D.On the mornings I choose to get a delicious coffee, this place is my new go to! Yummy All Press coffee made by friendly staff. Definitely recommend. 😊
D.A must if you enjoy good coffee - advertises as the best coffee in Taupo and it was certainly the best coffee we had in Taupo...up there with the best in NZ. We also had breakfast there and the food was lovely, simple but full of flavour and a good serving.
Service was super friendly. Zest delivers a great experience behind a simple facade.

Y.Very friendly service and awesome food/coffee. Ordering some eggs Benedict is always a gamble. In my last few visits at Zest, it has been consistent quality. Not many cafe use cold smoked salmon. Well done and highly recommended.
K.Lovely place with nice staff. Away from the crowds of town but still central. Nice food. Mostly breakfast options on the menu but they have an array of wonderful options in the cabinet. Good for kids with some books and toys. Kids sized portions available from menu. Pictured is the kids sized bacon and eggs for $10. They do dine in or takeaway coffee if you need it. T leaf teas available. Wait was nice and short, we went to another place that told us we needed a 45 minute wait for food, this place was way nicer!
D.Visited at breakfast time on a dull weather Saturday morning, there were already quite a few people who were eating in, which was encouraging. Had a homemade savory, delicious with real mince inside (not just gravy) & light flakey pastry. Delicious looking menu on the wall with the usual fare. I watched carefully when the server dropped a clean knife on the floor, good to see it was immediately picked up & put with the dirty cutlery. Easy to park outside, they are not located in the central shopping area, but not too far away & worth the trip. Recommended.
L.Ironman 2021. I have been to this cafe last year and this year during Ironman to support my partner. I must say both the times i enjoyed my food and coffee. I was so looking forward to have the coffee this year because i enjoyed it so much last year. Best way to watch the Ironman with best coffee. See you next year when we are in Taupo for Ironman.

K.After trying a bunch of places for breakfast brunch around city, by far this is one of the best places we came across!! Portion, flavour and price everything is on point and worth it!!! The food was really filling, delish and the people working (I'm assuming were the owners) were really friendly :). Loved this place and would recommend anyone for a classic breakfast that is filling!!
N.Coffee and food are simply awesome!!! I love the waffle, just can't resist waffle! They have great food selection and top notch food presentation, and a cute coffee menu doodle. Look forward to this year's holiday break to Taupo and Zest again, they do deserve the 'Best Coffee in Taupo'
