Place was nice. Had indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee was delicious. Great cabinet food options. Decor was nice and tidy, wasn't overly busy compared to other cafes in the area.

We had a family breakfast there this morning.staff were amazing service100% and our food and coffee were faultless...all yummy Will definitely go back.

Got a major hunger? Get the RH Big Breakfast. Sorry the picture is of an empty plate but I was extra hungry but oh so satisfied now. Eggs done your style, lashings of scrumptious bacon, relish, baked beans, hash brown, gourmet sausages, bread/toast again your choice plus a big mushroom. Great service, good selection, easy walk if you park just slightly out of the centre as parking can be hard to find when Taupo is pumping.

Always friendly staff and good coffee, tends not to be as busy as some other local cafes which I find is great, can get a table and hear yourself think without the noise of several other patrons.

Not a bad place to eat and have a coffee. Staff were really nice, dining area was a little small. Food could be a little better but all in all not too bad.

Not only does the owner remember your name but he also remembered how much I love butter :) food is great too

We had a really lovely breakfast with some different options. All well cooked, attractively served with great attention. So good in fact we returned next morning for another breakfast.

The coffee was delicious and the people were friendly and welcoming. Didn't try the bakery but the scones looked especially amazing. The atmosphere was warm and cheerful. Definitely a highlight of my Taupo visit!

Food and service is great. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and our order taken quickly. Food was also prepared very quickly. We had eggs on toast and an omlet both of which were very delicious and fluffy. Staff ensured were were happy with our food. Highly recommend them.

The coffee and lemon slice we're both tasty . The coffee was very warm but not hot. The shop itself looked a little scruffy and in need of a bit of a spruce up. There was a good selection of sweet and savoury food in the display cabinet, and there were other hot meals that could be purchased. There was a fair amount of outside seating, and a good amount of inside seating. There is no view per se, just an outlook onto the street. The staff were neither friendly nor surly, just fairly neutral. The shop itself does not really have an ambiance or atmosphere per se, which is fine if that's what you are looking for. So it would be fair to say it has a neutral feel. The wait time for our coffees was acceptable, but I can see that during busy times there would be much longer waits.

Lovely food. We came here for brunch and had no problem seating 6 of us at no notice. Food was yum and service quick. Was a fairly busy Sunday morning too but this didn't detract from good service. Would happily come here again. Right in middle if town. Loads of parking around.

If you're a fan of Starbucks in the States, then you'll be a fan of RH in New Zealand! Since I'm not a coffee drinker I can only say second hand that the drinks seem to be good and as varied as those you might be accustomed to in the States. But the food menu is much better, actually cooked to order and made fresh, more like a good restaurant, though not as big a menu as a food first restaurant.

Date and orange scones are very yummy

Had a chocolate Frappe and Caramel slice to die for here, gorgeous food and excellent service. Girlfriend had the Peppermint tea and a raspberry cake that she loved! Atmosphere was really nice, quiet and plenty of space/seating. Would definitely recommend coming here for a light bite.

This is a fabulous place for coffee tea & refreshments. It is always very clean. Managed by Owner Patrick, it has a pleasant ambience, great range of food, and is very friendly. A MUST stop in my view.

Bacon nutty was average. The scone was beautiful which brought my eating up. Coffees were made quickly and tasted good. Service was good and fast

Coffee was ok. Filo was all egg.. not much else, tasty though. Fish pie didn't taste very nice.. carrot boost was yummy.

Ordered the All Day Breakfast. $20. 2Poached eggs, 2kranskys, 2hashbrowns, bacon, baked beans, mushroom. Didnt hv to wait long. Tasted delicious. Would recommend.

Enjoyed potato, bacon and spinach salad with a mustard seed dressing. My friend had spinach and feta muffin which she rated as she did the coffee. Lots of healthy options. Good for anyone wanting a healthy bite.

The food is delicious would deffiently recommend the blueberry cheese cake and bacon and egg pie also the smoothies are absolutely amazing not a huge fan of the berrie one but the juicy mango is by far the best nice place good location.

Great service. My partner loved her hotcakes with mascarpone and caramalised banana and I had a nice coffee. The eggs bene was nice and had a generous amount of bacon on it (as in, the amount of bacon you SHOULD have on eggs bene) but it was DROWNED in hollandaise sauce. When you put hollandaise over eggs bene, you can just get about a tablespoon of sauce per egg and pour it over the top from the spoon. This was like the hollandaise had been poured out of a glass. That said, after removing a lot of the sauce the meal was still delicious and we left full and happy. Next time just a bit less hollandaise!
