Great spot to stop on our way up north. So good that we stopped again on our way back South after our vacation! Great service. Enough space to be comfortable and excellent food. A definite winner for families, a couple, if you are staying in Taupo or just passing through. Highly recommend it.

Fabulous service from the minute you walk in the door to time you leave. The food is great. All of our group thoroughly enjoyed their brunch choice. Two of us had the pancakes and thought it would be good to be able to choose 1or 2 pancakes as they are big and extremely filling. Lovely cool setting with a choice of indoor or outdoor. Worth the visit.

Really nice place and good atmosphere. The food is a little on the expensive side but the quality is definitely worth it. I had a mix up thinking the wifi was paid for so I bought a voucher and the owners offered to refund me because they have free vouchers available. So I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a really good breakfast and coffee.

Love eating at Victoria's, couldn't come to Taupo without stopping here. Today while my wife ate a spinach roll I had Reuben sandwich. No disappointments. Great service too. My iced chocolate was incredible.

Great lunch stop.Free 60 minute parking nearby. We had excellent coffees and a “rolled omelette”. It was fluffy and generously filled with chorizo, potato cubes and caremelised onion.

Went to this place two mornings in a row for our morning coffee... one of those mornings being the day of the 10th anniversary for the Taupo summer concert with more than 20,000 people in town across the road. It was like musical chairs. One got up and left, another one filled the spot immediately. With around 60+ people wining and dining, the tables were clean, the food was flowing, and the smiles were plenty. We didn't wait any more than 15minutes for our bowls of coffees and 3 meals. So impressed with the way the staff handled such a crazy amount of patrons without any delays. Would recommend this place and trying the "energy salad" and the mac and cheese. It's to die for

Ambiance is very beautiful with stylish decor. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would rate this place higher however i had an omelete which was 21$ which in my opinion is worth max 14$. I'll come more often.If you don't want Lake views but a great coffee etc when heading south or North then this is the place! AND ITS NOT NOISEY. Back again today - I like you - see you on Friday! Friday I brought my wife and she loved it. Look at the meal. Best mushroom & chicken I've tasted in NZ! Except my wife's cooking! We had brunch here when we saw how popular it was. We weren't disappointed. Hubby had poached eggs and toast and l had the pancakes with spiced apple, walnuts and pistachios, blackberries, freeze dried raspberries and 2 generous dollops of creme fraiche. The pancakes were big and super light and fluffy. The best l have ever eaten. We will definitely be going back. Very friendly staff and clean and tidy cafe.

A really great place and it would be our first choice by miles when we come through Taupo again. The atmosphere is great, the food is varied and has healthy choices. The coffee is excellent and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The place was humming by 12.00 and I am really happy we went a bit earlier. There seemed to be as many locals as visitors which to me is an indicator of a good cafe. Service is quick and the items in the cabinet were worth having as much as those on the menu. Don't expect everything to come at the same time as they are busy. Hot and fast is better than slow and co-ordinated.

The place is nice to spend time with friends or families. Coffee taste is balance and fancy. The creamy mushroom is suprised me, as it used Chinese white mushroom, this is so different to others. Special but I prefer button mushroom or brown mushroom or portobello flat mushroom than this white mushroom, as the white mushroom doesn't have flavor from mushroom but with good plant collagen when under a slow cook. The squid taste is good but a bit soft and the dough is not crispy enough.

Everything here was top notch; food, ambiance, decor, service. I can't say enough nice things! Their scones are a treat that I would come back to again and again, tried the big breakfast and the pancakes. Lemme tell you these pancakes are rich and fluffy and thick. The coconut, passion fruit, and raspberry work so well to create a truly mouthwatering dish. Also they are so beautiful. I hardly wanted to eat them, but for the sake of your taste buds you gotta dig in!

We always hit this place up when we come to Taupo and have yet to be disappointed. The food is flavorful and beautifully presented and the coffee is above average for sure. The bakery items in the case are often better looking than tasting, but take a chance anyway and try several different things. We often come for brunch and have ordered both savory and sweet items. The eggs benny and bacon as well as the pancakes are all worth it, so feel confident in your selection.

Victoria's is a great spot able to accomodate small or large groups, without being to big or small. They are available as a function facility at night time and change the menu seasonally. The slogan is Life Is Good & owners seem to run it with that attitude in mind!
