I started to eat my porridge, it had no flavour either and it was very bland. The only thing that I kind of liked was the crumble and the berries that came as a topping with the porridge.
Overall, the reason why we gave this place 3 stars was because we saw potential but felt that the food and beverages did not impress us at all. The food was overly priced for the size portions that you got. We would probably recommend that you buy their cabinet baked goods as we felt that this was probably more of their strong suit then hot food.
N.B. I have also seen the establishments response to customers reviews on Google reviews. It just seems that the establishment expects the customer(s) to be their quality controller, and telling them on the spot what was wrong with their order instead of them ensuring what they serve to their customers is of the best quality that they can offer.
D.I've been meaning to try this place for ages and am so glad I did! Food and coffee was delicious, service was prompt and friendly; love the setting and variety of seating options. A really good experience, I will be back.

M.Discovered them at the Taupo Markets on Saturday! My husband and I shared a berry donut and a salted caramel donut. Absolutely delicious sweet treats! Well worth the cost given the decent size of the product and effort taken by the baker to prepare.
